Dave is a 16.1, 8yo green book Sports Horse Gelding.

He has a big loveable character & is easy to handle in all ways. Dave loves to hack out, is safe, not phased by traffic or noises and he hacks over the motorway no bother.

Dave has a good temperament and is good in the stable. He is good to load and travel. He will stand on the trailer and also be tacked up at a venue without hassle. He is good to catch, good for the farrier and physio but will need some Sedalin for the dentist.

Dave is snaffle mouthed and well behaved in open spaces. He will lead or follow and has done showjumping schooling, arena hires, XC schooled & been out with the hunt where he has behaved very well.

Unfortunately Dave has a minor splint so would not be suitable for the show ring.

Dave can be a typical lazy teenage boy so a competent, firm rider is a must to make his mind up for him. He enjoys a variety of activities and gets bored & lazy in the school. During his schooling, he will test boundaries at first when asked to work correctly, however once ridden forward and through this he is brilliant and straight forward to do everything with.

There is lots of horse to sit on and is a comfy ride. He doesn’t get fresh or need riding every day and also he is no more fresh during the winter.

Dave was bought last summer to sell on and I have had lots of fun with him over this period but due to being very busy and full at home we need to cut numbers.

No novices, he will take the mick if you do not stand your ground as he would rather just plod along, however in the right hands this horse will go far and excel across the disciplines but would be best suited to a hunting, XC, eventing, hacking, type home. Lancashire based
