He is a pleasure to have on the yard and will hack out all day long, never bothered by busy show atmospheres, no plugs or calmers required, loves being pampered, bathed, clipped etc and handled by children. He loves to jump and his flatwork is excellent having been schooled to a high level. He thrives on being in work and wants to be involved in whatever is going on be it a children's birthday party or picnic. He is lovely on the leadrein and has given many a child their first ever pony ride, he has also pulled sledges in the snow and was previously broken to drive. Never been racing but this is something he would love too. This pony has a big fan club and is admired where ever he goes for his way of going.

He will not be sold to a novice family or FYFR, beginner child coming off LR. He is typical of his breed and would try it on in a novice home although nothing nasty at all, off lead he prefers a competent rider who understands how to get a pony going properly. Ideally we are looking for a home where he will continue to be produced and contest top level qualifiers, he has been closely knocking on the door in all the HOYS qualifiers he has done so far but we have been limited with these due to being so far North. He is an ideal contender for M and M classes, from Leadrein all the way to Open Small Breeds and absolutely loves Working Hunter.

She’s a monkey to catch if not in a routine, however if she knows she’s coming in at a certain time she’s there waiting at the gate.

Once in the stable or in a headcollar she’s super sweet.

She loads and travels well, she’s nice with others, she lives on her own with little fuss. up to date with feet, teeth and wormer.

You just can’t buy these full up, nice looking and correct Shetlands anymore.

We have just done 3 weeks ridden work with her, and whilst I think she would make a nice racer, she’s an unpredictable hot mess under saddle. There is not physical reason she cannot be ridden but I’m not selling her as a riding pony.

Mambo as he is known at home is a loveable, sociable little chap with a huge personality. He is well marked and will be perfect for the junior CHAPS classes. Fully passported with the Shetland Pony Stud Book Society and overstamped with CHAPS. 2nd at Cheshire only time shown, stood on the trailer on his own all afternoon, no bother at all.

Good to load, bath, trim. Up to date with feet, worming and vaccines.

Only offered as my little boy is just not interested at the moment and he’s got too much to offer to be stood in the field waiting. He loves attention and deserves a small person to spend time with him.
