May - 16h 4yr old mare by gold star

May is the sweetest young horse you could find with a lovely attitude to her work

She has a cracking jump and is super bold, been out to a few shows including a British novice and jumped straight round. Not phased by any filler and very clever brain for a young horse. Well behaved in warm ups and super easy to take out. Stands on lorry with or without another horse and just an angel in every way

She has three balanced paces and works well in school, she is super safe and never silly, very level headed for a horse her age and easy enough for an amateur.

Backed and produced by amateur females and been super easy full history known as she was a homebred, lovely person on the ground all she wants is cuddles! good in all ways and vice free

Top home wanted for this super mare who has such an exciting future ahead

Chilli- 16h AES chestnut mare, 12yo. Bred in NZ then successfully competed up to 1.30s being state champion in Queensland.

Chilli was then imported to Singapore before coming to the UK.

Chilli is bred to jump and is winning machine for any teenager/small adult that wants to have fun SJ and always in the placings.

Chilli is one of the most easiest horses to handle, shoe, box, hack & clip.

Snaffle mouthed, well behaved at shows & knows her job.

Super brave & quick against the clock!

Chilli is currently out competing & winning at 1.10 with the thought in mind for the amateur league classes but plenty of scope & ability for the bigger tracks.

A super talented mare that loves her job & so much fun to ride.

Grade B with 1194 BS Points

No Vices, easy to load, shoe, clip etc

Is a pleasure to hack out alone or in company and good in traffic. Has been on pleasure and beach rides.

Has been schooled and competed professionally to a high level, but yet has been show jumped by an amateur and a teen. Has a heart of gold and always aims to please.

Would suit mother/son/daughter share. Would also suit someone coming off ponies or a junior/young rider because of her rideability or an amateur wanting a horse to look after them and help them step up the grades. Contender for Bronze/Silver leagues too.

Brave and genuine attitude, has been the horse that has stepped the riders up a level and has forgiven many riders for their mistakes.

Exceptional breeding

Has a Dressage career which started March 2022. Qualified for Summer/Winter Area Festival & Regionals over the last 2 years up to Elementary level.

Schooled at home to Medium level

Snaffled mouth

Easy mare to ride and will always help her rider out. Never says no to a fence or anything that is asked of her. Sad sale of this beautiful mare, but wasted and needs to do a job for someone else.

Can be seen out competing now as currently at a competition livery yard.

Rio - Ultimate dream allrounder.

16.2/3hh 12 year old gelding by Casall X Online VI

Rio is a true gentleman to do in all ways, he’s beautifully schooled on the flat, he is a lovely flashy correct mover with the most amazing canter that you could sit to all day.

He’s snaffle mouthed at all times and would produce a lovely test!

Rio would make a top end flashy RC horse/ all rounder. He doesn’t get fresh sharp or silly and is great to hack alone or in company.

Have hacked on busy main roads with roadworks and machinery going on, hacked in open spaces alone and in company.

I really can’t rate this horse enough, he’s absolutely unbelievable to deal with in all ways.

Got outstanding manners and loves a fuss.

Clips like a dream no headcollar needed, good to shoe, load etc.

Searching for his forever knowledgable home.

No loans.

No trials.

Rio Bravo Z is the perfect candidate for Children on Horses or Junior nations cup teams next year.

He is a 16.1hh 11yo gelding who has been produced by a young girl since he was 7.

Last year he was selected for two Young Rider Nations Cups (1.45m) for Team GB and has jumped numerous 2* Grand Prix and 3* Ranking classes up to 1.50m.

Due to his size he is well suited to a female rider and would also be ideal for someone coming off of ponies.

He is very easy and excellent to handle in all ways.

Gorgeous upstanding 2016 17.1hh Irish grey gelding (green book and beautifully bred). This kind, lovely boy has been in the same home since he was four years old, he is a seasoned hunter and knows the job inside out, he will cover big country, any ground.

Has been ridden by a small petite lady and has proven to be a complete gentleman at all times, a hard type to find, he’s patient, easy and polite. Doctor Max offers three light paces on the flat, he works in a snaffle and would do a lovely test; he isn’t sharp or difficult to ride.

Doctor Max is bold to a fence, he will jump whatever is put in front of him and gives you total confidence he will always go, we have jumped him up to 1m25 over show jumps – he is careful, talented and scopey, making it very easy for his pilot.

He’s as bold showjumping as he is over a hedge or rail. This chap will go on and do any job, anywhere, for anyone. He loves to hack out, he will go out and come home on the buckle, brilliant in open spaces, chaotic environments, big traffic, farm animals etc.

Not only is he an easy ride, he is a total darling to have in the yard, easy to have around and a nice horse to have in the yard. Open to any vet or trainer

This mare is one In a million. 'Carels Lass' - Lass is a 16.3 8yr old chestnut mare.

She has a super temperament with no vices and loves to please

She was brought over from Ireland 3 months ago as a Homebred

GrandSire Heartbreaker.
Granddam by Harlequin Du Carel. Flashy established paces.

Has 67 SJI points won to date competing up to & including 1.20m successfully. Also schooled over cross country fences

Has competed previously by a 13 year old girl in pentathlons and her first ride off ponies.

She’s a real confidence giving mare and would excel in any discipline

Lass is happy jumping 1.20 as she is popping around a 80, she is so versatile and adapts to her rider. a straightforward ride and gives you a lovely feel to a fence.

She has passed a 5 stage vetting, and has clean ultrasounds and x rays which are available to view to serious buyer.

She also is up to date with farrier, dentist and chiropractor. She hacks out alone or in company, she isn’t strong and ridden In a snaffle. She travels alone or in company and is so easy to do.

Absolutely genuine reason for sale and no fault of Hers she is genuinely too big ride for current owner. She is 70 and has had a hip replacement, we needs something smaller.

Very sad sale, as you don’t come across many horses like this. First to view will buy, 10 star home only for this special mare.

Lovely in looks and temperament, this gorgeous boy has it all. Bee is a sweetheart, sensible and light to the aids under saddle. Bee is a joy to ride and be around. He is easy to handle, loves people and always keen to please.

He has competed up to Elementry with scores to 88.7%. This was the score that got him into the Horse & Hound. He is established in his single flying changes. He is very easy and supple in high lateral work and goes in a snaffle without the need of whip or spurs.

He tries his heart out every time he goes in the school. He is very calm and reliable at competitions - every aspect from travel, to standing and waiting.

He is great at hacking and is often leads more nervous horses out on the roads. Bee would also jump around a small course of jumps.

Bee has superb bloodlines and really does them justice. No health or soundness issues, up to date with teeth, physio, vaccines, etc.

Overall one of the loveliest horses I have ever come across a real family horse. He is easy in every single way. This special boy certainly deserves the most wonderful home.

Bee hasn't done alot for the last 18 months (competition wise) as i have had a baby but is back in work again now and needs a loving home so he can be used to his full potential.

DO YOU HAVE A HORSE OR PONY SUITABLE FOR THE RDA?

WANTED ON LONG TERM LOAN / PURCHASE

Ref #: 249896
  • If you think your equine has what it takes, please contact one of the groups below
  • If you think your equine has what it takes, please contact one of the groups below

One of the main issues that RDA groups face is finding an Equine to suit the needs of the participants in their group.

We are regularly contacted with offers of Equines that are ‘the ideal RDA horse or pony’ when actually what is ideal for one group may not be for the next. We are trying to move away from the stereotypical view that RDA Equines are elderly and somewhat static, our horses and ponies need to be fit, healthy and athletic to cope with the lifestyle in an RDA group.

They can range from smaller, forward going ponies to weight carrying cobs and can take part in a range of disciplines from Riding to Carriage Driving, Vaulting to Show Jumping and Endurance.

If you contact an RDA Group about your Equine please be prepared to fill in an Equine Initial Interest Form which will ask you many questions about your horses’ temperament, health history, experience and lifestyle. Many groups will prefer to have an equine on trial to make sure they are suitable for the job.

For long term loans and purchases they will also be required to have a Pre-Purchase Examination.

If you think your equine has what it takes, please contact one of the groups below.

2012 mare by Gelvin Clover (1.60m) out of a 1.45m mare by Calypso, isn’t strong and rides very light.

You will not find a kinder horse. She’s easy to do everything with.

Bunny’s full history is know from breeder to now. She’s always been ridden by petite female riders and doesn’t ride big. She has 3 amazing paces and super comfortable!

She was with a teenager in Ireland when I brought her over last year. I sold her again to a teenager who she has been with the last 12 months where she has stayed in a equine private school system. And taught her rider and given confidence where the rider is now ready for the next step up.

Bunny has a great showjumping record in Ireland upto 1.15m

She has hunted also, she’s impeccable to hack, doesn’t get fresh or silly.

She has plenty of scope to be a Foxhunter horse. She is honest to a fence and not spooky. Easy to see a stride on as she stays in a level canter too and from a fence.

She’s forward without being strong. We ride and jump her in a snaffle

Good to hack, shoe, clip, beach rides, loads, has been XC.

Very straightforward and a real amateur dream horse, schoolmaster type.

He is seriously talented. Happily schooling round 1.30+ very brave scopey and genuine on any stride. He loves his job and takes you to a fence.

Qualified Newcomers and Foxhunter 2r 2024

I believe he has the scope and talent of a GP horse but also be happy jumping the bronze and silver leagues with an amateur.

He moves very nicely and put together very well I think would also make a top HOYS worker.

He is mega XC and has previously done dressage.

Hacks great very good to do in all ways .

16.1hh bay gelding, 11 years old by Zig Zag. We have owned Storm for 3 years but have known him since a 5 year old.

We have enjoyed showjumping, dressage, XC and hacking, beach, picnic and sponsored rides.

Storm has been a fabulous first proper horse from ponies for my daughter as he is kind and willing. Storm is a forward thinking horse who needs a quiet balanced rider to get the best from him.

He is an ideal mother / daughter / son share and is 100% in the heaviest traffic, goes first or last and hacks willingly solo.

Top class RC / PC / NSEA bronze / silver league contender.

This is a very sad sale due to daughter moving on to bigger tracks, Storm has jumped up to 1.30 with my daughter but is happiest up to 1.20, he is very competitive being naturally quick and easy to turn up to the fences. Bold to all fillers, trays, water, ditches and steps.

Storm Is good to catch, clip, farrier and box, traveling and standing happily in both large lorry and trailer. Kind loving family home wanted for our much loved horse.

This mare has it all! Extremely competitive at bronze league level , great temperament , great to hack , extremely honest.

Moda has been a great first horse off ponies proving herself day in day out to be extremely competitive picking up many wins and placings with an inexperienced rider.

Moda is great to hack , clip , shoe , etc.

She would best suit someone who wants to be competitive and pick up many rosettes , she wants to win more than you do! Or she would suit someone wanting a nice allrounder to enjoy day to day.

She is extremely bold and has unaffiliated evented up to 100 proving herself very consistent winning her last one with a 23 dressage and a double clear. Has done all pc activities , fun ride , hunter trials and much more.

He is simply one in a million. Horses like him really don’t come around often. Mr Darcey is sadly for sale due to being outgrown. Been in a loving home and now it’s time for him to give another family confidence.

Golden in all ways, not sharp in any way. Kick along type. Happy to pop a few fences. Good to hack alone or in company. He’s down beach rides, fun rides and lots of low level activities

No vices, quirks or medical issues.

He would suit a mother/daughter share. The ultimate confidence giver and any family will be extremely lucky to own him.

He won’t be here long. Safe horses like him are few and far between.
