Very attractive on the flat, with three eye-catching paces. Scored in the 20s on several occasions at intermediate level, and always consistent with his tests.

Easy and straightforward to a fence show jumping. Careful jumper who has jumped clear in three out of his four intermediate runs this year.

Good cross country horse, who takes you and is keen but not strong. Goes in a universal bit on the middle ring and comes back very well, gallops easily and makes the time at intermediate level without difficulty. Very straight and not spooky.

Extremely easy to handle on the ground, in the stable and at events. Very nice temperament and easy going attitude. Hacked out by inexperienced riders, alone or in company.

Good to shoe, clip, load etc. Does crib bite but manageable and doesn’t affect his performance.

Ed is an attractive homebred grey gelding by Primitive Star (ID x TB) out of a full TB mare who evented to 2* level. He is approx 16.1hh, 9yrs old, very compact and has 3 good paces with a bold careful jump. He is for sale through no fault of his own, he needs someone who can give him more time as I am now unable to with 2 small children.

He has a naturally cheeky and inquisitive character which is a pleasure to be around and is good to do in all ways. He was bred and broken by ourselves so we have his full life history. For the last couple of seasons he has been competed by a friend & professional due to my lack of time and is proving to be very talented in all 3 phases. He is very bold XC and loves his job! We’ve had the pleasure of owning buzz since a foal and has proved to be a beautiful horse on the flat , with a natural bold/athletic jump. He is a charming horse with a likeable attitude and temperament who has been given the tools to excel in many different disciplines.

Buzz has always shown a great willingness to learn and will always try very hard to please. Buzz is well schooled on the flat, and he does show enough to excel in this sphere. He has enjoyed training at a higher level this year,and with time and training will continue to improve.

Buzz has a lovely, naturally built frame and top line and also plenty of bone. He is a very nice “sit on”, with a good shoulder and length of rein which means he scores well in the dressage. He has a big engine, and great ground covering paces. His breeding is typical of a modern sport horse, with plenty of blood.

We have given buzz plenty of competition experience which he has thoroughly enjoyed picking up some consistent results at BE100 along the way and including qualifying for Cornbury 5 y/o Championship. He is very easy to take away in the lorry and will not make a competition day any more stressful than it needs to be.

Buzz is a firm favourite on the yard, he’s always there for a cuddle, he loves being with people. He is a pleasure to hack, and fun to work with in the arena. This is the ultimate 2* cross country machine - brave, bold and always looking for the next set of flags. He is the horse you can trust to bring his rider safely home over the biggest of tracks and he is happy to jump from any stride and out of any ground. He has taken his last 3 teenage girl riders successfully from BE90 to 2* instilling them all with the utmost confidence to tackle any cross country course.

He is an out and out XC schoolmaster at the 2* level although at the end of last year stepped up to Intermediate level, jumping easily round a huge Kelsall track (one of only 2 clear XC rounds in the OIU21 section). He has jumped up to BS Foxhunter and is well schooled on the flat finding 3* level work easy at home.

He has plenty of scope SJ and flourishes with a quiet confident rider. Dressage would be his weaker phase and this can sometimes lead to inconsistent scores. However, he is capable of doing a beautiful test.

He is a fit and athletic competition horse and would therefore not be suitable for a novice. You will want to be a competent and gutsy rider who enjoys a forward going ride. Would suit an ambitious teen looking to gain valuable experience for future teams.

He is easy to do in every way with super manners on the ground, is a pleasure to have on the yard and enjoys a relationship with his rider. She has won at every level from BE 90 up to Intermediate and 2* initially with a keen amateur and more recently, a Junior rider who took her from 100 to where she is now which really speaks volumes about her temperament as she was his step up from ponies. Together they have achieved so much, a highlight being winning a team gold medal at the Junior Europeans in 2022! She also finished 4th individually completing on her dressage score and went on to step up to 3*S and take 5th in the YR class at Cornbury. They have many top 10 placings and won a 2* and have been clear XC in both their 3* runs most recently at Kelsall April ‘24. She has the scope, ability and trainability to go on with ambitious rider, or equally she will be happy teaching another junior/amateur rider the ropes.

Promise is really consistent in her dressage and always in the top few after the first phase, she is very rideable, markable and correct. She also has a BD record to elementary level.

Mr OBOS Hullaballo is a horse of a lifetime that is destined to compete at the top of the sport.

Boston was bought as a 4 year old and has been produced and competed by a teenage girl. Boston has numerous double clears and placings at Intermediate and 3* level.

He is very consistent in his flat work phase with beautiful flashy paces and is extremely rideable meaning he consistently scores well on the flat.

His jumping phases are by far his biggest asset, jumping multiple clears at 1.20 SJI and eventing and schooling around 1.30, he could easily go pure showjumping.

Boston is everything you would want in a cross country horse, he is fast, brave and extremely straight with 100% FEl clear XC record. Unfortunately two errors of course by the rider in his last two internationals has kept him out of a podium and top placing.

He is fit and sound waiting for his next jockey.

This is a heartbreaking sale of my horse of a lifetime that we have hemmed and hawed at but unfortunately as doing a masters degree I do not have the time to put in to this calibre of horse. He is a horse that deserves to have his name in bright lights. 5* home is a must.
