Multiple champion Rathnari Connor is an 8 year old,153cms Connemara gelding. He demonstrates all the positive characteristics of the breed ie plenty of bone,hardiness,soundness, good temperament etc.
Ridden in a simple snaffle he has beautiful eye catching movement and presence.His distinct paces and floating trot has helped him win ridden Connemara Classes and Championships. He has successfully qualified for the Ridden Connemara Class at the Royal Dublin Horse Show for the past 3 years.
His balance, rhythm and movement would make him a lovely dressage animal.
Professionally broken as a four year, his education progressed slowly.Competition in the Show Ring began for him in 2022 and he has had great success in both Ridden Connemara and Working Hunter classes.

Because of his calm temperament this pony would make an ideal adult/ child share for ridden classes. He is in no way sharp and doesn’t need to be ridden everyday to remain calm.When not in training he is cared for by a retired lady who has no difficulty in looking after him by herself. He is a very healthy animal, N/ N for hoof wall and is easy to load,shoe ,clip and wash.
This pony’s way of going and outline over a jump has helped him win Working Hunter Championships. Winning the Working Hunter championship in Clifden as a 6 year old in 2023 the centenary year of the Connemara Pony Breeders Society remains high in our memory. This pony has competed in one day training events. Presently he is returning to work and as part of his training is jumping 90 cms courses ,as he becomes fitter he will be capable of jumping higher.
This much loved and cared for pony will continue to thrive in a knowledgeable,competitive home.
