Tom is an absolutely gorgeous full up 17h 6 year old roan registered Irish draught gelding.

Tom is one in a million who has so much class, quality and potential with the most amazing temperament to match. He is a very well bred fully registered Irish Draught with 5 generations of pedigree recorded. He is the perfect stamp of a horse, combining quality and bone and very much having a leg in each corner. He is a real weight carrier with a lovely deep girth and good length of neck; he will be ideal for carrying a man all day on the hunt field but is equally suited to a lady as he has lovely manners. So he would make a good husband and wife share. He has excellent conformation, clean limbs and straight movement. He is very sound and healthy, he sailed through a 5 stage vetting back in June last year when his current owner purchased him. He is a very desirable type as he is the perfect hunter yet he is also a fabulous talented alrounder who moves exceptionally well for dressage, has a scopey jump both sj and xc so could also be a very smart eventer or pure dressage horse. Tom has the most amazing kind temperament and outlook on life making him the full package.

Tom works nicely in the school on the flat. He has a lovely relaxed way of going with super movement and elasticity. He has three very good paces; his walk is relaxed with a very good over track and good swing through the shoulder. His trot is athletic and big moving with lots of natural cadence and her canter is uphill and powerful. He is soft in the hand and works very nicely up to the contact from between leg and hand into a natural outline. He gives her rider a very nice true feeling of contact. He is a lovely medium speed to ride, being responsive to transitions. He has been ridden by a tall light weight girl as well a mature gentleman so adapts well to different riders. He is good to ride away from home at new venues, he has a sensible head and takes I all in his stride. He has competed at a few preliminary dressage competitions in Ireland where he was well placed with scores in the high 60’s. He has lots of potential to work his way through the dressage levels and affiliate BD as he is such a good moving horse with lots of scope within his paces.

Tom loves his jumping and makes a nice scopey shape. He is forward going into a fence and is very honest and genuine to jump. He is very bold and jumps all fillers and water trays first attempt confidently. He knows his job well and will go on a short or long stride and help his rider out. He has been out to lots of training shows and arena hires where he has been jumping 1m courses with ease. He has also done a small bit of competing in Ireland around 90cm tracks. He has huge scope to jump higher tracks as he has jumped single fences up to 1m15 with ease and has more to come. He would also excel at riding club level and be perfect to take on jumping clinis/ camp ect.

Tom is equally as bold over xc jumps. He really enjoys going xc and has plenty of pace to make the time at events as he covers so much ground. He jumps everything asked of him including ditches and water complexes. He is a very straight forward ride and takes his rider confidently into the fences. He has done lots of xc schooling and a few hunter trails. He is a very honest dependable horse who always gets round clear and is lots of fun. He has so much potential to excel as an eventer as he is very good at all 3 disciplines and has a very ground covering gallop where he would easily make the xc time.

Tom is lovely to hack both alone and in company, he has done more hacking in company to date due to his owner’s preference. He is excellent in traffic and very confident in his own skin. He is good in open spaces and loves a good canter along the river bank or through a stubble field. He will also go out in a group where he is very mannerly and will canter happily in any order, he walks out well so is generally nearer the front of the order. He has been on pleasure rides in Ireland where he was super and took it all in his stride. He has hunted in Ireland with the Maynooth where he was well behaved and bold jumping everything he was pointed at. He was hunted by a petite lady in a snaffle so has very good manners for a big horse. He would really excel as a hunter in this country, he has the size, bone, athleticism, bravery, scope and temperament. I can see him being a seasoned hunter and doing some dressage/ jumping/ eventing during the summer months.

Tom has a super temperament. He puts a smile on your face every day. He has such a zest for life and is always a very happy boy. He loves people and will make someone an amazing best friend. He is always good to catch and lead in. He loves all the attention of being groomed and pampered. He is very easy to handle in all ways. He lives in and out and is happy be turned out next to or in with other horses, has mixed with mares and geldings. He is great to shoe, wash and clip. He loads perfectly and travels like a dream. He’s great to take out and rides the same in new places as he does at home. He really is such a genuine honest boy who deserves the best of homes.

This is a very sad sale of my clients horse in a million. His owner is now in his 70’s and has reached the end of his riding days but wants the best for Tom and wants him to reach his potential. He is the ultimate alrounder/hunter that would do a lot of jobs. He is not suitable for a novice as he is too big moving and has too much power. He is looking for a confident competent rider to realise his potential. 5* homes only as this si a difficult sale of a well-loved horse.

Finn is a very unusual model which you don’t see everyday! He has a superb temperament, and is a very easy boy to work with in every way.

Finn has hunted this season and has proven to us to be a sensible and safe horse while out doing his job.

He is a great example of a true allrounder as he is a very versatile horse either that be out hunting or would even suit a more leisure home doing some flat work in the arena or out hacking etc. Someone will have a lot of fun with this boy!

Spotty is a wonderful 16.1hh ISH gelding. He is ID x- by Baltydaniel Silverflight (fast silver) renowned for passing a superb temperament to offspring- which he has in bags.

Spotty was purchased as a just backed 3yo and has been an old head on young shoulders from day dot. He has never stopped or said no at anything ever, he always has a can do attitude and if he’s unsure just tried his heart out. He has never bucked, reared, napped - and can be left weeks without being ridden and picked back up again without bother.

Spotty is good to hack, alone or in company. He’s brilliant in traffic- farm traffic, cars and bikes etc. He isn’t spooky or silly. He is perfect in open space and won’t have a buck or mess about in company.

Spotty has trail hunted with the Fernie and with bloodhounds and behaved immaculately. He stands at the meet and is very civilised. He is bold to jump rails or hedges. He is a substantial horse with good strong limbs and good feet and isn’t bothered by wet going!

Spotty has been to numerous competitions. He has been arena eventing several times, and has competed in several BE80 (UA) around offchurch, rolleston and Aston le walls to name a few. He always scores low 30Dr and always jumps clear xc- he has had the odd 4 faults as any young horse jumping on grass can have in the sj!

He is flash in the dr boards and the judges love his elastic paces and natural uphill frame- he has bags of presence. He is genuine, careful and easy to sj, bold over ALL fillers. He romps around the xc and all you need to do is aim between the flags!

On the flat Spots has a lovely soft mouth, he is reactive off the leg and gives a v enjoyable ride. You don’t need to kick and scrub along. He has a very big impressive canter and is still quite weak containing it, he finds moving side ways very easy. For this reason we have not done a huge amount of lateral work, so as not to teach him to wizz about sideways rather than learn to contain his movement in a straight line.

He has no health issues, clean limbed, vice free. He loads and travels on ifor Williams 511, 3.5 tonne lorry and a HGV lorry. He has regularly had the dentist and physio, good to shoe, bath, needs a twitch to pull his mane. Good to clip- twitch to do his head.

Not suitable for a total novice as he is a sensitive enough ride and probably wouldn’t love someone flailing around all over the show on him! He is SUPER SAFE. He did all his first days hunting and early events while I was pregnant and was a total poppet. This is a very highly thought of horse and homes will be vetted. Total one of a kind unicorn in person and picture!
