Little introduction needed - Durley Hall Medici. 128 cm FEI measured JA, 15 yr old Top track gold league pony

Heartbreaking sale of our beloved pony Joey, who wins everyone’s hearts over! Originally a very small 138cm we purchased Joey in 2022 as a first pony for our son who was a complete novice from pony club/lead rein level to start unaffiliated with. With a glittering history with previous owners we didn’t hesitate and what an amazing journey we have been on, now he is ready to do that again with another small jockey!

Starting out through the stepping stones level, we quickly collected numerous clears and placings and slowly progressed through the levels to win our first major Grand Prix at South View in the 11 & unders where we realised this pony is going to be very special! Never coming home without a rosette, we went onto winning the Onley grounds 138 cm Grand Prix in the winter with him before down measuring him with ease as a 128cm pony. That season we stepped up another level with a relatively novice jockey still and won the winter royal international qualifier at Onley indoors to qualify for the final, going clear all 3 rounds!

Consistently jumped the HOYS qualifiers all year for such an unlucky 4 faults again through nerves from the rider and learning at this level but this pony always went through the start and finish, and this was a decent score given the tough tracks throughout the summer premiers. We eventually gained our HOYS 2024 ticket .

At HOYS Joey was amazing he went clear and into the jump off in both his and Freddie’s debut at HOYS, couldn’t have asked for a better pony to experience it all with. Qualified for London Interantional Horse Show December 2024.

Selected for England home pony teams 2024 jumping 2 x double clear, getting his jockey his England badge.

So many people can vouch for this pony who jumps out of pure heart for the job, very sound and correct and enjoys being a normal pony hacking through the forest. Not a mad type and will educate the smallest of jockeys the ranks of British showjumping. Honest, kind and straightforward ride. Quick in a jump off and loves to be competitive! Always aims to help his riders out and just a pure pleasure to take out and own.

The easiest, bravest , 148 pony on the BS circuit. Talk about help you out, Smokey jumped a treble at his first Hoys qualifier completely alone!
Don’t take my word for it, the proofs on clip my horse..
He literally puts his own bit in he loves the job that much.
We can only sell this one in a million the first time and we’ll make sure we find him an exceptional home.

He’s got another 10 years at the top, we are the first family to have had the privilege of the large pony BS classes with him.

Reuben didn’t start riding till 2021 and Smokey’s given him a showjumping childhood, teaching him, and helping him out show after show culminating in the pony foxhunter championship at Hoys this year.
It was an awesome achievement, a child who’d not jumped 12.2, and 13.2’s getting to HOYS , and it was purely as we had the right pony in Smokey for an amateur.
He has not got a stop in him, neither has he ever spooked. He’s simply a war horse you’d want in the trenches with you.

And if you can afford him he’s the ONLY pony you’d want your precious child riding, safety wise.

He hacks out like 10 men, striding out but never flinching, been proven to jump the highest hedge out hunting in Ireland before we got him at 7.
Reuben’s had the best mentor in his trainer and Smokey has always been kept with that trainer.
That’s resulted in the pony benefitting from his many years producing top BS ponies.

His expert tuition, 100’s of hours on the flat means Smokey’s incredibly well schooled, and thanks to him has never been mis managed, over jumped or neglected care wise through ignorance.
He’s got it all , if you wanted to do a working Hunter as a variation to BS you’d win.

But Smokey’s true superpower is the turning on a sixpence after a fence and before . He can do the lines others can’t.
He’ll jump from two strides out, off any stride. He’s incredibly talented but lots are, he’s combined that with a heart of a lion and a “I’ve got this, let me at it attitude” I could write reams on him. And ALL of it only good.

The advert we never thought we would be writing so soon but my daughter has just massively outgrown her.

This pony needs no introduction, undoubtedly one of, if not the best, U10s pony on the circuit. She has taught so many top kids over the years and took them to the top. She will not only bring your child home safely, she will win the class aswell. She took my daughter from jumping Xpoles in a riding school to jumping at BS pony premiers up and down the country within 4 months. She will jump double clear stepping stones and spring boards all day long. She always helps the kids out and will turn on a sixpence

When we bought her she stepped right down for the kids and would happily trot round a course of cross poles and would never get strong or silly. My 3 year old son rides her round on lead rein and she absolutely adores the little ones.

Fudge is perfect to load, travel, clip and bath, hack alone or in company. The kids go off hacking for hours on their own and gallop and jump through the fields and she would never put a foot wrong. My children do everything with her on their own and I trust her 100%. She’s got such a personality, she never fails to make us laugh. Shes forever in your pockets for polos, or giving the kids kisses.

She’s completely sound and open to vet, she has been looked after like an egg in a cake and never over jumped. She’s up to date with everything. Don’t let her age put you off, she looks and acts like a 10 year old jumping pony. She’s as fit as fire are rareing to go.

He's good to clip, shoe, literally everything. He's up to date with all jabs, teeth, chiro. He has tought my daughter everything and took her up the levels, competing at bs up to 90cm.

He could easily drop back down the levels to bring the next child along. He would make a lovely pony club pony and can easily win anything up to 90.

My daughter has moved up to bigger jumping ponies now so sadly he has to go to help and be loved by a new family.

He would be a great pony club pony to teach your child and progress. He loves to hack and cross country. He is very safe.

He's had no issues since we've owned him and our full vetinary history is available for you to view if you wish.

Daisy has all the talent and scope in the world, offering a real chance for a talented young jockey to buy a pony with the ability to take them to HOYS/Hickstead/Home Pony Teams 138’s etc at a fraction of the cost.

Sadly my daughter is out of 138’s so the pony is up for sale, at a price that will reflect the lack of record over the last year, ideal for a competent jockey that wants to grow in their 138 journey.

The pony has previous record in 2023 up to 1.10, videos available on clipmyhorse or via whatsapp, with scope for a lot more success, but for different reasons things just haven’t worked out better over the last couple of years.

Daisy enjoys hacking, loads and travels well, good in stable/handling/shoeing/clipping. She does windsuck but wears collar and we have found this easy to manage.

Skippy is the perfect pony club pony.

He enjoys a varied life and there is nothing that he cannot do well. You name it; he's done it: SJ, eventing, dressage, hunting, XC, PC endurance champs, beach rides, swimming in the sea, fun rides, PC camp, Somerford park camp.

This super pony loves to jump. He has numerous BS wins up to Newcomers with £380 BS winnings. Qualified for the Discovery 2nd rounds in December 2023 and was the 138 silver league silver medal winner October 23-March 24. He will take you to a fence but is not strong or silly. Can be fast against the clock if you want to be competitive. He won both the 70cm and the 80cm ACE qualifiers at his last competition a couple of weeks ago.

He is not being sold as a pure SJ pony as I feel that he enjoys a more varied lifestyle.

He is a pleasure to own and is good in every way. Fully up to date with vaccinations, teeth, worming etc. with no known health issues. He is currently barefoot, but was shod for the PC endurance championships in 2022, where he came 2nd and achieved a grade 1. He hacks alone and in company and will go first or last in a group.

No vices. Forwards and fun but not silly or strong. Will not buck or rear. Good in every way

There is nothing this pony cannot turn his hoof too, he's done it all.
