This beautiful horse has fantastic paces and a lovely trainable attitude and temperament along with untapped potential for many disciplines

She has been in the same home for 3 yrs and has taken part in local Sj comps (upto 1m classes) and one day events. This year she took part in the pony club regional Sj and Eventing champs. She is very comfortable at this level and more than ready to move up levels

Ridden in a snaffle at all times with the softest of mouths.

Gem has many excellent attributes. She should excel in dressage or Eventing. she is straightforward to ride across country and show jump. She jumps water trays & Sj fillers, goes through xc water, over ditches, banks etc in a lovely manner.

She hacks alone and in company, loads and travels easily (with or without company) is very pleasant and easy to prepare and handle at competitions. Gem has stayed away at competitions in temporary stabling. This didn’t unsettle her and she took everything in her stride

This cracking horse has a full Connemara Sire and Irish sport horse Dam

We have recently imported Frank from Ireland he was broken in last October then turned away for the winter. This year has been to training shows in Ireland and brought on. He has a scopey honest jump willing and trainable.

He has been cross country schooling both in Ireland and here proving honest and bold with out being strong. Jumping everything that he was asked, ditches, logs, banks, drops and water.

Frank is working well on the flat for his age and wants to please. He has a lovely balanced canter.

Traveling is a joy he loads easily, you don't even know he is in the lorry stands the at the other end, and a pleasure to do. Hacks alone and in company. Good to box, shoe, catch. a polite person to lead in and out of the field and in the stable.

Frank is four and needs educating further but so far has been an absolute pleasure to ride and look after a great horse to produce and educate.

Showjumping
She has jumped upto & inc Discovery showing lots of scope and a great technique. She is careful, brave and super straightforward. She has been to a couple of stay away shows where she behaved impeccably and was totally un fazed all with a nervous teenager.

XC
We have taken her XC schooling with two different riders she looked after her nervous jockey and gave them lots of confidence. The next time we took her she really impressed, jumping all the big fences inc hedges, ditches, corners, straight in the water and was totally fearless.

Hunting
As expected she absolutely excelled out hunting jumping everything we came across even when the one in front stopped. She was polite all day and stood quietly when asked. As you can see by the photos I had a great time & can’t wait to take her again!

Hacking
She is everyone’s favourite horse to hack as she is super quiet and takes everything and anything she comes acrosss in her stride. She has been to the beach where she was also super safe, easy & polite.

She really is the sweetest mare you will ever meet! She has the kindest most loving temperament and is good to do in all ways, I’m sure she will make her next lucky rider very happy. This horse’s front foot are not a pair. She is currently unshod so I’m sure with shoeing this could be corrected however it has never bothered her or us and she has clean x-rays in both front feet. However because of this she is available at a bargain price, you will not find a horse with this temperament and talent for this money. Very sad private sale

Athena is brilliant in open spaces and loves having a canter along with other horses. She will happily follow behind so is an ideal horse for fun rides and would make a fantastic hunter.

She is foot perfect out hacking both alone and in company and is good with traffic and farm machinery. She will happily go first, last or in the middle of a group. She isn’t clingy or kicky and is good with opening gates, dogs and all other types of farm animals.

Athena loads straight on the wagon or trailer and I often take her out and about on my own. She also happily stands on the wagon on her own at shows, so you can go off and leave her whilst you have a look round.. She is very easy and low maintenance to deal with.

She will live in or out happily, with no vices. She isn’t ridden every day and having days off has no effect on her behavior.

She’s always first to come over to see me in the field and brilliant to deal with on the ground. She loves human attention and being made a fuss of.

Genuine and loveable and a firm yard favorite, who is the sort that is extremely hard to find. I will be sad to see her go, as I have really enjoyed working with her.
