Very correct conformation, exceptional movement and a seriously good temperament associated with ID breeding. He is very light over the ground with a real “ look at me attitude “.

One loose jumping session where he proved very willing. Several avenues to follow with this boy.

He came out of the West in May and went to grass. Stabled 4 weeks ago.

Scrapboy is the first son of Scrapman to gain Class 1 status. The dam, Phantom Queen was purposely bred to Scrapman. Her genetic and type were of outstanding Irish Draught standard. The daughter of King Elvis x Colman x Blue Peter , Ireland's renowned and stalwart RID stallions.

Scrapboy travelled to the UK in 2021 and gave an impressive and talented performance at the IDHS Stallion Inspections. The inspection report described him as 'Very good topline and forearm. Adequate type for breed standard. Correct walk with good balance in trot and canter. A careful stallion with lots of scope', scoring over 70 in each category.

Scrapboy started his breeding career in 2022 at the renowned Drumhowan Stud, Co. Monaghan with Eamon & Gladys McArdle (trained for AI collection). His progeny are nice quality type foals.

Scrapboy certainly captures the eye, his technique, expression and athleticism is simply exceptional.
