Heartbreaking sale of our much loved pony - ‘NORDY TINKERBELL’

2013 122cm
Dam: Trellech Elfin
Sire: Fairley Kestrel

Tink is a top class lead rein show pony with exceptional breeding who has looked after our little girl taking her safely round the biggest and buzziest county shows.

Due to our family arrangements, we have unfortunately not been able to make a lot of the qualifiers.

Tinkerbell has been placed at HOYS (twice) and is a true to type, out and out lead rein pony. She is absolutely beautiful.

This season we did only a small number of RI qualifiers and narrowly missed out on a ticket with a 2nd and a 3rd.

BSPS Champs 2024 only few weeks ago in August, Tinkerbell was placed in the top 6 rosettes in 2 big classes against HOYS qualified ponies.

Stoneleigh earlier this month she was placed in the last HOYS qualifier of the season.

Tinkerbell is a pleasure to lead and will carry a small child safely and knows her job inside out.

Sadly for sale due to our daughter being well and truely off the lead and wanting to jump the junior workers next season.

Tinkerbell is now enjoying a well deserved holiday at home in Herefordshire. She is a sweetheart who deserves a 5* home where she will be loved.

She will only go to an experienced showing home as she still has so much to give and many memories to make with another little jockey at top level. We believe she would qualify for RI and HOYS again or win STARS with ease.

Genuine enquiries only please as this is a really hard decision.

Josie is a gorgeous 7yo CHAPS registered cob. 3 balanced paces and loves to jump.

Good to catch, load, vet, farrier, clip (although not overly keen around her head). Up to date with teeth and vaccinations. Barefoot. Turns out with mares or geldings.

Has attended pony club and local shows and has also spent approximately 3 years in a riding school. She is a superstar of a pony who is looking for a family home where she will be adored by her own personal human and hopefully passed onto younger siblings. She is your ultimate pony club dream pony.

Had sweet itch when we bought her but this has quickly been managed with a rug and zero flyz. Please do not message if you are not willing to cover her up and make her comfortable during fly season. The sweet itch has been reflected in her price.

Josie is the type of pony hard to find, steps up or down as per the ability of her rider, will trot over poles with a novice or fly over bigger fences with a more able jockey.

Indie has lovingly been my daughters best friend for the last 2 years. We’re now tentatively looking for her new home as my daughter begins to advance in her competitive riding.

She is in her element hacking, where she is constantly safe, easy going and a fun companion. She is comfortable throughout woodland, on road and passing farm animals. I have been able to let her take my daughter from the age of 9 and her novice younger brother too, out hacking with never a fear she will spook or be silly.

She is unflappable around yard machinery, dogs and other ponies having a stroppy moment.

Whilst out hacking, she loves being asked to jump a log, canter through a field, so has great potential to be a great hunter or cross country pony, but we’ve not yet tested that out extensively.

We have done various showing competitions and due to her striking colouring, she always brings home the rosettes. This year she qualified for Sunshine Tours Prettiest Mare and Coloured in Hand.

Whilst my daughter has jumped in the school with Indie, schooling is the one area she does not overly enjoy and where we have seen any resistance from Indie. Our trainer has managed to push through this with Indie and can school her with no issues, but she would need a strong confident young adult to excel from a life in the school arena.

She is a dream to groom and will stand for hours to be fussed. Kindly picks her feet up and is confidently caught in the field by young daughter.

Up to date with vaccinations, farrier regularly attends (she is barefoot), worming and dentist. She was five* vetted when we bought her 2 years ago, including clean X-rays on her feet. She has no experience of laminitis.

She was showing some heat in her SI when she first came to us, so was injected there. However this has not reoccurred and no sign of needing treatment again.

Searching for a 5* home for Indie.

  • 14hh piebald coloured native mare 15 yrs

Lola is a cracking fun pony who we sold 7 years ago from a pony club/showing home so know her well. She has had two homes since, the first being an active pony club child who had her for 4 years and did everything.

She was then moved on to a small adult who has had her as their fun pony and mainly hacked and done sponsored rides but has now decided that it’s time to hang up her boots and Lola is too good to not do a job. She is an active pony who thrives on work, she loves to have a job to do. She works beautifully on the flat and could easily go and do some dressage or coloured showing.

She was shown in hand and under saddle as a younger pony and did well. She is a well schooled ride and will go according to her rider, with someone capable she will step out nicely but happy to dumb down a bit for a novice.

Lola enjoys her jumping and will happily pop round 70 cm both SJ and XC. Previously we did a bit of everything with her, hunted her well and she was a good girl. She loves going to parties, clinics etc. She loves her hacking both alone and in company and is good in traffic. Currently dressed as a coloured native but is equally smart pulled and trimmed up.

Perfect to catch, box, clip, feet trim ( barefoot never been shod). Her only downside is that she can be a little rude on the floor, likes to drag her handler off if she thinks that there’s a better option. This improves greatly once she’s settled and in a good routine and knows her place. She also gets less rude the more work she does! For this reason she wouldn’t suit a total novice. She’s no killer though! She needs to go to an active home who will have fun with her.

150cm piebald mare. She is a great big mover who catches the eye. She is well educated and schooled. Forward going but always mannerly and professional in every way.

She is a very smart stamp who without doubt has strong potential to do well in the RIHS/HOYS Native classes.

She has been brought on over the summer going to three shows always in the top two and two reserve championships. She has received excellent feedback from judges and has filled out into her frame during this time. She’s sure to have a future in the showring or equally as good doing dressage.

Bounty is also a super all-rounder who has jumped around courses of show jumps up to 90cm confidently. She is brave into any type of fence, fillers, water trays, etc. She has done some cross-country and been around a novice teamchase.

Hacks alone or in company around open fields & roads, good in all types of traffic & farm machinery.

She lives in or out. Happily on her own.

No vices or blemishes. Does gates, rides & leads. Good to shoe, travel and load in box or trailer.

CHAPS registered. Up to date with flu, teeth, worming, physio, farrier, etc.

Top class native / Coloured Junior

Palomino & white

Irish cob x Welsh section D (by Tresorya Llwyn Sullien)

Frank is upto height 14.2hh

We bred Frank ourselves he was professionally broken by James Knight turned away for a few months after he then went to his first show for a look where he behaved impeccably. He has since been to two shows winning both his novice classes qualifying for CHAPS & reserve champion novice.

Totally unspoilt. Completely wasted definite front line HOYS /RI prospect or affiliated dressage frank would also make a lovely driving cob as he is very versatile!

Franks mum & dad were both super rude & drives who also did horse drawn weddings. Sadly we just don’t have time for him and he is wasted. videos available.

Frank is a lovely , kind boy who enjoys his work. He is good to catch , load , bath , Frank travels really well he is easy at shows , Frank is good for the farrier etc. He is very loving enjoys a fuss.

Frank is genuinely green to ride but very willing boy who listens he is a very light & responsive ride he rides more like a show hack!

Sadly for sale due to lack of time for him. No novices , time wasters or video collectors please!!!
