Emeracly Padraigín

Ernie is a 7 year old 14.2hh fully Registered Connemara Pony imported from Ireland about 4 years ago. His Dam is ‘ Emeracly Rose’ and sire is ‘ Lissroe Charlie’
HWSD N/N

Ernie has previously lived on a working farm so he is used to farm machinery, all livestock and dogs. Handled daily by all ages. He is loved very much by everyone who meets him.

He is 110% in all ways, his ground manners are impeccable, lives in or out. Ernie will stand quietly to be shod, bath & clip. He falls asleep whilst grooming him. You can catch him in any field and has been led from a quad. He walks straight onto horse trailer or lorry whilst travelling you cannot hear him.

Ernie has been on fun rides, clinics and local jumping shows. He is very honest and genuine pony.

Ernie adapts to any rider and is a very safe forward pony. He doesn’t need to be ridden every day. Hacks alone or in company, first or last never strong or silly and is snaffle mouth.

I’ve hacked him on busy main roads by himself, he isn’t fazed by anything. He has never bucked nor reared. I’ve had children ride and jump him and he’s never put a foot wrong.

Ernie has three flowy paces on the flat and holds himself nicely, he is a very intelligent and a quick learner. He has a natural shape over a jump and has scope to go higher. He doesn’t pull you into a jump he is a very steady pony whilst riding a course, but can step up a gear in a jump off. Previously he has successfully competed 80 & 90 unaffiliated in Showjumping with a 11 year old girl and shown scope.

Ernie has the potential to be successful in any discipline. I would love to see Ernie in a competition home as I feel that’s where he would strive.

He is never sick or sorry. Up to date with teeth and vaccinations.

This boy will only go to the best of home and someone who will be kind to him. He literally deserves the best and more.

No time wasters please as this a very hard decision that I have made.

Open to vetting.

I can provide more videos/ photos.

Gweebara Dark Lady - Available for sale from the end of Jan

Aria (8) is a bright bay Connemara Mare by Robe Dark Knight (Dark Earl) x Maheramore Dun Lady (Maheramore Richard) N/N for hoof wall.

We have owned Aria for 3 years and in that time she has done all pony club disciplines, including Home Championships and PC tethrathlon qualifying for the Spring Barrier festival in both Arena Eventing (2024) and Showjumping (2023).

Aria has jumped up to 90cm tracks with scope for higher with the right rider (has jumped 110cm at home) excels at XC and taken part and been placed in WH as well as the Interschools SJ. She had taken part in Elevate Equitation dressage camps and Arena Eventing clinics. Aria would be an excellent 2nd pony for a competitive child.

At home she is a dream, living on a busy farm yard she is excellent in heavy machinery and in traffic. She hacks on her own or with others, happy to be at the front or back. She is also excellent to clip, shoe, administer vaccinations and getting her teeth done. She is good in the stable and enjoys getting groomed and bathed.

Aria has mild sweet itch which is easily managed with a weekly bath using biteback sweet relief shampoo and a twice weekly spray of sweet relief quick sliver spray. I always keep a fly mask on her as we live beside the river and have black flys.

THE DREAM ALLROUNDER & MOTHER DAUGHTER SHARE // STUNNING, SAFE AND KIND REGISTERED CONNEMARA WITH SUPERB PRESENCE

Loving, 10* home sought for this genuine boy!

Frodo is a 15.1hh, 8 year old Registered Connemara with excellent pedigree. He has no vices, and is as honest as they come.

Frodo has done a bit of everything and has proved to be uncomplicated and willing. He hacks out alone or in company, is never phased by the heaviest of traffic nor is he strong or silly.

To school, he works in a soft outline with three established paces. He is a little green in the arena, but has progressed superbly in recent months and proves to be a quick learner. I do feel that Frodo prefers to be out hacking and exploring, and can be slightly behind the leg in the school, but he is still compliant and consistent in his flatwork nonetheless!

Frodo can be given a week off and return to work with the same sensible attitude. He’s great with the farrier, to travel, and to clip. Clean limbed and heart-achingly handsome, he also loves a fuss and will stand patiently to be groomed.

This horse oozes quality with a good amount of bone, a very traditional Connemara. He’d make the ultimate mother/daughter share, or the perfect companion for someone looking for a safe allrounder that still has serious presence - a type that is near impossible to find!

Frodo is sadly for sale due to his owner suffering a terrible skiing injury, otherwise he’d be going nowhere! Finding Frodo the best of homes is our absolute priority as he really does deserve a best friend, and enjoys affection.

Smokey is stunning over height connemara with all the attributes to be a top class show jumper / eventer he is bold as brass.

Smokey has correct confirmation with clean limbs. He's lightly handled leading ,ties up and good to catch. He has minimal handling yet in such a short time he's already come on leaps and bounds wanting to be your best friend and following you around like a dog.

I believe Smokey will make a top horse in the right hands, no novices as he's a raw youngster ready for someone to put their own stamp on.

Open to vet checks he's a very sound and healthy horse. He is n/n for hoofwall.

Registered Connemara mare. Rising 9.

We have had Breeze for just over 4 years. We bought her a a recently backed 4 year old for our then 11 year old daughter.

She has attended many PC Rallies, Camps, Dressage and SJ competitions (happiest up to about 70cm but can jump higher), unaffiliated Working Hunter classes where she has won style and performance classes, Novice showing class at Royal Cheshire County Show, farm rides and even Pony Racing training at Aintree. She takes it all in her stride.

My daughter regularly hacks her out by herself and has done pretty much since we bought her. This includes road work, bridleways and the beach.

She is snaffle mouthed.

She is up to date with vaccinations, dentist etc and is barefoot as she has excellent hooves. She was shod when we bought her but our farrier has not considered this necessary. She is N/HWSD but this is only as issue if she is to be bred.

She is good for the dentist and to clip. My daughter clips her herself.

She can be moody, will pull faces and turn her bum in the stable but has never kicked out.

She loads OK. We have a trailer but she has also been boxed.

We live on a working farm so she is used to farm machinery and tractors, and cows, living out quite happily with them on occasions!

She is very sadly looking for a new home as my daughter has outgrown her.

We love her to bits and would wish to stay in touch. Five * home wanted.

Please message in first instance as I can’t always answer my phone.

He has done plenty of XC schooling in Ireland and has competed in 80/90cm ODEs - happily jumping BE90/100 fences with us with to go on. He has also hunted in Ireland.

Whitley Village Opal - Super Family/Pony Club/ Riding Club Pony - One in a Million

  • Suited to PC/RC/Family Home

Connemara Dun Mare - 14 hands - 12 years old (13 on 26th April).

For sale or potential lease (from either a yard near to Bury St Edmunds (where our other horse is) or a 5* home - open to explore all option s).

We have had Opal since 2018 where she became our first family pony. My daughter had only ridden at a riding school beforehand - she was 10 years old and Opal was 6. She attended various camps, PC rallies and competitions often in the placings and attended several championships. She's been to the beach, hunting, PC camps etc and there is genuinely nothing this pony couldn't put her hoof to. After 2 and a half years when my daughter moved onto horses, Opal became my son's pony (having never ridden before) and he also attended PC/RC and camps with her but sadly he too outgrew her too quickly! She has since been loaned to a local family for the last two years. Their son is now moving onto horses so I’m tentatively looking for a home for her. I’m in no rush and want to find her only the best home where she will stay for a long time (hopefully forever). Ideally I would want first refusal if she’s sold on, as we adore her and ultimately just couldn’t bear the idea of her being somewhere she wasn’t adored in her later life.

Opal has competed up to 90/1m with the family she was last with. I feel that’s her max and so wouldn’t want her in a super competitive BS home who would want to jump higher. She is forward but safe and I would love to find a Pony Club/Riding Club home for her where she can do a bit of everything. She does like to be busy and out and about and I would adore to see her doing this. Price wise, if she was sold, I’m looking for around £12k but home definitely more important and I’m open to a trial if it was a good fit enough to explore further. She's never been sick or sorry, is up to date with everything health wise. She’s been to Woodland Camp and PC camp many times and safe to hack out on road etc. There are numerous videos online on my daughters Instagram account at marcher.eq (go back a couple of years) and my son's ollie_and_opie and opal.fruit. I also have some recent ones I can send on whatsapp of her with her recent jockey and that family are happy to provide references along with my friend's daughter who competed her at Houghton Hall when Opal stood in for pony at short notice. Good to do in all ways, a child can load her, pick her feet out and lead her in etc.

Opal is a very busy pony, competitive and forward so wouldn't suit a nervous rider. That said many nervous riders have ridden her (including my friend's 18 month old) and she plodded around on the leadrope contently. Her flat work isn't the best but she can go nicely with regular work on that aspect.

She loves to jump both XC and SJ and has a small BS record which can be viewed online. Ultimately I'm looking for an active Riding Club/Pony Club home. She has competed at Houghton Hall, RC Champs at Aston Le Walls, RC Champs Lincs, Arena UK, Suffolk Equestrian Centre, Poplar Park and many more.

She is up to date with vaccinations, dentist etc and is shod in front only at the moment but has been shod behind previously. She loves to be clipped and a child could clip her! She has never been sick or sorry but she does get a tiny bit snotty when she is in the stable in evenings over winter. I have a vet letter to confirm this is nothing concerning as I needed it when I moved to my current yard. No medical issues and happy to provide vet history and open to any vetting.

Opal is a much loved part of our family and so will only to go a 5* home.

I'd appreciate an email in the first instance to archerliz@hotmail.co.uk, telling us a bit about yourself and the home you could offer and also a bit about the potential rider/riders

Aka Ollie Full up 14.2hh 11yr Connemara. Ollie would suit a home as an allrounder doing a bit of everything.

I have owned Ollie for over 3 years and he has given me endless confidence and fun. He has previously competed up to 1.10m BS with me but has proved more comfortable stepping down to 80cm - 90cm and would would suit a more varied life going forward.

He has Numerous wins and top 3 placings at 80cm - 1m. He is generally consistent doesn’t stop and will happily take a miss for his rider - he is a forgiving horse. He has also qualified for blue chip and nationals classes a handful of times and is a proven competition pony, which makes him perfect for giving someone confidence or someone who is just looking to have fun.

He has competed in dressage up to prelim and has had promising feedback and results from judges, so even though I have mainly focused on showjumping he is more than capable of doing more dressage.

Ollie has also been cross country schooling a few times and proved to be brave and jump everything put in front of him demonstrating that he is the ideal type for an allrounder.

Ollie is good to shoe, clip, load, handle, Hack on his own or in company (good in traffic). Would suit a teenager/ small adult as can be grumpy in his stable around his food but as soon as he is being handled he’s absolutely fine.

Unfortunately he is being sold due to me having a lack of time being in my GCSE year and also bringing on a youngster. Strictly No dealers, no novices as he is a forward ride. He is only going to a 5 star home where someone will love and have as much fun with him as I’ve have had. High 4 figs although home more important than price.

Wanted genuine kind allrounder for experienced, ridden all her life mum to do riding club clinics, xc schooling and hack out sensibly with children and ponies around our quiet country tracks and lanes. Must be able to confidently hack alone on occasion and not mind the odd day off.

Will also be for my confident, competent daughter to compete at sj, xc etc and do more exciting things. So must enjoy jumping and be fairly genuine to a fence. It will be a fun varied life.

We keep our horses at our home in lovely indoor stables with great turnout. They want for nothing and are a very much loved part of our family. We would prefer if the horse was privately owned and known fairly well. This will be a forever home so we would like to get the right match.

Will consider quirks, blemishes etc if disclosed and can be managed. Also something older that needs to step down or slightly younger with a genuine outlook. Happy to wait if you are not quite ready to move your horse on yet. Would consider sale, loan or lease. Our Email is bluemoon3218@hotmail.com or ring/text number

Over height registered Dun Connemara. Bought over from Ireland as a three year old and produced slowly.

This pony is an absolute dream to have on the yard and will make a fantastic mother/daughter share.

Hacks out along and in company and use to busy farm machinery.

Has been hunting on many occasions and took a novice child to their first hunt meet.

Ridden by nervous children in open spaces and has never put a foot wrong.

He has xc schooled and jumped over coloured poles.

He makes a nice shape with his flat work and I am sure he will excel in the show ring.

He is good to do in all ways and is a lovely character.

Lovely lady owner or family home is sought for our much loved Tango. We bought Tango as an un-started 4 year old, have done everything ourselves quietly and given him lots of time to grow and mature, so he is physically very strong and sound, and low mileage for his age.

He works very correctly on the flat and always tries to please, his dressage is established at Novice level and he is ready to go and do some Elementaries now, if dressage is your bag. He would easily train up the levels and the judges love him. His colour is extremely eye catching too. He has been well placed at the BD Associated champs, BRC Dressage qualifiers and champs, and Trailblazers. I have deliberately kept his BD outings minimal as he would easily gain too many points to remain eligible for the "fun stuff" that we like to do.

We never planned to sell Tango therefore I didn't do any jumping until he turned 7 (last year) so that he had finished growing as I don't believe in jumping horses on young legs! He does love to jump and will happily pop round 80 and 90 tracks, he has the ability to do much more as he he gains experience and confidence. He has completed a couple of baby one day events and been excellent, placing second at each, and also done a bit of unaffiliated show jumping. I have done many show jumping and xc clinics with him last summer so it wouldn't take much effort to get him out eventing etc. He would also be plenty smart enough to do working hunter classes.

This is a sad sale due to lack of time and our circumstances so he will only go to the best home we can find, or stay with us and take some time off, as he is one in a million.

14.2hh grey gelding. Registered Connemara. No vices, clean limbs

This gorgeous boy, so kind and caring. Genuine and fun. He jumps for fun. Hacks alone or in company and I lead from him also with another horse often. Seen all traffic / farm animals / heavy traffic / motorway bridge etc etc Not strong or exitable in open spaces.

Jumps for fun, has been out with the hounds, cross country schooling, Hunter trial, clinics, Eventer training day etc etc he's been out and about lots and now ready to get out competing properly.

He has not been rushed, or pushed and has had the correct training and education to now go on and succeed!

He can be left weeks and you can get straight back on.

Very kind and sweet on the ground. Polite boy. I would love to see him grassroutes eventing, equally he would be a lovely mother daughter share.

He deserves the best home.

Good to do in all ways, farrier, clip, load, etc etc

Lovely clean limbed model of a competition pony with Cruising Bloodlines. Currently jumping Newcomers with 2 Double Clears for 2025, out jumping Foxhunter. Easily has scope for Foxhunter second rounds. She is brave with loads of stride.

Previously evented to BE100 as a 6yr old. We bought her to event but feel she is more suited to showjumping as she doesn't enjoy dressage. Only for sale due to not having time to do both disciplines properly.

Good to load and in traffic.

Good to shoe, clip and dentist. Up to date with vaccinations and teeth. She has a lovely temperament in the stable.

We think a lot of this mare so will only be sold to the best of homes.

Clean set of x-rays.

Bobby

5 year old (2020)

160cm/15.3HH

NN~hoofwall

Bobby is a true gentleman in every way a perfect family share pony.

With his size and his traditional heavy boned Connemara build there isn’t a task he can’t take on !

Hunting - Bobby has been hunting with the well known Galway blazers and proven himself to be well capable to be up the front of the field or to wait at back of the field

Cross country - Bobby has great experience at cross country and takes it all in at ease with his massive stride that covers ground jumping some fences at a height of 120cm with his scope and stride would have an exceptional eventing prospect

Treking

Bobby has been brought up on a livestock farm.
So any machinery or livestock won’t phase him in the slightest.
He will hack out road ways/lane ways & fields alone or with company

Showjumping - Bobby has been at indoor& outdoor training shows with him taking it all with ease nothing phases him

Yard duties - Bobby is a pleasure to do anything with never steps out of place easy to shoe/Load/Clip/catch/brush
