Betty is a very loved horse, she's done everything from beach rides to hunting, pub rides etc. and takes everything in her stride. The sort of horse that is very hard to come by!! Very straightforward - will wait whilst you get off to pick up a whip whilst everyone gallops off!

I'm beginning to increase her training, she's jumping round 1m courses easily and recently jumped 1.38m in a gate jumping competition! Very nice with flatwork but wouldn't suit a home that just goes round in circles in the school.

She loves hacking alone (often ridden by my mother) or in company, not spooky but still young so wouldn't suit a complete beginner.

Good in traffic, shoeing, clipping, no vices. Compact type, great confirmation.

Chieftain Jack - Show Jumper / Eventer - Jack is a 10 year old, 15.3hh, light bay, TB, gelding.

Jack has competed at BE90 and over the last year BSJA 90 and 1m. Jack had an early career in flat racing which did not come to an end through injury or illness. Jack has never been sick or sorry.

Jack has basic flatwork with nice adjustable paces. For the past year with me Jack has been competing at Hartpury University unaffiliated and at British Novice and Discovery affiliated, on a ticket, due to membership costs.

Jack and I have been training at Hartpury with Joe MacDonald at 1m/1.05, Jack most certainly has the scope, attitude and ability to go higher. Jack is a level headed gelding with the sweetest, kindest personality with a 'can do' attitude that wants to please his rider.

He enjoys hacking and can go alone or in company, at the back or the front.

Jack will always come out of the box the same he is never silly, hot, fizzy or strong. He has never bucked or reared. No vices.

However Jack is forward going with his jumping and really enjoys it.

Jack has excellent manners ridden and in hand. He copes well in different environments and isn't fazed by the lack of turnout during the winter.

Jack is good in open spaces even when others are playing up, Jack will be the calm one getting on with the job and having fun.
