JB’s Hot Shot is Fabulous jumper that was bought for my son 7 1/2 years ago.

He has taken Archie off ponies and on to horses.

He competed at the U18 National Championship at Bishop Burton CCI** on the North West team when Archie was 16 years old.

He was in the top 12 after X -country (which includes the U19 year group due to Covid).

He has more recently competed at Intermediate successfully completing at Wellington International and Farley Hall.

Archie is now busy enjoying uni and doesn’t have the time needed to compete.

A good home is very important. He would suit a mother/daughter/son share.

Lots of videos and photos are available on request.

  • Half brother to Olympic ride Don Geniro, sired by Kambarby who stands with Solaris sports horses
  • I have had him for the past 4 years during which time he has done a bit of everything!

He is perfect to shoe, catch, bath, dentist and loads on both trailers and Lorrie’s with no drama. Loves company, very happy to live in or out, very easy to manage in the stable just a really useful horse to have around.

He has done a lot of show jumping mainly at local shows. I normally enter him in at 80/90cm which is a height I feel most comfortable jumping. However with a good pilot he will be able to do 1m+ with ease. Always had good dressage scores with positive judges comments, he is also very forward and brave doing x country.

He is great out hacking, however he does prefer to be in front as he can be impatient behind. He is use to doing a lot of hacking solo with 2 dogs at his feet. The stables he is kept at is a working yard so he is not phased by diggers, bonfires, lorries and loud machinery. Frequently “borrowed” by friends to hack out with no supervision and he is a regular at the beach.

He has always been a snaffle mouthed, has excellent brakes and a lot of stamina - he loves giving my friends ex racehorse a run for his money!

Teeth, jabs, feet etc all up to date. Fit and ready to go, comes with tack and rugs. Please WhatsApp me for more details/ photos

Crafty Web (Winston) has been a successful novice event horse and showjumper. He is TB x WB with his grandfather being Louella Inschalla. He is now 18 and therefore I feel that he is looking for a lovely hacking home / lower level riding club type home, jumping up to around 80cm.

PLEASE READ THE ADVERT IN FULL before making contact. Located Trowbridge in Wiltshire, BA14. Sorry, no loans, LWVTB, offers on price or payment plans. This is a lovely horse for the money and the right home is more important than price which is why he is sensibly priced.

A proper school master who knows his job. He is an easy uncomplicated ride and is ready to come down the levels to teach someone the ropes at the lower heights and for someone who enjoys their hacking. He was evented by a professional event rider and therefore he is well schooled on the flat and can do shoulder in, leg yield, direct transitions etc and has balanced paces.

In his previous home he successfully did Tetrathlon with two teenage boys. He would make a great mother/daughter/son share and is ideal for someone looking for an older schoolmaster on a budget.

He is easy to take to shows and on the ground and does not need riding every day. You could leave him 6 months and jump straight back on and go for a hack.

I bought him nearly 2 years ago to get me back jumping after a few years off and he has done the job. I have done riding club, group clinics and lessons and some competitions at 80/90cm. He keeps a nice rhythm to a fence without being strong. I have also cross country schooled him.

I have recently had his hocks medicated for the first time to get him ready for sale after I turned him away from January to March due to lack of time. I just felt that his hocks were a little stiff on coming back into work but I have not had them X-rayed and therefore I feel he is more suited to jumping up to 80cm.

He hacks alone or in company and I lead other horses and ponies from him. He is great with buses and trucks coming past him but can spook at a crisp packet or a road sign, particulary on his own. This involves him going past with his eyes on stalks but I simply turn his head away from the object while he walks past.

He also crib bites and wears a collar although he keeps his weight on well. He is best suited to a home where he can live out most of the time. He can nip a little when doing rugs and tack but generally is a very sweet boy in the stable and loves fuss, attention and affection.

He turns out with mares and geldings in a herd or is happy out with one other. He is happy to be left on his own when my others go out hacking without him and does not stress in his stable being left alone but happily eats his hay.

He is only for sale as I have three others and I am struggling for time and therefore he does need a bit more fittening work as he is only in light work at the moment. That said, he would be ready to go out for some nice hacks and low level competing and he does not take long to get fit.

He is easy to clip, shoe and I travel and load him in an Equitrek trailer with no issues. He previously travelled and loaded well in a horsebox. He is not suitable for hunting.

Good trial facilities with school and showjumps and you are welcome to hack alone and in company.

No novices please. Although he is good he is still a competition type horse and I would prefer a balanced rider who is light in their hands.

Up to date with teeth, vaccinations, back and shoes. Tack available separately at an additional cost.

The vidoes are of me jumping small fences due to my nerves having not jumped for several years. They show that he is easy at the lower levels.

Striking 2013 Irish gelding standing at 16hh, Jet is fun, safe and talented and would make a super teenagers horse or someone who’s looking to go out and have fun.

A super hack – Jet walks out and is bold with traffic etc, he isn’t a looky sort and just wants to get on and please, will gladly go solo or in company and he doesn’t ride any different with or without other horses. Jet has three comfortable paces on the flat, we have only ridden him in a snaffle and he’s proven to be super cool and easy.

Jumping is where Jet shows his talent mostly, having done a lot of riding club activities and being a seasoned hunter, this lad excels over a fence, he’s extremely confidence giving to a fence and will just take his jockey, he doesn’t say no and he certainly doesn’t mind if you get it wrong, Jet is extremely forgiving over a fence and makes you feel like you can do it, even if you’re lacking confidence, we have jumped Jet up to 1m25 and he has the heart of a lion.

He’s a super fun allrounder and he’s fantastic in all ways, such an easy horse to have around and a super safe and uncomplicated lad to do anyone’s job.

  • A great all rounder but excels at hunting and BE
  • A horse that turns heads and is eye catching

Fantastic Piebald gelding Irish bred he is 16.1hh.  He is a been there and done it type and nearly got every T-shirt.  Very easy to do and gentle to handle.

A great all rounder but excels at hunting and BE.   14 yrs old.  A horse that turns heads and is eye catching.

I have owned him for nearly 3 years and with me he has done common rides often out with 100-200 horses behaving himself all the time.  He has attended our local riding club which has consisted of show jumping and flatwork always behaving impeccably.

I have hunted him for the past 2 seasons and he has also been hunted by other members of my family.  He enjoys being out Trail Hunting and his good manners stand out making him a pleasure to ride.   He is extremely good around hounds and very trustworthy, he goes up front with hounds or stays at the back of the field and will open and shut gates and is easy to lead off or lead.

I have started doing BE on him and was placed 4th in first BE two weeks ago and he is entered for more BE’s in the next few weeks.  I feel he will be a great confidence giver to someone starting out in BE and wishing to progress.   He jumps xc and sj with ease and looks after his rider and helps them out if needed.

He will school in a nice outline with good paces and could do a decent dressage test.  He tries his best at everything he does and enjoys a good pamper and being used.

He is good on his own or in company both out hunting and hacking.  He will live, travel and hack on his own but equally happy and mannerly in company.  He has a bold jump and will trot into to a fence when needed.

He is open to any viewing and any vetting but he will only be sold to the right home as he is a very special horse.

Location is 1 hour from Edinburgh airport.

He is competing at Penrith BE this coming Sunday 20th April.

Handsome 16.2, 14 year old Stallion (although you wouldn’t know it!)
We have never owned a stallion and were going to have him gelded when we bought him but soon found out there was absolutely no need!

Belharra (Lusitano x TB) was bought for our then 16 year old daughter to give her confidence out competing, as she was really struggling with her nerves.
They have just attended their first championship, finishing 3rd by just 0.8% from the winner!
He has done his job too well, always looking after her, and she now has the confidence to compete her youngsters so he will be looking for his new loving home.

He is good to do in every possible way, and has very flamboyant changes!
Fab to hack alone and in company.
Good to shoe, clip, load, travel and is up to date with chiro, physio, vaccs and teeth.
Does not stress if left in or out.

Trained up to Advance Medium and is the perfect schoolmaster or para dressage mount.
Minimal points as he travelled Europe as a companion…with mares too!

Bought from his breeder so has had an uncomplicated perfect life!

Homes will be scrupulously vetted.
He is a very special boy and will only be sold to the right home.

DO YOU HAVE A HORSE OR PONY SUITABLE FOR THE RDA?

WANTED ON LONG TERM LOAN / PURCHASE

Ref #: 249896
  • If you think your equine has what it takes, please contact one of the groups below
  • If you think your equine has what it takes, please contact one of the groups below

One of the main issues that RDA groups face is finding an Equine to suit the needs of the participants in their group.

We are regularly contacted with offers of Equines that are ‘the ideal RDA horse or pony’ when actually what is ideal for one group may not be for the next. We are trying to move away from the stereotypical view that RDA Equines are elderly and somewhat static, our horses and ponies need to be fit, healthy and athletic to cope with the lifestyle in an RDA group.

They can range from smaller, forward going ponies to weight carrying cobs and can take part in a range of disciplines from Riding to Carriage Driving, Vaulting to Show Jumping and Endurance.

If you contact an RDA Group about your Equine please be prepared to fill in an Equine Initial Interest Form which will ask you many questions about your horses’ temperament, health history, experience and lifestyle. Many groups will prefer to have an equine on trial to make sure they are suitable for the job.

For long term loans and purchases they will also be required to have a Pre-Purchase Examination.

If you think your equine has what it takes, please contact one of the groups below.

He won the Grand Prix Bronze medal in the 2023 MCI European Dressage Championships in France, and is currently internationally ranked in Working Equitation.

If you are looking for a Schoolmaster who can help you reach the next levels in Dressage or Working Equitation (or both), this horse will absolutely fit the bill. He's perfect for an amateur or young rider who is looking to move up the ranks.

Easy to handle on the ground, leads, loads, clips, stands for farrier, and all the things you would expect of a mature schoolmaster.

Versatile, willing and well mannered mare looking for her forever home

Ref #: 370184

  • 12 years
  • 16.1 hands

Aryia is everything you could want in a horse: vice free, pretty, talented, easy to handle/load/clip, good doer, low maintenance will live in, out and most importantly sound!

She is perfect for someone looking to:
Enjoy hacking - loads of hacking she loves it, always has her ears pricked and marches along or happy dawdling on the buckle. Great with traffic, great nanny to young horses or kids on ponies, good in open spaces, alone or in company.

Flat work and dressage - she’s training at elementary level at home, established lateral work incl shoulder in and leg yield, light in the mouth and holds a lovely consistent contact. Forward going but not strong.

Pole work and low level jumping -
She loves having things to think about and is great with pole work. She is not currently jumping and is not an easy ride to a fence - very forward and buzzy with a huge back end so would need a very competent rider to pure show jump again.

She is currently being ridden full time by a 15yo and her mother doing all of the above and she’s been great stepping down to a younger rider. Would be a great mother daughter share. Not suitable for a total novice as she is a competition horse with a bit about her (in a good way!).

Only for sale due to personal circumstances. All history known from 4yo and her old owners still keep in touch, she is very loved.

The ultimate confidence giving school master - meet Ernie

A beautiful 16.2hh, 15yo, ISH gelding - Fantastic breeding

Ernie has a superb eventing CV and knows his job inside and out

Hacks alone and in company with no issues or vices. Really bold , brave and reliable in traffic and open spaces. He could take a first timer out no problem.

A real schoolmaster in the arena! Three beautifully balanced and correct paces. Always snaffle mouthed and more of a leg in each corner type. Has well established changes installed and great success inside the white boards. Currently giving lessons to my yard girls and adored by all who sit on him

Jumps effortlessly. Skips should 1m10s with his eyes shut. Really is a a super forgiving boy and is more than happy to take a miss. A very careful chap who knows the job and will always get the rider out of trouble. Super rideable to a fence and easy to navigate around a course. The type that could take someone from trotting poles to jumping metre classes. He’s a real teacher who loves to please

Enjoys XC and fun rides! Remains his uber mannerly self in open spaces

Stands solidly at the mountain block

Excellent to shoe, bath , clip, catch, load & travel

Ernie is miserable in the stable and very possessive over his food. I believe this would be down to his lack of weight and condition when we first had him last year. Can also be seen to windsuck at feed times (really manageable with a collar and shouldn’t put anyone off) We’ve spent the winter very slowly but surely getting weight back on him and is now feeling and looking brand new

Clean legs and very sounds and straight moving

Although Ernie is push button , he is also a horse with an engine and therefore I would say is a competitive school master and would suit someone wanting a competitive horse but on a budget
