Little introduction needed - Durley Hall Medici. 128 cm JA, 15 yr old Top track gold league pony

Heartbreaking sale of our beloved pony Joey, who wins everyone hearts over! We purchased Joey in 2022 as a first pony for our son who was a complete novice from pony club/lead rein level to start unaffiliated with. With a glittering history with previous owners we didn’t hesitate and what an amazing journey we have been on, now he is ready to do that again with another small jockey!

Starting out through the stepping stones level, we quickly collected numerous clears and placings and slowly progressed through the levels to win our first major Grand Prix at South View in the 11&unders final where we realised this pony is going to be very special! Never coming home without a rosette, we went onto winning the Onley grounds Grand Prix in the winter . That season we stepped up another level with a relatively novice jockey still and won the winter royal international qualifier at Onley indoors to qualify for the final, going clear all 3 rounds!

Consistently jumped the HOYS qualifiers all year for such an unlucky 4 faults again through nerves from the rider and learning at this level but this pony always went through the start and finish, and this was a decent score given the tough tracks throughout the summer premiers. We eventually gained our HOYS 2024 ticket .

At HOYS Joey was amazing he went clear and into the jump off in both his and Freddie debut at HOYS, couldn’t have asked for a better pony to experience it all with. Qualified for London Interantional Horse Show December 2024.

Selected for England home pony teams 2024 jumping 2 x double clear, getting his jockey his England badge.

So many people can vouch for this pony who jumps out of pure heart for the job, very sound and correct and enjoys being a normal pony hacking through the forest. Not a mad type and will educate the smallest of jockeys the ranks of British showjumping. Honest, kind and straightforward ride. Quick in a jump off and loves to be competitive! Always aims to help his riders out and just a pure pleasure to take out and own.

TEELING LITTLE LEGS (aka Joey, Twinkle Joes, Sir Joseph)

The time has come for Joey to find a new little rider to bring on as my daughter is now too big for him. His next home is the most important thing for us so must be 5*.

He is 12.2hh and 11 years old. We have had him 4 years and he has brought my daughter from a complete beginner to jumping 90cm at home and courses of 70cm unaffiliated and doing prelim dressage with Dressage Ireland. Joey was not registered with SJI as we mainly did pony club and unaffiliated competition in all disciplines (SJ, Jump X, dressage and showing).

He is so kind to his little people particularly at the beginner stage and currently has 2 small people under the age of 4 who can ride him off the lead rein.

He has no lumps or bumps. Joey can turn his hoof to everything from hacking, to pony club games and xc.

Joey is currently barefoot but we have also had him shod, he can live in or out and is easy to clip, shoe, load, wash etc.

We have hundreds of videos so if you have someone that might be interested please send them our way. He will come with his full wardrobe including a custom made 1 year old saddle.

Eye catching pony with three lovely paces. Has been carefully produced by 12 year old and also schooled regularly by light weight professional dressage rider. When jumping she is careful, brave and not at all spooky at fillers. Stays in a beautiful rhythm, doesn’t get strong or over jump but is a forward ride. Comfortably jumping full course of 80/90 and is always in the ribbons.

She doesn’t know how to be nasty under saddle, never bucks or rears. Gives everything her whole heart.

Not rushed with heights due to age but has oodles of potential. Will go far in the right hands but would equally be superb for an active pony club home. Safe as houses, my daughter has never once fallen off her, never nasty and loves a fuss.

A small pony with a big personality who deserves the best of homes. He has a huge jump, pops over 1.15 like it’s nothing. Absolute xc machine, jumped water, ditches, banks etc.

Always been good to hack both alone and in company. He is great on the ground, stands to be clipped, good for farrier, used to dogs and farm machinery. Lives in or out and is good with other horses. My daughter is 10 and has had some great fun with him.

Bad points is that he can be strong and can put in a rear (I have video of this).

He needs regular riding to keep him sane and steady but our circumstances have changed and he’s only getting worked sporadically which has done him no favours so now looking to sell as project out of the field.

I have videos of him hacking, doing xc and show jumping. Teeth, back and jabs all up to date.

'Celton Escort' 12hh 2018 grey gelding

This kind and genuine pony has been home produced, by a now 10yo girl for the last 3 years.

Within the last two years he has excelled at BS shows, jumping tons of Double clears round Stepping Stones both locally and at many 'Pony Premier' shows. Proving himself to be a true BS starter pony!

He has also seen XC fences, done Pony Club rallies and has been successfully shown inhand at the local County Shows.

This polite pony is super balanced to ride and will upgrade or downgrade according to his riders ability. He is bold and brave in all respects.

Very mannerly to do in every way both at home and away. Great to shoe, box, clip. Hacks alone and in company.

Sadly for sale as outgrown looking for a 5* home where teach his next rider!

Loves xc and has done mini ode at pony club with great dressage score. Does a lovely dressage test.

Has took my daughter from jumping 40/50 Unaffiliated up to 90cm. Has a correct technique over a fence and a good even stride.

Loads and stands on trailer or wagon all day at a show. Great for farrier (barefoot) and good to clip. Brilliant to hack in company or on his own. Schools nicely. Has successfully competed in workers with previous

My daughter is very tall on him now, so we’ve made the sad decision to sell him early

Not a complete novice ride or a 1st pony, likes to get on with the job. Although a forward pony he does have breaks and my daughter hacks him out on his own and in company.

Can pull a face around food, has happily lived out with previous owners but is currently stabled and does need some form of turnout.

Comes with saddle and rugs. No loans, lwvtb or lease.

This is a really hard decision for us and has taken us a while to make but we know it’s right. Ronja came to us from another small child that was struggling with her at shows, although we’ve achieved some amazing rounds and results with her she’s not consistent with my tiny just 9 year old in the ring.

I feel ronja is better suited to a taller or older child maybe someone on their last 18 months of 128s that can get their legs around her. We have previously put a taller older child on and she was foot perfect. The child she was with in Ireland was also on her last 12/18 months with her although petite , she absolutely adored her and had some amazing achievements with her.

At home/arena hires/fun rides/ warm up areas etc she is the most perfect pony, our only fault is only ever in the ring sadly. Ronja does all her flying changes when schooled , takes a contact by herself and looks amazing. Good with absolutely everything, clipping , teeth, shoes, hacking , loading , travelling , always settled at stay aways & happy to stay out or be stabled in the evenings.

We school her around 110 at home and have jumped a couple of 115 tracks at arena hires. My 9 year old has jumped her up to winter first rounds in the ring.
