Little introduction needed - Durley Hall Medici. 128 cm JA, 15 yr old Top track gold league pony

Heartbreaking sale of our beloved pony Joey, who wins everyone hearts over! We purchased Joey in 2022 as a first pony for our son who was a complete novice from pony club/lead rein level to start unaffiliated with. With a glittering history with previous owners we didn’t hesitate and what an amazing journey we have been on, now he is ready to do that again with another small jockey!

Starting out through the stepping stones level, we quickly collected numerous clears and placings and slowly progressed through the levels to win our first major Grand Prix at South View in the 11&unders final where we realised this pony is going to be very special! Never coming home without a rosette, we went onto winning the Onley grounds Grand Prix in the winter . That season we stepped up another level with a relatively novice jockey still and won the winter royal international qualifier at Onley indoors to qualify for the final, going clear all 3 rounds!

Consistently jumped the HOYS qualifiers all year for such an unlucky 4 faults again through nerves from the rider and learning at this level but this pony always went through the start and finish, and this was a decent score given the tough tracks throughout the summer premiers. We eventually gained our HOYS 2024 ticket .

At HOYS Joey was amazing he went clear and into the jump off in both his and Freddie debut at HOYS, couldn’t have asked for a better pony to experience it all with. Qualified for London Interantional Horse Show December 2024.

Selected for England home pony teams 2024 jumping 2 x double clear, getting his jockey his England badge.

So many people can vouch for this pony who jumps out of pure heart for the job, very sound and correct and enjoys being a normal pony hacking through the forest. Not a mad type and will educate the smallest of jockeys the ranks of British showjumping. Honest, kind and straightforward ride. Quick in a jump off and loves to be competitive! Always aims to help his riders out and just a pure pleasure to take out and own.

The coolest pony in Town

Bondi is an absolute mother’s dream roughly 13.2 and 6 years old Gelding.

He is as safe as houses and super safe. He has been ridden and done everything with my just turned 9 year old daughter who is incredibly tall for her age ( like a 12
Years olds height ) and she doesn’t look tall on him, always keeping her safe and with the biggest smile. He was purchased last year as my daughter’s Event pony had an injury so he was to keep her in the saddle but her other pony is fully better now hence why Bondi is very sadly up for sale. My daughter loves him to bits but finances and circumstances mean we can’t keep him as well. He is a lovely all round pony club pony or will equally be a higher end competition pony as he can Event and SJ very well and is not a spooky type at all to a fence and takes you nicely. Would also be an awesome Tetrathlon pony as he loves his XC.

Bondi has done so much with us and qualified for Hickstead NSEA (schools) SJ in the winning team, been in working Hunter classes, did the PC Dressage championships qualifier in the PC 80 test impeccably in a full blown storm with horizontal rain and wind and was as good as gold. He has been to ODE, SJ shows, pc shows and always brings home rosettes and smiles. He has done loads of PC rallies and lessons and often is on the school run in the trailer waiting for my daughter to come out and then off to a lesson.

He is beautifully off the leg so not kick , kick and is snaffle mouthed and will always stop when asked. He is not a plod but not crazy, just nicely where a pony should be. You can jump on him bare back in the field and canter in with just a headcollar on.

We have millions of videos at comps , open fields , hacking, SJ and this will have to be sent via WhatsApp as we have so many Videos’s. He is super safe in all ways including open fields and spaces and often is ridden and schooled in open fields in the summer. He stands politely when talking and waiting in groups. Has never bucked , reared or napped and is the sort you can leave for a week and just jump straight back on. He is bare foot so super cheap to run but would be fine with shoes if needed but he has great feet and super hardy. An angel to clip , stands for hours to be fussed and happily lives in or out and in a mixed herd.

If you want a guaranteed smile with a pony who is not spooky or a stopper and is brave , he is for you. He also loves XC and this pony has a brilliant jump , yet will step down to 40cm if needed.

He rides and leads out hacking, hacks alone or in company and when my daughter is at school sometimes I will hack him and I’m 5ft 9 and he takes my leg fine and I don’t look that big on him.

Up to date with teeth, working and vaccinations. A

Super home is the most important to us for him to be someone else’s best friend

Pure bred Connemara mare 10 years old full up and rides bigger but with the benefit of a 138 AHC

This pony has done literally everything for my daughter, bringing her from local pony club level to competing and winning at regional and national levels across a wide range of disciplines, including:

  • Showing – winning at County and winning and placing at National level including placing in the top 8 at The Royal International Open 143 Show Hunter Pony 2023 (highest placed amateur produced), qualifying for 148 Performance Pony at The London International and Pretty Polly Mixed Height Show Hunter Pony at The Royal International.
  • Show Jumping – regularly competing and clear at 80 and 90cm classes in both Pony Club and Unaffiliated classes. Won 100cm PC SJ class at Bury Farm in last two weeks.
  • Eventing – placing top 3 and double clear at PC grassroots ODEs in 2023 and placing in top 6 at Eastern Regional Championships.
  • Working Hunter – clear and placing in top 5 at BSPS Summer Championship Novice Plaited 143 2023, top Junior 100cm Training Stakes at BSPS Winter Championships 2024, 2nd at RI Open Plaited Working Hunter qualifiers 2024 and winning Novice M&M 143cm class at NPS Summer Championships 2024.

We have also taken this pony on hound exercise and hunting in a snaffle and taken her pony racing at Lingfield Park. She placed at the NPS Arena Eventing 90cm qualifier at the Summer Championships qualifying for the national final of this event. Her past owners did a lot of dressage with her and qualified for Pony Club Nationals but my daughter isn’t that interested in pure dressage. She has been to plenty of Pony Club events and camp. She is easy to ride in an outline, has brakes and only needs the briefest warm ups at events. She is only for sale because my daughter’s priorities have changed and she has her hands full.

Beyond these results she is a completely safe pony; the most novice rider can be out on her but she can change up the gears for more experienced and forward riders. She hacks out in company or alone, goes first or last and is dependable in traffic and open fields. She is easy to clip, shoe, plait and wash and good for the dentist and vet. She is never sick or sorry. She is good in the stable and is a dream at stay away shows. She loads easily and travels quietly, standing on the lorry all day and other horses can be taken away without a problem. Almost whole life history known.

The downsides of the pony are minor: she’s not particularly cuddly and, although she can be affectionate, it’s on her terms. We turn her out a lot and I think she’s better in a quiet environment. We have a lot of stallions on the yard and have put her on regumate during our season which I think has helped chill her out and would recommend continuing. She also has a typical “fleshy” Connemara lip so we change her bit quite regularly and only use a fixed or sleeved bit.

We are looking for an alrounder: PC /dressage, showing / jumping / hacking.

My 11 year old Daugther is rapidly outgrowing her finely built 13h pony who has been an absolute dream. We are looking for the similar type- just bigger. Rider currently jumping 60cm.

My daughter loves her dressage - she is an active PC member but loves her lessons most and building a partnership. She qualified for PC dressage regionals this year and was excited about doing a sleepover with her pony as well as the competition itself.

She hasn’t got the will for speed / BS - She would prefer a steady / accurate clear round. Having said this she does jump regularly and enjoys XC / beach rides / sponsored rides.

She is a disciplined rider and enjoys caring for her pony eg enjoys fussing over them and is often found in a stable sitting / cuddling her pony.

Pony needs to be able to cope with dropping back a bit and teaching the rider the ropes.

A genuine and forgiving pony would be ideal. Nothing sharp or very strong.

Mannerly on the ground so she can continue to handle her pony herself - bath / load etc

Pony to have experience at all the things we want to do with him / her.

Must be safe in open spaces - we have endless off road open hacking at home.

Pony would live a wholesome life on our farm in Kent. We have wonderful hacking and enjoy spending hours riding out together.

We are an Amateur but experienced home. Our ponies want for nothing - we are happy to provide references as a home from PC, DC, various instructors, physio, dentist, farrier etc

We are at the very start of our search - and are in no rush. So if you are not ready to part with your pony just yet we can be flexible on timing for the right one as we want to keep current pony for winter dressage.

Clears 1.10m regularly with my daughter, comfortable at 85cm on a course.

Lovely to ride, with a smooth rocking horse action.

Good to shoe, box, clip, hack, and catch. Used to dogs and farm machinery.

Piper is an ideal second pony, he's your typical cheeky welsh so better suited to an experienced child, teen or small adult. A real pocket rocket, he's ready to excel with a new rider who wants to have fun and try everything.

Our daughter has sadly lost interest, so we're looking for the best home for Piper and one where he'll be loved and have plenty to do. This is a very sad sale and only the best home will be considered.

My youngest daughter was only just 9 when she got Bambi who has given her the world and more!

We want to see our gorgeous Bambi out & about teaching another jockey the ropes. She loves her job, She winnie’s as soon as the lorry opens & loads herself.
Excellent traveller alone or in company , doesn’t change at stay away shows she is so so easy, good to shoe, teeth, vaccinate. She is fully shod.

Bambi is a full up 13.2 chestnut mare 19 years old & no veterinary history or exclusions on her insurance policy which can be transferred to new owner. She doesn’t act her age so don’t let that put you off as she is fit & ready to go ! Full vet records will be disclosed as there aren’t any!

I can’t even begin to tell you how amazing this pony is & we are lucky enough to have had her for both of my girls with my youngest having her the last 2.5 years and now she is ready to move on. The pony has been in our life for over 8 years.

Dennis the time waster I’ve nicked named him!! He is the most loving pony I’ve ever known! I used to say to my yard girls ‘why does he take so long to be skipped out?’ Well, I’ve now worked out that’s because no matter what rush you’re in , it’s impossible to not waste time kissing him and scratching his bum! He is such an attention seeker with the most impeccable mannerisms who is desperate for your love and attention. He stands impeccably for the kids to groom, bath, tack up etc. Perfect boy to catch and lead around , loads and travels like a dream, good to clip and shoe etc. He will be your small persons very best friend that’s for sure!

Dennis is up to date with physio, dentist, farrier , jabs, and worming

Dennis LOVES to hack out!! He will go all day long, in front of behind , solo , or on the leadrein, he loves getting out exploring!! He is so bold and pretty unflappable in the heaviest of traffic. He’s worth his weight in sheer gold in this sphere alone , he’s a real diamond out hacking and super reliable for your little ones

This is a forward going pony so if your child is nervous or needing a kick along then he won’t suit you. He is very polite , just keen to have some fun! Never bucked , reared , span, bolted etc - a pony who wants to please with lovely mannerisms

Show jumped up to 75cm in the ring with a 10 year old also been ridden and jumped by a competent 5 year old child. He doesn’t say no to fillers , very careful and competitive type of pony. Forward to a fence just in a committed manner. Would be an ideal pony for local shows, pony club / riding club / and some low level BS - has attended different venues and stay away shows and has been a pleasure to have everywhere he’s been!

Been XC schooling and loved it! Brave and genuine with great breaks and a sane mind. Was happy to go zooming around jumping everything and then immediately have to stand still and let his rider video the other one , he was impeccable! He put the big horses to absolute shame! He’d give a little one some real fun in this sphere

Den has been well hunted and is again forward going but very sane and absolutely loved it. Same applies for fun rides and beach rides. There’s nothing you wouldn’t be able to do with this pony (perhaps except a pretty dressage test , not that type of pony!)

Obedient up and down transitions in arena , just again is forward going. Balanced and attractive paces just not your average kick along job, he wants a jockey who’s as keen and up for some fun as he is!! He’s a keen child’s best friend just waiting for them!!

I’m not a pony person but this is one mega pony!! Such a gentle character with so much to offer. Please only get in touch if you can offer him a small person who will love and appreciate him as he deserves!!

Toby is a true all rounder, who never says no to anything. He loves life and loves being out and about. His main passion is showjumping and he really does excel at this. Not once has he ever refused with us , he is keen and eager and tries his heart out . he is nicely forward in the showjumping ring without being too fizzy or silly. he is responsive and straight forward to jump, and naturally quick in a jump off.

Toby loves to hack, whether it’s alone or in company. he is extremely laid back to hack and doesn’t care if he is in front or behind. he doesn’t care if the other horses canter off. he very rarely spooks and is bombproof in the heaviest of traffic . he literally is anyone’s hack.

Toby has attended pony club rallies, he has been to many stay away shows, he has done pub rides, beach rides and fun rides . he jumps any natural logs / ditches / tyres etc, and will happily go in rivers and the sea.

Toby has recently started doing a bit of mounted games training in pony club and is showing some very good potential. he is not phased by any equipment, he is responsive, he stands for
stirrups and is happy to be vaulted. he still needs a lot of practice to make a proper games pony but i really do believe it is something he could do in the future . the only issue we have come across in this discipline is he is a bit impatient on the line. he doesn’t like standing still for too long . but that is purely because he is keen to get on with his job.
as amazing as toby is, he is a chestnut cob, and he does have his quirks . which i am more than happy to discuss in detail.
