Beautiful bay mare. Great all rounder, who has mainly show jumped competitively at 1.10 level. Recently placing fourth and qualifying for finals at Cavan and competing throughout Ireland.

Has floating correct paces on the flat and really enjoys Xc schooling and is great over natural fences. Would be great fun to event and would make a super all round competitive horse.

Izzy is very talented jumping and has super technique over the fences. She has also proven her ability to register fast times and is good against the clock.

She is eye catching and would do well in working hunter.

Izzy is a pleasure on the yard with no vices and has developed brilliantly over the past three years.

Figaro, has been a wonderful addition to our home. We bought him for our then 14yr, 5.1ft , daughter to learn to SJ while she also evented other horses.

Figaro is so honest to his fences, helping you as much as is needed. He doesn't get offended when you miss, he loves his job and is happy to jump smaller or larger fences. He doesn't change if he is jumped everyday or not for weeks, he also doesn't have to be ridden everyday. He has been based in a family home, hacks out, canters in open spaces, at competitions is not bothered by busy warm up arenas, happy to wait his turn outside of the ring, travel alone or in company. He must however be sedated to clip.

Figaro has had a very easy life with us, when we got him my daughter was just learning on him, then sadly she had a serve accident with an event horse breaking her pelvis therefore he just chilled out at home, occasionally Jay Halim took him competing for us and when she did take him out again it was all about getting her confidence back.

Figaro did sell recently and it wasn’t the correct match as he didn’t enjoy living in a family farm style environment, therefore he would be better suited to being on a busy yard and going to competitions with others horses as he was impatient when left on the lorry on his own, however we would take him on his own to lessons and competitions.

Tentatively putting my dads horse, Rocket on the market to see if we can find him a new home.

Rocket came into our family around 4 years ago and has primarily been my dad’s jumping horse. Rocket has jumped up to 1.50 level in the UK & abroad in his earlier days but when we purchased him he was competitive & happy at 1.10/1.20.

He has spent his years with us as a schoolmaster jumping up to 90cm, not because he can’t jump bigger but my dad has a family enforced ban on jumping any bigger due to his health!

When we enquired about Rocket, my question to his last owner was along the lines of ‘Will this horse put up with a 60 odd year old man with the mind of a child that loves to go as fast as he can and turn the tightest of turns to win 50p ribbons?’ The answer was yes and I have to say Rocket has enjoyed it just as much. I couldn’t begin to think the amount of rosettes this pair have won, the leagues they have smashed and the fun they’ve had over the years.

Sadly my dad is starting to hang up his riding boots and it seems a shame for Rocket to retire when he still has years ahead of him.

He’s the type of horse you could give 6 months off a jump on without issues, he hacks alone and in company but does get excitable in big groups. He hasn’t been out much in the last 6 months or so due to my dad slowing down.

Goes well on the flat with auto changes, has always been the type to jump off any stride and turns any corner. We recently took him to a dressage where he won his class.

He’s a grumpy arse on the ground that doesn’t like to be bothered so he wouldn’t suit a pony patter. They made a pact that my dad wouldn’t bother Rocket in his spare time and in turn Rocket would win him a bunch of rosettes and they have both stuck to that.

A lovely big showjumping horse that still very much enjoys the job.
