Jump the Burren has raced once and is eligible for RoR, low mileage great canvass with solid basic foundations. Rising 6 yo mare.

We rehomed Ember off the track at the end of summer 2024 to sell her appropriately in time; since then, she has been given downtime and good nutrition and slowly brought back into work. Professionally schooled, her basics are solid and correct, showing real aptitude for Dressage.

She is as you should expect, a 6yo racer off the track, green, innocent, and looking for direction. Ember is a horse that loves her work. She's not nappy or sharp but thrives on a job to do. She currently has limited turnout and needs to go to a home where she can reach her full potential, which is in abundance.

She would turn her hoof to many disciplines as she has an inquisitive nature with the right amount of confidence.

She is great with other horses, friendly in the stable, and a pleasure to have around. She needs a home to get her head down to grass, progress her training, and be nurtured into a fantastic competition horse.

As with any horse, she needs a knowledgeable home for her age. If you confuse her walk with rushing, then she's not for you. If you need to know 'is she strong, is she safe to hack alone' then NO she isn't for you. As the advert says, she is 6, off the track, and green. Why consider hacking alone? Train her in time.

I would appreciate videos of people riding before you come, as we are busy, and Ember is not being test-ridden for fun. She will ONLY go to a good, educated horse home. Price does not reflect her lack of ability or sanity; its sadly the industry. No novices, bargain hunters or

Good to shoe, loads well, and has fantastic feet!! Please see videos!

Wonderful RoR Eligible Dressage Prospect

A genuine, considered and heartfelt rehoming of my stunning, kind-natured gelding Mole.

Mole is a truly special soul who will give you his whole heart in return for kindness and patience. He would thrive in a dressage-focused home with a calm, confident rider.

- ROR Eligible: retired after just six months in training
- Professionally produced: by a classical dressage rider since retirement (after 18 months turned away)
- Exceptional temperament: kind, gentle, and eager to please
- By Fame & Glory (Montjeu), a beautifully bred, old-fashioned Thoroughbred with plenty of bone

Training & Experience

- Dressage prospect – competed online, consistently scoring 70-75%+
- Needs an experienced, confident and calm rider to continue his journey and give him reassurance
- Soft, responsive ride
- Bombproof to hack in company: unfazed by large vehicles, dogs, farm animals, bikes, and other horses (never tried alone)
- Regularly attends pole clinics – however would not SJ

Personality & Care

- Loves turnout – currently lives out at night year-round in a small herd but has been in regular livery (gets stressed if in too much)
- A true gentleman – easy to handle, shoe, clip, catch, and for vet/dentist visits
- Loads first time, every time
- Incredibly kind nature – has never pinned his ears at a person or another horse
- Does get stressed when left alone - but would suit a home environment with others

He is still requiring further training, takes confidence/reassurance from his rider. He needs someone who can continue his education, give him all the love and fuss he deserves. Mole has had sarcoids removed (now stable) and typical Thoroughbred feet.

This is an honest and difficult rehoming, due to a demanding career and life stage. Finding the right home is my priority.

Location: Surrey / West Sussex Border
Plenty of videos, photos, and dressage sheets available

All tack and rugs available by seperate negotiation.

Serious enquiries only. Must be a competent rider, no novices.

Viewed with rider and trainer.

For sale from a private genuine loving home, a pretty and sweet natured 15.2-15.3hh 15 y.o very well bred Weatherby's National Hunt ex racehorse Thoroughbred mare who has been a mum for the last 6 years of her life.

Now needs a new experienced home as a proven broodmare or could be brought back into work with the right person. She did race, just didn't like it so she is ROR eligible.

She apparently did do a bit of show jumping and cross country in-between racing and being a mum before her current home where she has just been a broodmare for the last few years.

A video of her jumping hurdles can be seen in this advert below the description.

She would also make a nice natural horsemanship project.

She has been an incredible broodmare producing outstanding wonderful natured and strongly built offspring. Has taken first time both naturally and via AI. Foals easily and is a great mum, just knows her job well.

She is a very good do-er with no health issues and good feet. Upto date with vaccines, teeth rasped every year and is on a worming programme with consistantly clear worm counts.

She is used to being with mares and geldings but is scared of being bullied so needs quieter companions.

She is good to handle and transport.

Will only go to a loving home with proper experience and knowledge of ex racehorse thoroughbreds!

URGENT HOME NEEDED - HONEST ADVERTISEMENT – PLEASE READ IN FULL BEFORE CONTACTING ME.

I am looking to rehome Freddo, who I acquired from the riding school after my 13-year-old daughter fell in love with him. He was a wonderful companion, and they formed a beautiful bond during their time together. Freddo was an excellent horse—he jumped / hacked both alone and with others, and was safe in traffic. He’s was not fazed by large vehicles, dogs, farm animals, or other horses.

He was a dream to handle—easy to shoe, clip, and catch (he would follow my daughter around without needing a head collar). The loyalty he offered was truly unmatched. Freddo was an incredible all-rounder; however, he does wind suck, which is quite common in Thoroughbreds. This has never caused him any issues, and I believe it stems from not getting out enough. And I felt it’s a small price to pay for such a lovely horse.

Unfortunately, a few months ago, my daughter lost interest in riding, and as a result, Freddo hasn’t been getting the attention he deserves. He’s become a bit fresh due to lack of turnout. While I do have a confident 13-year-old girl riding him occasionally, he needs someone who can dedicate more time to him.

Freddo has immense potential and is capable of so much more.

I’m selling him at a low price because I want him to find a loving home. Where he can start to get the attention again that he needs and deserves !!

I’m looking for a dedicated owner with the capability to get him out working again and who will love him as much as we do.

Located in the Horley, Surrey area.

No time-wasters, please!

Tommy Dylon, May 2010, 17hh TB, ROR eligible.

Safe, never reared or napped, hacks alone or in company, travels in a lorry or trailer and is good to clip and with farrier and dentist. Lives in or out and good with a mixed herd.

Competed ROR challenge, always in the ribbons. Evented at BE100, usually finishing on his dressage score and will jump xc all day. Also competed arena eventing and combined training.

He has done very little over the last two years except hack due to lack of time so he has plenty of miles left in him.

He is fit and ready to go and should be out competing with someone having lots of fun on him.

Henry is a very elegant 16.1hh 6yr old, Thoroughbred gelding. He has only raced once in the past, and was never injured. He has great conformation and has been professionally re trained for well over a year.

He is a total gentleman on the ground. Loves to be pampered. Easy to handle. Respects riders personal space when leading him in/out the field for example. He is kind, willing, eager to learn. Lovely around children and people in general.

With three expressive paces, natural balance, and an impressive presence, Henry has all the attributes to excel in dressage. He is light in the hand, responsive to the aids, and is showing great potential in his lateral work.

Henry scored 70% Prelim, 64% in British Dressage Novice and is working on Elementary movements at home.

He hacks alone or in company. Is good in traffic and has been used to lead when out hacking with a nappy pony.

Henry has only done a small amount of jumping at the moment, but is popping round coloured fences, and has XC schooled, proving to be very willing and scopey. He would suit a knowledgable home to continue to educate and produce him further with
his jumping.

No medical history, no medication taken. No special diet and or supplements.

Up to date with farrier, physio, dentist & jabs. (Stands lovely for all).

Loads happily on a trailer or waggon.

This is an exciting opportunity for a competent rider to develop a talented horse with a very bright future.

16.2 Bay 11yr TB Mare. ROR Eligible. Sammy is an absolutely beautiful TB by the popular stallion Black Sam Bellamy. She's not your typical TB, she looks more like a sport horse. She moves well, has a great temperament, excellent feet and good confirmation!

I brought Sammy a few years ago to actually use as a broodmare as I was looking for a full TB and I liked her breeding aswell as her temperament, confirmation and good feet! I then didn't have the funds to put her in foal so she went on breeding loan to a friend and she bred a beautiful colt by a connemara stallion. She had an easy foaling and was the most excellent mother and would always be an asset to an eventing or racing breeder, she would happily be a mum again!

This winter having left her empty again, I decided I'd give her something to do and bring her back into work! Sammy has taken to her ridden life away from racing well. She is a forward ride and like alot of ex racers does try and use speed when she finds something difficult! She is working well on the flat, she works in a nice frame with a balanced canter and is now developing her leg yield and counter canter. She has popped a few jumps and seems to enjoy this although I have mainly concentrated on her flatwork.

She hacks alone and in company, very un spooky and excellent in traffic.

Sammy is brilliant to catch, shoe, clip and load. She turns out in big or small herds or individually with friends next door.

Sammy doesn't need riding everyday and isn't sharp, silly or spooky! She is still in the retraining stages and therefore needs a confident and sympathetic new rider who has experience retraining thoroughbreds and understands that she could have anxious moments when moving to a new yard with a new rider. Sammy has come on leaps and bounds over the last few months and improves everyday and I have grown very found of her. I would love her to go to someone who wants to carry on slowly retraining her whilst building a relationship and giving her lots of love!

Sammy would prefer to live on a yard with plenty of turnout as this is what she's used to having lived out 24/7 for the last few years. Having said that she loves being in and is happy stabled.

Bridle and rugs included. Saddle available.

Meet Borris aka Feed Me Weetabix

Retired from racing last year as to slow.

Borris has a very laid back attitude to life and is currently teaching my very novice 12 YO niece to ride. He has taken my son hunting over Exmoor numerous times and he is a total novice.

Did a hunt clinic with Vittoria Panizzon with a 13 YO girl where he jumped hedges, ditches and rails confidently.

Been Xc schooling at Pontispool both arena and on grass and was absolutely awesome jumping everything put in front of him.

Flat work is nice but he does need to build strength in this area. SJ very good. Ready to go event or make someone a reliable riding club all rounder / hunter.

No time wasters as I’ve had enough of these people looking for a free day out.

Up to date with teeth and vaccines.

Tiny has showjumped up to British Novice, jumping clear in his last 5 rounds, placing in 4/5. He is bold to a fence and not bothered about fillers.

He has team chased, evented up to 90 with his previous owner and schooled over 1m+, done fun rides and been to the beach.

Hacks alone and in company but not a novice ride as can get excited! Snaffle mouthed for everything.

Good to catch, shoe, travel. Lives out 24/7. Has been seen to crib bite at dinner time.

Priced for a quick sale and open to sensible offers due to lack of time for this lovely boy who I’ve had for 4 years!

Western Wolf (Wolfie) is a laid back, fun ride who loves to be out and about. He is happy to be in consistent work, but equally will happily be left for a week and will be the same when you get back on. He enjoys varied work. He hacks out alone and in company and is phased by nothing. Would happily sit a total novice or beginner on him for a hack. He isn't the spooky type. Very good in traffic and has seen all farm machinery, motorbikes etc.

Loves to go out hacking! Wolfie absolutely loves his jumping and pops a fence very nicely in a good shape. He is super honest and willing and not a stopper, will jump off any stride. Has jumped 1m25cm at home with ease.

Wolfie has been out eventing at 80cm and has show jumped 90+1m last season. He will stand perfectly at a show all day and really enjoys being out and about. Jumps water, steps, ditches etc.

He is a bit green on the flat but the penny is starting to drop with this and he’s constantly improving.Raced twice 4 years ago but was not quick enough. I brought him as a gap year project but he is so much fun, I did not sell him as planned. Now at university, with little spare time so he is being wasted at home.

Perfect mother/daughter share. Happy hacker and fun all rounder. Easy to do in all ways. He loves a cuddle and is polite on the ground, very easy to turn out/bring in from the field. Great with the farrier. Can be a bit girthy and likes to be left alone while eating. Lives out 24/7 currently, but equally happy being in. He likes to have ‘his person’ and will do anything for them.

Only the very best of homes for this special boy - he deserves a fun life (with lots of hacking!) where he can be loved and treated like King!!

Conk is as kind as they come and a pleasure to have around. He raced over hurdles but was too slow to be competitive, came out of racing sound and happy.
He is now owned by a young lady who has enjoyed hunting, hacking and a bit of schooling with him but due to a change of her circumstances, he is looking for a new rider to have fun with.

He is a dream to look after at home,
He’s very good to clip, good with the farrier (had new shoes yesterday- March 14th- , farrier did him by himself, with ease).
He is super hacking alone and in company, not silly/ spooky or nappy and good with traffic. Can ride and lead and he leads well off another horse.
Loads and travels well in trailer and lorry. He has consistent, mild stinghalt in both hind legs, but doesn’t seem affected by this and hasn’t had any lameness issues during racing and the 2 seasons hunting he’s enjoyed with his owner. He’s happy to live in or out, easy to manage on the yard, not a stressy type.

He is an intelligent trainable type who works nicely in an outline and will give anything a go. He could take to either dressage, showjumping or eventing or continue to give enjoyable days on the hunting field.
