BSH FIRE BALL 

Sydney, as he is known at home, is a rising 3-year-old gelding by Fire Jazz (Furst Jazz X Sir Donnerhall), out of a mare by Scolari (Sandro Hit X De Niro).

He’s leggy in frame, with a well-set neck and good confirmation. He has that “look at me” presence, while also having a gentleman temperament. His trot and canter are expressive and uphill, with good ground cover and swing. His walk is correct, with a good overtrack.

He’s easy to handle and good for the farrier. He’s expected to make 16.3/17h, making him suitable for a tall lady or gentleman.

He is only for sale as we are trying to downsize the stud and reduce numbers.

Leprince's sire Yarlands Summer Song competed himself to 4* level eventing and has produced an amazing number of eventers which hace reached high levels of eventing including 5*, 4* and 3 as well as showjumpers. Erythronium (Tula) was bred at Saxelbye Manor Stud out of our very successful Irish mare The West who came 3rd in the 5 year old showjumping championships at Dublin Show.

Erythronium has excellent conformation and a fantastic temperament, she turned heads wherever she went. She has evented up to 2* level very successfully with many wins under her belt. We were very happy to welcome her back to the stud to continue this amazing line when she retired sound from eventing

Erythronium's sire Elroon won both the dressage and showjumping sections of the SEIB British breeding young horse evaluations and throughout his life he competed very successfully in dressage with 64 affiliated wins and qualifying for Nationals at Medium level and Regionals at Advanced Medium.

She is quick to pick things up, very brave and has been a joy to handle as she is very affectionate. Living on a farm she is used to dogs, sheep, tractors and cars and takes it all in her stride. Handled daily she is good to lead, load and stands quietly for the farrier.

Timolin has demonstrated his versatility by having a very succesful career in both eventing and dressage. He was graded Intermediate in eventing in 2019 finishing the season one point short of Advanced. He also qualified for Small Tour Dressage Championships at Inter 1 as an 8 year old and more recently was winning at Grand Prix in 2023. Success in both of these disciplines is now being carried on in his progeny as his first crop of foals are now being ridden and performing under saddle with excellent results both in this country and the USA, New Zealand, Australia and Canada. His sire, World and European Champion Totilas, was the first horse to win all 3 available gold medals at the World Equestrian Games in 2010 and the first horse to score over 90 in dressage competition.

Ellie’s dam Myspires Fiderella Hit also has a strong dressage lineage as one of Myspires Fider Hit’s first foals in 2018. Myspires Fider Hit has exceptional bloodlines in the proven combination of Sandro Hit with Fidertanz, bestowing loose elastic gaits and elegance with expression. Ellie has also inherited his super temperament and easy attitude to work together with her dam’s affectionate nature.
