Doesn’t need to be a world beater particularly on the flat. But happy to jump 80/90 cm sj , Just a horse that would enjoy a fun varied life. We enjoy hacking in the woods, moors and quiet lanes alone and in company.

Must be good to travel and in traffic and not be too fizzy but will consider ailments/quirks if disclosed. May suit an older horse or genuine younger one.

• We are looking to take on a loan/lease event horse; either a younger horse that has evented to BE100
• capable jockey 17 years old who has currently evented to BE 90 produced our 14 year old pony.

Comfortable handling competition horses, however must be safe for mum to hack out to keep fit while daughter studying A levels next year and genuine / established enough to provide higher level competition experience.

Have professional references available from regular trainers and previous loan owners.

Im a confident rider with many many years of experience with different breed of horses. However, as I am nearing 40, i am now looking for my last horse of a life time, so looking for a nice allrounder to have fun and bring me back home safe and in one piece.

I own a small holding which consists of stables, arena and 10 acres of land.

Currently have 5 horses at home which consist of a pony for my daughter, 2 retired that have been with me for years and 2 youngsters I bred myself.

Things I am looking for in my next horse - they must be easy to do in all ways, I often will go to shows by myself or with my young daughter.

Confidence giver and forgiving in the jumping department, someone to help me out when I get it wrong - nice steady approach when jumping, don’t want something that locks on a shoots forward.

Hack out alone and in company.

Must work in a nice soft outline as I do like the odd dressage test.

Must be able to go on a fun ride without going mental.

No bucking, rearing - I understand it is impossible to ask for a bomb proof horse but something not spooky.

I am actively looking and have a healthy budget for the right horse.

Height - 15.2hh to 16.2hh don’t want anything smaller. May consider something bigger but I am only 5ft2 so don’t want to be over horsed.

Age - 7 years to 11years may go slightly older depending on how old. But don’t want to go any younger as I do what the horse to have experience.

Ideally looking to buy from a private home, someone who has had their horse for a while and knows a lot of history.

Horse must be open to vet and vet history.

I am looking for a eventer (gelding)either a younger horse to bring on or an older horse that needs to come down some grades. I enjoy all phases but his paces must have potential of reaching medium level dressage and be able to jump up to 100 now or in time.

My budget is around £10,000 and so I do not mind a horse that needs work as long as they are sane and trainable, I am getting too old for sharp horses, especially riding around the farm with birds, deer etc. alternatively an older horse that has been there done that would also be an option.

I would still like to be competitive but at a lower level now, I do travel on my own and so need a horse that is manageable.

I have another older horse so will have company and would be turned out daily.

I am very open minded so please throw any possibilities my way.
