Personality & Care

- Loves turnout – currently lives out at night year-round in a small herd but has been in regular livery (gets stressed if in too much)
- A true gentleman – easy to handle, shoe, clip, catch, and for vet/dentist visits
- Loads first time, every time
- Incredibly kind nature – has never pinned his ears at a person or another horse
- Does get stressed when left alone - but would suit a home environment with others

He is still requiring further training, takes confidence/reassurance from his rider. He needs someone who can continue his education, give him all the love and fuss he deserves. Mole has had sarcoids removed (now stable) and typical Thoroughbred feet.

This is an honest and difficult rehoming, due to a demanding career and life stage. Finding the right home is my priority.

Henry is a very elegant 16.1hh 6yr old, Thoroughbred gelding. He has only raced once in the past, and was never injured. He has great conformation and has been professionally re trained for well over a year.

He is a total gentleman on the ground. Loves to be pampered. Easy to handle. Respects riders personal space when leading him in/out the field for example. He is kind, willing, eager to learn. Lovely around children and people in general.

With three expressive paces, natural balance, and an impressive presence, Henry has all the attributes to excel in dressage. He is light in the hand, responsive to the aids, and is showing great potential in his lateral work.

Henry scored 70% Prelim, 64% in British Dressage Novice and is working on Elementary movements at home.

He hacks alone or in company. Is good in traffic and has been used to lead when out hacking with a nappy pony.

Henry has only done a small amount of jumping at the moment, but is popping round coloured fences, and has XC schooled, proving to be very willing and scopey. He would suit a knowledgable home to continue to educate and produce him further with
his jumping.

Major is a super smart 15.1h 5 year old, skewbald Irish Cob gelding. With me on sales livery on behalf of his owner who sadly doesn’t have the time for him now she is busier with her job. He is very much an old head on young shoulders. He is a lovely quality size and stamp making him a great for both adults and teenagers to ride. He definitely catches the eye where ever he goes with his striking looks and his honest kind eye. He has excellent conformation, straight movement and is blemish free. He is a true low level alrounder/ pleasure horse who puts 100% into everything asked of him and always aims to please. He is the type very hard to find as his temperament is superb and he is very safe and dependable without being a dead kick along.

Major works nicely in the school, he has 3 correct balanced paces and is light in the hand. He is a comfortable ride with a nice stride. He is a lovely medium speed who is easy to get going but not at all sharp off the leg, hes a very simple ride. He takes a bit of leg without being a dead kick along so he would suit a wide range of riders including someone coming out of a riding school looking to buy their first horse. He is very unflappable to ride, he doesn’t mind if his rider accidently kicks him or pulls him a bit hard, equally he doesn’t mind if his rider loses their balance. You can do around the world on him as well as riding him bareback and sliding down his bum!

He has good basic schooling but hasn’t been asked to ride in a dressage outline as of yet, but you could easily school him up to do a smart dressage test. He is snaffle mouthed for everything and not at all strong. He has been ridden by a range of different riders from novices to more experienced riders. He is a safe sensible ride who is very willing and trainable, he gives his rider confidence.

Major enjoys doing polework. He hasn’t done much jumping due to his owners choices but he will happily pop over a cross pole and jump a log out hacking. Hes not a showjumper but hes a very genuine willing boy that will have a go. Hes done a small bit of cross country in his previous home in Ireland which he enjoyed.

Major happily hacks out alone and in company. He is good in traffic. He is great in open spaces. He is not the spooky type. He is a very fun safe ride who gives his rider confidence. He has been on long 10 mile hacks and pleasure rides where he has crossed rivers, jumped logs, crossed bridges etc all in a calm manner. He has also been to the beach and went in the sea and was a star all day long giving his riders so much fun! He would be a great pleasure horse/ happy hacker to have hours on fun with.

Major has an amazing temperament. He loves people and loves all the attention that he can get. He is always first over to you in the field and is always very friendly. He is a very easy boy to have around, he is excellent in all ways to handle, great to catch, shoe, bath, load ect. He will stand for hours to be brushed and pampered. He is extremely easy going to have around and doesn’t mind if his routine is changed, he is happy to be in our out alone or in company. He is a real yard favourite and always puts a smile on your face as he is a big personality.

Major must go to a 10* home where he will be loved and cherished. He would make an excellent low level alrounder. He would also be well suited to a hacking/ pleasure ride home.

Eddie is a fantastic family horse, he is truly wonderful, loving, cuddly and playful with everyone he meets from tiny tots to other equines, he has always got his ears forward and absolutely loves attention.

Exceptional gelding with tonnes of experience for sale. Has spent the last few years in the same riding school where he has been ridden by all level riders, from complete beginners who have never sat on a horse before through to experience riders who can walk, trot, canter, Showjump, cross country and dressage.

Eddie has done all flat work lessons, privates and groups, with the same enthusiasm now as when he first started his riding school career. He is very genuine and loves to hack out, he doesn’t pull, rush, spook or get nervous of anything. He is one of our main hack horses as he is exceptional at the front, middle, back of the ride or on his own.

This horse is simply one in a million, he is one of our main RDA horses where he is ridden in the paddock, across open fields and roads by riders with mild to severe learning requirements he will stand at a mounting block and hoist for hours if required, he is absolutely not phased at all by extremely loud noises, shouting and screaming, riders waving their arms and swinging their legs, even dismounting whilst he is moving, he simply stops immediately.

Absolutely no vices, when ridden, in the stable or in the field and has brilliant manners enabling anyone to handle him safely and with ease, will stand for hours with no head collar or lead rope being groomed.

Steady Eddie has exceptional manners and ticks so many boxes for someone looking for a very safe easy Schoolmaster, with no ifs or buts.

He will hack out alone or in company without batting an eye lid in extremely heavy traffic including articulated lorries, double-decker, buses tractors & trailers, farm machinery absolutely nothing bothers him.
He is 100% safe, steady and collected when ridden in all paces across open fields, regardless of wether he is at the front or back of the ride or on his own, he will not rush or pull even on the way home.

Snaffle mouth with absolutely no gadgets.

He lives out in a mixed herd, he is stabled during the day and turned out at night, he is equally happy to be stabled or live out, he keeps himself to himself and never causes any trouble despite being out with 30 other horses.
Has excellent manners with the farrier and currently barefoot.
He is excellent to catch, load with the farrier, dentist and vet.

Eddie will give confidence to any rider/ handler when hunting, eventing, showjumping, fun rides and beach rides he has been there and done it all.

He doesn’t need to be ridden every day he can go days, weeks, months without work then be tacked up and ridden without any fuss, he is extremely low maintenance.

He has never been lame had laminitis, sweet itch or sarcoids. No lumps or bumps.

Passes are annual Riding School Licence Inspection which is equivalent to a stage 2 vetting.
