The 7 year old Connemara gelding by the prolific Connemara performance stallion, I Love You Melody.

We bought him from Ireland on December 2022. Slowly and carefully produced correctly by a 14 year old girl. He was competed successfully on the junior BS circuit but unfortunately grew too big and is now measuring 154cm with shoes and is still filling out.

He’s has competed in unaffiliated dressage,fun rides, showjumping and he’s competed up to newcomers (1m) BS junior. In 2024 he qualified for the British Novice final at National championships with my 13 year old daughter aswell as jumping on the 90cm academy teams. He also competed BN senior and makes the distances with ease. He always jumps, will go off any stride and is always forgiving if you miss.

He has 3 lovely flowing paces and is established on the flat and has an understanding of lateral work.

He is a forward going fun ride but never strong or silly and snaffled mouthed at all times. He does sometimes put an excited cheeky buck in so would not be suited for a novice ride.

He is good to catch, load, clip but can be abit sensitive with the farrier, but once he gets to know the farrier he is fine. He is also up to date with vaccinations,physio,farrier,worming

Hacks out alone or in company and is fine with traffic.

He would make a fantastic all rounder, pony club horse or working hunter 153cm.

Clean limbed with no blemishes.

He does make a slight noise breathing when cantering hence the price but it never affects his performance.

Qualified for Britsh Novice & Discovery second rounds 2025, JFS 90cm, Bluechip Novice & Discovery.

Established flat work in walk, trot and canter with auto changes. Forward going to a fence, careful and never spooky with no filler a problem. Honest to a fence and goes off most strides.

Has done XC with previous owner around BE 100 tracks with ease, however XC is not our thing.

Hacks out alone or company and is great in the heaviest of traffic and farm machinery.

She is great to handle on the ground and in the stable. Loads and travels like a dream in a wagon or trailer.

She would be suited to a confident junior rider, she can be a little sensitive to the leg and forward going so not for a novice rider as a first pony.

Great second rounder contender and bronze league pony. She will definitely go up through the levels quickly.

Everything to date worming, farrier, physio, shoes (only shod in front).

Lloyd has been the centre of our world for 4 years, but reluctantly it is now time to let him put a smile on somebody else's face.

We have done pretty much everything with Lloyd and my daughter has made great progress having fun with him.

We have frequently attended PC/RC rallies and clinics in dressage, pole work, SJ, XC, Arena Eventing. He has represented our PC in all disciplines and qualified for Regional Championships in Dressage grassroots, SJ, Eventing, Arena Eventing all at 70/80cm. He has qualified for RC championships in Dressage, Eventing and Combined Challenge 80cm.

Lloyd loves PC camp, he revels in all the food and attention! He settles when staying away at camp or competitions, is a kind companion and easy to handle.

Although we have not done lots of hunting, (previous home hunted and are happy to be contacted), he has been a superstar when we have taken him, jumping anything asked of him, extremely well mannered, will follow or lead. Brilliant with hounds, they can walk under him and he does not flinch.

Absolute gentleman to handle, shoe, clip, box, catch, travel etc and will stand all day at a show. Very good in traffic hacks confidently alone or in a group, never silly.

Lloyd has been very well cared for, regular dentist checks, physio, winky washed, well schooled, had saddle fitter, we are looking for a home that can keep him in the manner in which he is accustomed, he will reward you with love and loads of fun! We would like to keep in touch with his new owners.

Sadly outgrown as my daughter has moved on to a new horse.

Bobby is an experienced and eye catching Connemara gelding who we have owned for 2 fantastic years. During this time he has taught my daughter so much, given her many amazing experiences and made her into a confident and competitive rider.

He really enjoys taking part in Pony club rallies/training/tests/camps and represented his branch in Show jumping and eventing teams (PC70 and PC80). He has qualified and been placed at area and regional championships and has numerous wins and placings in PC competitions, unaffiliated SJ and arena events at 70,80,90. Bobby has competed BE 80/90. Bobby has many wins and placings at NSEA JWS and SJ competitions and has qualified numerous times for the national championships.

He is hacked alone and in company round our farm and is used to quiet road traffic, lorries, farm machinery.

Bobby is a forward going competition pony.
He is not suitable for a nervous rider, he needs a quiet, relaxed rider who is willing to build a partnership with him and wants to have fun competing.

He loves to compete in SJ, arena events, PC eventing, BE, XC. Lovely pony for mother/daughter or son to share.

Bobby is a delight to handle on the ground, in the stable, bath, shoe, clip, catch, load, and travel.

He likes a routine of being turned out in the field through the day and stabled at night.

Bobby has equine asthma which is easily managed with dust free bedding, haylage or soaked hay and regular turnout. This is reflected in his price and hasn’t bothered him in the two years we have owned him. He is currently in work and ready to go for the season ahead.

Bobby is a dearly loved pony who is only being sold because teenage rider is far too tall for him now and the time has come to find him a new rider to have fun with.
