His sire is the legendary Gwennic de Goariva, out of a Rockrimmon Silver Diamond mare, such fantastic breeding. I have honestly never come across such a sensible young horse. He is so straight forward.

He has three balanced, rhythmic paces an a beautiful way of going. Balanced, understands his work well and nicely educated on the flat. Has been to BD clinic s and has just been perfect.

To jump hes rhythmic andgenuine both SJ and XC. Nothing fazes him. Jumping courses 85cm with ease and a lot more to come. XC he has popped ditches, water and banks, he’s so so genuine and always tries his best.

Hacking out he’s a lovely easy chap, sensible in traffic and open spaces.

He’s hunting In a snaffle with a teenager and we couldn’t ask more of him. Goes first or last and showing so much scope for the future.

Jack is a true stamp MW Hunter. He has the most amazing temperament and has been professionally broken and educated. He is always willing to please and is a quick learner.

He has 3 good paces, is easy to ride, light in the hand with a super trainable attitude. He is a total gentleman in every way. He loves people and is lovely in and out the stable. No vices.

Jack has done lots of hacking in company and on his own. He isn’t phased by traffic, farm machinery/animals. He has done hound exercise with the local hunt, where he was calm and mannerly. He’s also done some pole work and cross poles.

Jack was broken last year and has been correctly educated and professionally schooled. He was lightly shown last year as a Novice Hunter, winning all his classes. This year Jack has been lightly shown. He’s been well placed in all his classes. He attended The Side Saddle National Championship Show at Addington Manor where he got some lovely comments from the judges and was well placed. He is clean limbed, and his confirmation is straight and correct. He’s very comfortable to ride, snaffle mouthed. He is still learning so no novices.

Jack is up to date with Vaccinations, Farrier, Worming and Teeth. He travels on his own and in company, is easy to load.

Jack is still being educated with a professional and will be doing some dressage and hunting over the winter. He recently competed in a Prelim and Novice dressage competition where he won both his classes.


I bought Jack over 2 years ago and have been so happy with him at all stages of his development since. He truly is the horse of a lifetime that I have always dreamed of owning but unfortunately, he has just grown too big and still growing for my very petite 5ft 1 inch frame.

This elegant and eye-catching 18.3hh, 8-year-old ID, has regularly field-mastered and hunted in the South West for 4 seasons. Produced with care and regularly schooled. He is as dependable as he is exciting, would suit a thruster, front riding jump all – or the opposite. Ernest jumps anything and everything (whether in front, behind, or alone), and happily goes out on point. He also rides beautifully in the field and eve good at gate-shutting.

Ernest rides like 16.3/17hh with a smooth, fluid stride that captures attention wherever he goes. He’s ridden regularly by both a 6ft male and a light 5ft7 lady, and he has been hunted by several others, with references available on request.

At home, Ernest hacks out alone, leads, and is good in traffic. He’s easy to catch, clip, shoe, and load into both trailers and lorries. He could put his hand to other disciplines and would show like a dream if with the right owner. He had a routine hobday in March 2024.
