WAXWING GO FOR GLORY TOP CLASS SECTION B STALLION

- Please understand This is a heart breaking sale but I am too big for him now, Junior is an absolute pleasure to have on the yard he is like a gelding and is my best friend.
- Junior is a 13.1 registered section B, 7 years old and he is also a licensed stallion.
- He was very successful inhand up and down the country as a yearling/colt
- He qualified the Royal International 2024 at his first ever attempt
- He has been to the Yorkshire show ridden 2023, 2024 he was an absolute dream
- Novice ridden champion, Reserve supreme of show NWC 2023
- He has been successful at the handful of ridden shows he has done, doesn’t need a lot of work for a show or at the show, he will stand on the box all day with a net!
- He would make a great hoys open pony or for the juniors or would make a WHP he’s been over a few fences and is willing, he is also well schooled.
- Will be stabled and travel next to mares he is so laid back.
- He is good to catch, bath, load, trim and to clip I don’t even have to put a head collar on to clip him.
- He will hack out alone or in company, he’s not spooky in anyway.

He really wants for nothing, I am absolutely devastated about this so please only message me for serious enquiries.

We have owned George for 4 years. He has taught my daughter so much and introduced her to compete in several disciplines.

He has not been over campaigned with us, therefore is ready for someone who may well want to compete BSPS, Nursery stakes, M&M WHP, NSEA.

Previously competed in Ireland.

Good to do in all ways. currently fairly out of work due to rider being at boarding school. Has had lami once, recovered well and just manage his grass intake in summer.

We are open to LWVTB (approved home only) or to be sold due to being totally outgrown and new pony purchased.

Serious enquiries only as this is a sad sale of a much loved pony.

Honest advert

11.2h 19 year old gelding with low mileage. Very forward going, attractive and quality pony who was bought for my 5 (now 6 year old daughter) to follow on from a very safe first ridden type. Unfortunately as we have done more and more with him, it has become apparent that he is ‘more’ pony than my little jockey is going to be able to cope with, and he is also greener than we anticipated (despite being 19 this year!). He is a free moving and forward going pony, particularly in open spaces, he is not however, hot or fizzy.

A 16 hand horse in an 11.2 body, we have had a 10 year old boy from Pony Club riding him instead which has been a real success! He’s been to loads of Pony Club rallies and some showjumping competitions with him. It was a surprise to us how green he has been, but he HAS been very rewarding to work with, really improving with every session he has had. The showjumping that we’ve done he’s been well placed every time despite not actually really doing a jump off, because he canters smoothly around the course and he just covers the ground, he does not rush his fences. In his last outing he was 2nd and 1st in the two classes he competed in.

So, who would he suit? An experienced family looking for a quality pony for an smaller older child, 8/9/10 years old to go and have some fun on. He is good to hack both in company and on his own, and he also rides and leads really well, both from a horse and a bike!

He’s been jumping 40/50cm and has scope to go on, but he does need more outings at these lower heights to build his confidence and so he’s seen more of the world, he is still green with fillers. This rider needs to be happy for him to go forwards, and indeed be prepared to ride him forwards, and also generous with him where he still shows inexperience. He would be best suited to regular work.

I do think that he could make the most fantastic gung ho hunting pony for a gusty rider, although I don’t expect he’s done any hunting & he certainly hasn’t with us.

Although he’s busy to handle, he’s fundamentally quiet & my 6 year old can do things with him such as lead him in from the field. He doesn’t kick & the kids can play around him. He is very bonny in the field and is very sweet, sometimes cantering over to see us. We’ve done quite a bit on the lead rein with him & he hasn’t put a foot wrong, but we want a pony to ride off the lead rein.

Ifeel like I’ve said a lot of negative things about him, but he is a really smart pony. My daughter needs a different pony inbetween her first ridden and this pony so she can gain experience on & unfortunately this just isn’t him. I would be tempted to keep him, but my husband has a limited tolerance for what would be a third pony for my two small children.

Home is more important than price, homes will be vetted. It is important for me to find a good match as I really want this pony to be happy in a new home

Phoenix is a super little chap - great fun for a confident rider who wants a pony who has been there and done that.

He's currently ridden by a 10 year old, and he is brilliant - a perfect second pony.

Phoenix works nicely on the flat and loves to jump. He hacks out happily through the woods, in open fields and in traffic both on his own and with company. He's been to lessons away from home with us where he was perfectly behaved, and to competitions in his previous home where he often came home with a rosette.

Phoenix is not spooky and on the whole is a chilled, easy going boy. This said, he is a typical Welsh pony and can sometimes start out a little fresh although he will settle once he starts working. Some days, he'll have a buck into canter; nothing nasty, but this is why he's better suited as a second pony and/or a confident rider.

He's well behaved on the ground and lovely to have around. He'll stand patiently for a groom and is good with the farrier and vet / dentist. He's currently shod in front. He can sometimes be strong to lead in a head collar.

He has no vet history and passed a vetting when we bought him not long ago.

We are based just outside Billingshurst.

Sold with tack and rugs.

Great on the lead rein. Happy to be ridden off the lead with a confident small jockey

He is great on the ground, will stand to be clipped and bathed and is fine for the farrier. He lunges well, hacks alone and in company and easy to turn out and catch. Never bitten or kicked, this would not be in his nature.

Schools happily in walk, trot and canter and has done some polework.

Dylan is not a first ridden pony - he started his education later in life so is still green in new situations. He is in no way naughty but is not established enough to take a young child off the lead without further schooling and education.

Dylan is only for sale due to my new commitments and me being too tall for him as a longer term rider. A kind home that prioritises his education is paramount. Please feel free to pm me for more videos and photos, and any more info.

Open to vetting.

HAZELMOOR SILVER MOON, REGISTERED SECTION B GELDING, 7 YEARS OLD

Lovely George is available on behalf of his breeder, simply because he doesn’t have a job with them & is far too good to become a pet

Really well put together, loads of limb and an outstanding length of rein. We think he would look amazing plaited up and shown as a 13 hand Show Hunter, or a little cracker for the Junior HOYS class.

Straight forward, easy to do, reasonably established with his flat work, his canter needs further refining but is getting better every day.

George loves to hack out and will hack out alone or in company and has really enjoyed beach rides in the past.

Won loads in hand & championships

Up to date with vaccinations & feet etc, currently barefoot.

Currently fit and ready to go on into any desired discipline.

10 star home is required & his breeder would like to follow his progress with his new family.

STRICTLY NO TIMEWASTERS, can be seen and tried at Harrison Taylor’s yard.

Fairywood Charmer (Colin) – Fun, Loving & Talented Family Pony!

13.1hh, rising 5-year-old Registered Welsh Section B chestnut gelding.

Sire~ Waxwing Glimmer

Colin is a forward-thinking, responsive ride who enjoys his work. He’s great to hack alone or in company and always tries his best to to please his rider. While he is sensible, he’s still young and needs a rider who can guide him when needed.

He loves his jumping and is already showing plenty of scope for the future. He’s proving to be a fantastic all-rounder. He goes well on the flat with 3 balanced paces and has lovely soft mouth making him a great prospect for Pony Club, showjumping, and dressage. He would also make a fabulous show pony!

Colin is friendly, affectionate, and loves attention. He’s easy to handle, great to catch, and good with the farrier (he is barefoot). Great to travel but may need a little encouragement to load at times but it’s never been a problem, he is getting better and better every time! He has never bucked, reared, or bolted and always wants to please his rider.

Although kind and safe, Colin isn’t a first pony. He’s best suited to a small, confident young rider who wants to continue his education and have fun. He could also make a great lead-rein pony alongside a confident rider. Colin naturally adapts to his jockey—he’s happy to step up the pace but will also look after younger or more nervous riders.

Wish we could keep him forever but I have sadly outgrown him.

Little introduction needed - Durley Hall Medici. 128 cm JA, 15 yr old Top track gold league pony

Heartbreaking sale of our beloved pony Joey, who wins everyone hearts over! We purchased Joey in 2022 as a first pony for our son who was a complete novice from pony club/lead rein level to start unaffiliated with. With a glittering history with previous owners we didn’t hesitate and what an amazing journey we have been on, now he is ready to do that again with another small jockey!

Starting out through the stepping stones level, we quickly collected numerous clears and placings and slowly progressed through the levels to win our first major Grand Prix at South View in the 11&unders final where we realised this pony is going to be very special! Never coming home without a rosette, we went onto winning the Onley grounds Grand Prix in the winter . That season we stepped up another level with a relatively novice jockey still and won the winter royal international qualifier at Onley indoors to qualify for the final, going clear all 3 rounds!

Consistently jumped the HOYS qualifiers all year for such an unlucky 4 faults again through nerves from the rider and learning at this level but this pony always went through the start and finish, and this was a decent score given the tough tracks throughout the summer premiers. We eventually gained our HOYS 2024 ticket .

At HOYS Joey was amazing he went clear and into the jump off in both his and Freddie debut at HOYS, couldn’t have asked for a better pony to experience it all with. Qualified for London Interantional Horse Show December 2024.

Selected for England home pony teams 2024 jumping 2 x double clear, getting his jockey his England badge.

So many people can vouch for this pony who jumps out of pure heart for the job, very sound and correct and enjoys being a normal pony hacking through the forest. Not a mad type and will educate the smallest of jockeys the ranks of British showjumping. Honest, kind and straightforward ride. Quick in a jump off and loves to be competitive! Always aims to help his riders out and just a pure pleasure to take out and own.Rider now out of 128’s.

Good trial facilities, hundreds of videos from starting out to top level available and references from professional trainers. Based Gt Hallingbury, Hert

Since we have owned Fleur she has gone from being fairly green to a much more confident show jumper. We bought her to give my daughter a chance to produce a little pony and we have attended numerous pony club activities, lots of NSEA and unaffiliated showjumping competitions, and plenty of hacking. She is great in open spaces, with brakes and no problems with traffic. Happy to be infont or behind and hacks alone or with others nice and calmly too.

We are looking for a new home for Fleur as she has sadly been outgrown by my daughter now. She will do best with a confident, rider who wants to take her out to compete and have some fun . This pony is showing real potential now to be a super competition pony, we have competed at 60/70/80 almost always in the ribbons and at home upto 90cm. She is still a little green and needs guidance every now and then, but she is going from strength to strength. Nice and calm in the collecting ring, once in the Arena she is forward going and can get a little strong at times, but will come back to a rhythm, and she does not bolt off, or buck. She works best with confidence and direction from her rider, but loves jumping and is a very willing, sweet pony.

Fleur will happily stand for ages whist being groomed and fussed over, she is sweet and cuddly and likes to nuzzle into your shoulder and lick your face, she is very cute. A very eye catching girl, receiving many compliments when out competing, she schools in a beautiful outline on the flat.

>Fleur travels alone or in company with no issues.
>Easy to load and will happily travel alone or with others.
>All vaccinations and teeth up to date.
>No vices and easy to clip, load, shoe, etc
>Never a problem to catch and can be turned out with others

Charlie was purchased direct from breeder as a three year old and professionally broken then produced by a ten year old.

He qualified last year and this year for nsea finals and clear at hickstead.

Been once to X country and seemed to really enjoy himself.

He is still very low mileage so would only suit a competent rider to further his education.

He is timid in the stable and has a nervous attitude to sudden movements but is handled totally by knowledgable child.

He is good to clip, bare foot and good with farrier, load in a trailer or lorry can catch with a headcollar on.

Sweet pony that just needs lots of love has loads of potential as an all round competition pony.

Would also make a nice workers pony.

Not in any rush to sell him but rider needs a bigger pony now. No stable vices

Vaccinated and teeth up to date serious competition riders only.

This pony will give someone such fun and win rosette's galore! Stunning 13hh Welsh section B chestnut Gedling.

3 well balanced paces and works beautifully on the flat. Absolutely loves to jump, will jump anything out on the XC course, water, ditches. SJ at home 70cm with lots of scope. Sam wants to please and loves his job, he is a perfect competition pony.

He would also be a great pony club pony and we have shown him locally. Fantastic to hack, traffic, open fields.

Sam would like a competent and capable jockey as he likes you to get on and do the job, he's such an athlete and will keep giving more.

He's great to clip, farrier, load etc and has a full clean bill of health.

Selling as I brought for my daughter after her lead rein pony but she's a nervous rider and would be better suited to a plod. She will ride him but he's wasted with us doing very little, I would love to see him go to a home that will embrace his talents. My friend's daughter has been riding him shown in videos and he's a total dream!

Jasmine - If you’re looking for a fun, safe & reliable little pony for your child, wanting to do pony club rallies or low level jumping … look no further!

Jazz will hack out alone or in company, always snaffle mouthed, never sharp or silly. Great to load and travels well, amazing in open fields and doesn’t get strong or silly.

She loves to jump, always wanting to please her rider. Jazz is safe, nothing phases her and a child can mess about with her on the ground or while riding but I would say she is more suited for the 10-13 year old, looking for a second pony to have fun on. Forward into a fence but never strong and very occasionally will give her a buck, purely out of excitement, not to have the rider off but these are very few and far between.

She is amazing to handle, catch, clip etc she’ll stand for the farrier (bare foot) and she’s up to date with vaccinations, worming, chiropractor, saddle fitting and dentist. All this can be seen on viewing. Jazz isn’t a stressy mare but does call for her herd mates if being brought in by herself. She is never nasty and as long as she’s getting attention from someone in the stable, she’s happy!

I have owned Jasmine for 3 years and she has been a little riding school pony for me in the time I have had her, working 3 days a week. Outside of this I have taken her to local shows with staff that have volunteered for me and she’s always been in the ribbons!

This is a heartbreaking sale due to the riding school closing down & I have put it off for so long but unfortunately I can’t keep the ponies on the land.

Jazz is worth her weight in gold for a confident child that wants to go out and have some fun and a pony that a mother can count on. Jazz will be available end of April and can be sold with rugs & tack separately.

Lots of videos & photos of Jazz on request.

Genuine second pony with lots of character and lots of love to give his next little person, he has hacked alone and in company, attended pony club activities such as endurance rides and arena event training, he has been to show jumping competitions and always comes home with a rosette and he has attended various different shows and qualified for STARS two years running and he has potential to go further in what ever discipline required.

He will stand in the show ring all day long, he loves jumping but does need a confident rider to give him confidence but once this partnership is established there will be no stopping them !!!

He stands for the farrier, loads well and travels very well, he is excellent to handle on the yard and in the stable, he has never bitten or kicked, he can sometimes be a bit cheeky to catch but never nasty.

He is a second pony as he can be quite forward and does need riding but everything you would want from a second pony, that is why we bought him but sadly my daughter has outgrown him.

He would however walk on lead rein if desired.

He is always in the ribbons and a 10 star home is a must as he is extremely loved and we would love to stay in touch to follow his progress.

He is still young at 6 years old so will excel even further in the right home.

Cookie is a fun, forward going 2nd Pony.

She has attended all PC Rallies, competitions and had regular lessons with our main instructor. She is fit and ready to go, never sick or sorry. She has excellent manners and is handled by our petite 8 year old daughter who brings her in from the field, grooms her, tacks her up (standing on a box to reach!) she has even helped Clip her and bath her. She also loads her when we go out and about

She hacks alone and in company, is bombproof in heavy traffic, in fact she regularly collects her rider from school and is not fussed by school buses and busy school pick up traffic. She is ridden in open spaces over Bredon Hill and is polite and has brakes. Good to ride and lead.

We bought Cookie to allow our daughter to progress from a very steady first Pony to independently riding and jumping courses.

She has done a brilliant job and now needs to find her next jockey to make that transition from a first Pony to a sportier model! She will come with a full wardrobe and we would like to stay in touch. Lots of photos and videos on request

Very sad sale of this wonderful boy. Professionally broken last summer and then brought on over the winter by my 2 daughters. He has proved himself to have such a trainable attitude and is the easiest 5yr old I know on the ground.

He won his first arena eventing competition qualifying him for the national championships at Eland Lodge. He has done arena hires, working hunter, show jumping and some dressage competitions.

He also ventured out to pony club games training and was great. Only for sale as we are looking for something bigger and he is ready to find his next jockey.

He has wonderful confirmation, clean legs and very straight movement. Would be a wonderful nursery stakes pony but my daughter is out of class this year so we want to find him a new home before the start of this season.

Lots more videos on request. Located in Brereton, Cheshire. Price reflects his need to gain more experience but very reasonable for his quality and attitude.
