Very sad sale of our Bessie who we have owned for nearly 3 years. She was bought for my then 8 year old daughter who has sadly lost interest. Bessie is for sale through no fault of her own and has been ridden by her teenage loaner for the past 18 months. They have taken part in pole clinics, general schooling and hacking over the winter and have enjoyed doing dressage tests together, always coming top 4 in with the adults.

She is a 10 year old 13.3hh exceptionally well marked mare, compact with a leg in each corner. She would make an ideal PC pony, potential show pony or active mother and daughter share. Bessie loves a varied workload and is a super fun girl with a strong personality. She is well schooled with 3 lovely paces and will step up or down a gear.

Bessie is a forward fun hack and loves the farm rides. In her previous home she enjoyed jumping, cross-country and fun rides with a confident child.

Bessie has no vices but can sometimes be bolshy/facey on the ground and slightly nappy with a novice. A more confident rider can push her through as it's nothing dramatic. She doesn't buck, rear or bolt. Bessie is looking for an active home as she will turn her hoof to anything. I think she would do very well in the show ring or equally as a PC pony or a mother/daughter share that just wants to have fun with her.

Our girl is up to date with farrier/teeth/vaccinations/chiropractor and wants for nothing.
She is very easy to catch, stands great for the farrier, loads easily and is good in traffic. She will have the odd look at things but has never been silly.

This is a heartbreaking sale, absolutely no time wasters as this is hard enough . She's a cracking pony with a lot to offer to the right home.

HEADING SOUTH ‘Goose’

Goose is a 3 year old blagdon cob, Roughly 12.3hh , gelded. Expected 13-13.2

Available to view & sell from mid may when he will be brought in from the field and begin his education. Price will go up accordingly.

I’ve owned goose since a yearling and he’s been nothing but a pleasure, he’s been showing several times never home without a rosette. Brilliant comments from judges about his confirmation, temperament and appearance.

Really good looking cob with lovely movement, successful in the show ring bringing home 1sts and reserve champ. He’s foot perfect for everything. Loads straightaway, Good for farrier, never silly at shows, good with traffic, leads from another horse.

Will make the perfect children’s pony or showing pony. I’m sure he will be a pleasure to break and bring along for any discipline or purpose. I popped my race saddle on him to hold as i didn’t have enough hands and he didn’t care at all! Or, he’s happy just as a companion.

Goose is perfectly fine by himself and can be left alone for any period of time, doesn’t mind other horses leaving.

Has been led off my tb on hacks and has been the sensible one! Perfect in traffic and busy areas, never fased by anything. Trots and walks when asked.

He’s been turned away for the winter and is currently in his winter woolies, ready to further his education. Happy stabled or living out. Loves attention and a groom. Goose has the easiest most laidback attitude.

Ernie Cool is an exceptional traditional cob who has had countless wins throughout his showing career. This is an extremely hard sell and hasn’t been an easy decision.

We have had Ernie for the past 5 years, since he was a 3 year old. He was broken in by myself when he was 4 and has been shown since.

He is no kick along cob, and is forward off the leg. Due to this I wouldn’t recommend him for a novice.

He’s perfect with the blacksmith, to clip and bath.

Ernie is registered with CHAPS and also overstamped with TGCA.

- 6th place HOYS 2024 - tradional search for a star
- 1st search for a star hoys qualifier 2024 - Hartpury, also placed at all the other qualifiers also

- 1st CHAPS Traditional inhand and x3 reserve champions at CHAPS midlands show 2023
- 7th out of 47 in Coloured ridden at STARS 2023
- 1st in TGCA ridden and inhand and champion at Penistone agricultural show for the past 3 years - 2022, 2023, 2024.
- x3 1st in coloured and traditional and overall champion at Ripley agricultural show 2024

Ernie has already qualified for 4 classes at TOYS 2025, he will come with his TGCA qualification cards.

He is a very easy home produced pony and will be an asset to any showing home.

Trixie is the most genuine, kind mare who will just do anything you ask for her-she is just one in a million. She is excellent to shoe, clip, bath (will stand with her legs in buckets!) handle, load, travels anywhere and will stand quiet on the lorry all day. She is just such a polite easy pony a real family pony. My 72 year old mum looks after her.

She has previously qualified for the RIHS multiple times and has done Dressage. She is as close to bombproof as they come out hacking, she will hack out on busy roads, brilliant in heavy traffic, alone and in company.

She is a lovely forward ride and not a typical Cob, takes care of her rider, doesn’t need riding all the time, you can just get on and go, she would be an ideal Mother Daughter share.

She will stay on her own, if you take other ponies away, never makes a fuss, she’s very independent.

I have owned this pony just under a year, due to very sad extreme circumstances I am unfortunately having to part with her, I have known her since she was 4 years old and she has only had one previous owner, all her previous history is known.

Her previous owner used to pop a few small jumps which she really enjoyed-I don’t jump and don’t have the facility to do this.

She is sold with her Fylde Ray Saddle and everyday Bridle.

She has the usual Mallenders that these Cobs have with Feather.

Enough white on his body to be competed in coloured classes (and liked at Chaps 2024). registered chaps last year and really did us proud in hand. see pictures. He was placed in all his classes and went thru to evening performance. Masses of video and pictures available to show any serious enquiries.

His movement is great and he has considerable power in his gaits, so I would hope he could excel at showing or a mix of winter hunting and summer fun. He is a blank canvas ready for his next adventures.

Currently wears a 6ft /6ft3rug, but depending on make these can be a little snug on the bottom!

He is not a kids pony. He may be in many years to come but right now he needs consistency in handling and training.

His learning has been incredible, taken at his pace, There are no vices and no problems to report, but that is because he has been given the best start.

Loads and travels well with others or alone in both a trailer or 3.5t
