Sire Maximus VDL 

Maximus is already the eighth KWPN approved son of the foundation stallion Zirocco Blue. Under the saddle of Jur Vrieling, Zirocco Blue was very successful in sport from an early age and in breeding the son of Mr. Blue can be counted among the best of his generation. Offspring such as Eddie Blue (Devin Ryan USA), Magnolia Mystic Rose (Eduardo Menezes BRA), El Rocco SK (Jur Vrieling NED), Jet Blue (McLain Ward USA), Flair (Steve Guerdat SUI) and Fliere Fluiter (Jack Ansems NED) don't lie; Zirocco Blue VDL is represented every week at the highest level. Maximus was bred from a daughter of Verdi - a successful KWPN stallion under Maikel van der Vleuten.

Maximus's dam is the elite IBOP-(Spr.) Sport-(Spr.) mare Daloma, who herself was successful up to 1.30m level. Grandam Paloma in turn jumped at Grand Prix and World Cup level under top rider Eric van der Vleuten and has already produced the successful show jumpers Ferm and Ulomus in breeding. Maximus' great-grandmother Sjaloma is one of the best breeding mares from the famous Loma line; she produced the approved stallions Furore and Jaguar and was the basis for many international sport horses, including the famous Voyeur. Under Kent Farrington, Voyeur jumped to Olympic team silver in 2016 and an individual fifth place in Rio de Janeiro.

Dam line needs no introduction top-class Irish breeding on both sides.

Radley Wood Dakota is a stunning black filly by the powerful stallion Devivio, (who is by Dutch Olympic dressage superstar NOP Desperado) and on the mare line is by the breeding legend that is Demonstrator.

Devivio has been successful in young horse classes, a Shearwater 5yo finalist & Hickstead 6 yo finalist, and is progressing with ease through the levels. Currently competing Advanced Medium training Grand Prix movements. He has an effortless ability to collect and extend and an excellent attitude to his work. His first crop of foals achieved Elite status and have inherited is outstanding elasticity and cadence together with his kind and willing temperament. His pedigree boasts generations of successful top-class bloodlines who have themselves competed at the highest level.

His sire: Desperado NOP, the Olympic Dutch Team horse is rapidly moving up the World rankings with victory in the seventh leg of the FEI Dressage World Cup 2019/2020. He is a very powerful horse.

Demonstrator is one of Great Britain’s leading sires of proven competition horses.
This extraordinary elite stallion had a spectacular career ridden by Ferdi Eilberg and has since produced countless outstanding progeny.

Demonstrator competed both nationally and internationally at Grand Prix and was short listed for the Olympic Dressage Team. In 1999 he was the Horse & Hound’s leading sire of Dressage Horses and in the same year was voted “Dressage Horse of the Year” by Dressage Magazine.
