We bought Striker to go into a riding school of which we didn’t go ahead with. Since being with us he has built the confidence of several riders after they lost it all with other rather sharp horses.

Striker is an honest and kind horse and he would be great as a 2nd horse particularly for a rider looking to do a bit of everything. He will take you from poles on the ground to jumping round courses, or if you prefer to move into X-Country without the fear of a horse taking off and being too strong- he’s great for that too.

He has been to X-Country, fun rides and clinics. He enjoys hacking in open spaces across farmland. He is bomb proof in traffic too. Hacked at least once a week on roads. He is competing at home round 70/80cm and will easily jump 90cm. He will also drop down to trotting happily over cross poles.

Striker is a standard bred but has a good trot and canter. His transitions have improved a lot. He is not a kick a long but is sane and you will learn to ride very well with him and he is never sharp or silly.

He will jump anything at X-Country whether its brushes, barrels- anything! Fillers and water trays do not phase him and he is not a spooky horse. He is great through water and over ditches. He will go in an outline in all three paces. He can perform a nice dressage test.

He isn't the most confident pony in the stable and can be shy until he gets to know you. He loves a fuss.

Super easy to load, travel, bath, groom and clip, easy for dental and vet. We hold him for the farrier or give him a haynet as he is a fidget.

Turned out individually, he enjoys being out but easily lives in too.

Striker makes people feel very comfortable when hacking across open farmland or on the road. He babysits the young sharp horses too. It’s not easy to find confidence building horses and we will be honestly sad to see him go. Please feel free to call me to discuss. Scooby!

An exceptionally kind and gentle soul standing at 15.1h 5yo. Scooby has a wonderful attitude to life he’s a “yes man” and gives it all a go. Ears always pricked forwards wanting a fuss and to be loved. Quiet enough for small children/non horsey husband to handle, catch, lead and groom. A NON bolshy cob that’s a dope on a rope!

Scooby adores his hacking and is super in large traffic. Snaffle mouth at all times, never strong. Schools sweetly on the flat and knows his basics with a beautifully balanced canter with great transitions - always striking on the correct lead.

To jump he’s super, very brave and always gets you to the other side. A point and steer job! Unfazed by all XC rustics and coloured showjumps/fillers.

Scooby loves the forest will go for hours on end and throughly enjoys a dip in the river to cool off. With further education he would look magnificent with a set of plaits in the white boards if you wanted to unleash your inner dressage diva.

Has competed up to 70 in showjumping and cross country with scope to go higher, hacks alone or in company, he is still green in the school (just picking up the correct canter lead) but this is just due to his age. He is snaffle mouthed always and has never been strong.

I’m looking for a 5-star home for my much-loved horse Max, who has been with me for the past five years. He’s the sweetest and kindest horse on the ground, always the yard favourite, and loved by everyone who meets him.

Max has incredible paces and a great jump but isn’t a horse who enjoys being schooled every day. He loves hacking—both alone and in company—and is happy cantering around big open fields. He hasn’t had much experience with heavy traffic as he’s been lucky to have field hacking at home. He’s been to fun rides, clinics, and lessons, always proving to be a pleasure to handle and ride.

Competition-wise, he’s done a bit of everything, including unaffiliated dressage, combined training (winning on several occasions), and unaffiliated showjumping, where he was great fun and easy to manage. He is low mileage and low maintenance.

He does crib at feed times but this has never affected his performance or well-being. He also has two sarcoids on the inside of his back leg that arent visible unless looking for them and have not changed size or shape in 5 years of ownership. Both reflected in the price.

This sale is through no fault of his own—after five wonderful years together, I’ve made the difficult decision to have a break from horse ownership. He is not a novice ride but has absolutely no badness in him. The right home is my top priority, and I want him to go to someone who will enjoy him as much as I have.

Bruce has had the best start in life, owned since he was one and he’s been started correctly with all training. He has been so easy to do and is just happy to please. Due to pressure of motherhood he has been lightly professionally backed and then continued his education back home.

I have jumped logs here and there whilst hacking but due to him being croup high for so long I have not done much jumping/circles anything to put pressure on him whilst he was growing up. I have been hacking and working on straightness, hill work and long reining etc until he grew in to himself. He has been enjoying hacking alone and in company. He takes everything in his stride. Good to do and incredibly kind, he’s used to children, dogs and livestock on the yard, farm machinery and good in traffic. He is so safe and genuine.

Berwick Beauty, 2011 16hh ISH bay mare.
Beauty is an absolute poppet and as her name suggests - beautiful! She’s incredibly easy to handle and do on the ground. Not marish, good to shoe, clip (needs sedation for legs), load, travel, stand on lorry or trailer, catch, turnout, groom, tack up etc.

For the past 3 years she has been a hacking horse round Windsor park with a novice lady rider, so has relatively low mileage for her age. She’s super hacking alone and in company, in open spaces & traffic.

On the flat she will come into a little shape and has nice paces, dressage is never going to be her favourite job but she is polite and forward without being strong or lazy.

Beauty absolutely loves to jump. We have taken her out XC schooling and showjumping. She is a machine XC, jumping everything including the bigger fences, ditches, water, steps etc. Showjumping she’s not phased by fillers, happy to take a miss & would be great in a jump off. We’ve had her over 1.05/1.10 courses with ease, there’s plenty of scope in the tank. Beauty is forward to a fence but only in a rubber snaffle. At home she can get excited to jump (not bad but little bunny hops) and needs someone who perhaps isn’t that phased about jumping at home lots just at shows or willing to put some time into her learning to slow down as once she knows where she’s going does get quick and buzzy, but this is only with jumps and not pole work and doesn’t reflect what she’s like when out at a venue.

Beauty would suit a teenager or young adult looking to have lots of fun, she’s only excited when jumping not hacking or flatwork so would suit a mother/daughter share. Would be excellent out hunting, team chasing, PC rallies, tets, XC, showjumper or eventing!
