  • Fun 14.2 welsh sec D dun mare, 8yrs old

Easy, friendly person to deal with by adults and children a like. She has been a part of a lovely family for the last couple of years experiencing all aspects of pony club life.

She would suit a small adult or competitive child to perform in all disciplines of PC/RC. Successfully competed upto 80cm, with scope to go further.

Despite being a pony size, she has lovely forward ‘horse’ type gaits, that will excel in dressage arena but equally cover the ground for jumping and XC.

XC schooled, Hunter trailed as pairs.

Great fun to hack, well behave on fun rides.

Ridden by all members of the family. Same to ride in open spaces as on the lanes/tracks.

Can have the odd happy buck but nothing to unseat the rider when she jumps, but not all the time.

Ideally suited to a competent, competitive teenager or small adult.

Masses of videos available on request.

Reasonable priced for a geniune pony.

Lucas is my sons best friend, he has looked after him and they have a partnership where I believe this pony would literally die for him, so this is a very sad sale but my son has grown so much this year its time we let someone else have the utter joy he has brought to us, as we know that this pony has so much more to give someone and will go anywhere inc Hoys and or Badminton GR, would also be a wonderful WHP.

Purchased having only been ridden by adults my son was his first little jockey, so any mistakes on his record since our ownership are totally justifiable. We bought him to event but my son wanted to go JNR BS and he has so much scope that's what he focused on this year with him, even though they had another RCNQ for Badminton and evented all last season along with SJ .

He will do everything, be that with a young or mature rider SJ, Eventing, Team Chasing, Hunting, WHP, PC, or simply hacking and fun rides he will do everything. We just want him to go to a home where he will be loved and enjoyed this is not necessarily competing.

He is a really lovely put together pony, no lumps or bumps, straight, deep and although hes 14.1 he takes up the leg and is a real eye full with a lot of presence and says look at me, paired with the most wonderful kind gentle loving personality.

He has qualified and taken us everywhere we have wanted to go, with many wins placings, qualifications, both BS, BE and Cotswold Cup and got my son his England Badge and place on the Debut Teams at Cavan this year.

He's in a snaffle for everything, and a Myler MB33 to jump.

Bombproof, hacks on on the roads/moor, fun rides, hunts, rides and leads, no vices, loads, travels like a rock, good to shoe, does everything alone or in company. Quite as a lamb at stay aways. Never been lame, comes out everyday with the same enthusiasm for life.

He goes to any show in any arena and never looks or spooks at anything no matter how big the occasion, I know he would go to Hoys and not even need to do the arena familiarisation he doesn't look at anything.
He has NEVER stopped, an utter workman who loves loves to work and does everything with enthusiasm and passion. I cannot explain how truly wonderful he is.

Lucas has taken my small inexperienced young son from jumping 70cm to 1.20cm. Inc Eventing to BE90, Newcomers 2nd Rounds, British SJ National Champs and Blue Chip Champs 2022/23/24, Cavan Home Pony 2024, Cotswold Cup Championships 2022, has a huge amount of scope and wants to jump the biggest of fences but also produces dressage scores in the low 20s.

We stepped him up and had a go a NC 2nd rounds this year, both having never competed at this level, to have one very unlucky pole at each attempt.

He is fit and ready to start the winter shows and training with his new best friend.

He is not strong, his way of going is very Welsh, he is just very enthusiastic and forward, but has been easily ridden since my son was 11yo, if you want wow not go, he is not for you. This pony Loves to jump so needs a partner who shares the same passion.

Please ONLY CALL if interested, do not send messages they wont be replied too.

Indi is a lovely person to have around the yard with ground manners to die for we have lightly shown Indi inhand and wasn’t fazed at all.Indi would make a great allrounder , pony club and equally a mother daughter share. She’s got 3 lovely paces, she’s jumped upto 1m with us with no problem at all, she’s seen all kinds of traffic and nothing fazes her.

Indi is not a first pony but is safe never bucked, reared or bolted. Good for the farrier , load and travel , good to catch from the field but much prefers women to men , good to bath although much prefers a warm bath rather than cold.

Hetti is a rising 4yr old Welsh D Mare approx 143cm. Exceptionally well bred Gwynfaes Amlawdd Wledig x Abergavenny Morning Charm. Shown successfully inhand as a foal and yearling. Hetti has super conformation and a lovely willing temperament.

Good to box catch and with farrier super essy to do. She is lightly backed and was happily riding out in walk and trot on the open beach. Hasnt been in work since beginning of November due to my time restraints.

Unfortunately she has not made the height for me and I feel I am far too big for her. She will make a fantastic Junior Pony.

A top home is essential. Very realistically priced for a quick sale. Located Anglesey - 1hr from Chester.

Erin is every mothers dream and the ultimate PC Allrounder. She’s got the t-shirts and the rosettes to go with it!

She’s done it all, PC rallies, PC Camps, all UA competitions, won Trailblazers finals 85 and 95cm, competed successfully at BE, hacks alone and in company, hunted, beach rides and the list could go on and on.

Erin is now looking for a home where she can enjoy all expects of life. She would be the perfect low level Allrounder for someone, hack, dressage and general fun! She would love a home where she did a bit of everything, someones best friend, jumping 70/80s and adored. Erin is a fun, forward ride but not strong or silly. Would be more of a confident child’s ride only due to being a Welsh and bigger movement that average pony. However she is extremely safe and genuine.

At home Erin is an absolute pleasure to have around. She loves fuss and attention, super for the farrier and 100% to catch, load, hack and handle. She doesn’t need to work everyday and would love to be one of the family.

Absolutely beautiful,  full D, dun, rising 4, gelding. Currently 14.2hh and growing.

This lovely chap has it all. The looks, the temperament and the brain.

Bought last year and carefully produced by ourselves, he has not been rushed or hurried but is ridden sensibly and calmly away in all three paces.

We have not fixated on arena work and just worked him lightly in straight lines and hacking to give him time to strengthen and mature. He works naturally in an outline and just aims to please.

In turn he is an incredibly well rounded bold individual with a fabulous nature.

He is totally unphased by farm life, tractors, quads come past without raising in eye. He is well used to sheep, cows, donkeys.

Brilliant to handle in all ways.

  • Guarantees a dilute foal

Orlando is not your traditional Section D - he is able to offer bone and substance to a lighter TB or WB mare whilst also being able to refine a more traditional D or heavier mare. This combined with his exceptional temperament and versatility under saddle means that he is always a good choice for any mare. And you get the added bonus of being able to predict the colour of your foal! A chestnut mare will always guarantee a palomino, whereas a bay or black mare can produce a buckskin, palomino or smokey black foal.

Orlando is WPCS licensed and is graded with the SPSS, taking Central Grading Champion for 2020 and Reserve Champion for Britain 2020. He is also the first Section D in AES history to be graded with the society. At both gradings he gained fabulous marks but the stand out would have to be 9's and 10's for his jumping ability and an 8.75 for his canter work.

A true allrounder himself, Orlando regularly competes in dressage, showjumping and eventing as well as participating in hunting, fun rides, working equitation and whatever else we happen to fancy trying that day - he has even lead a team chase!

Ollie knows how to switch it on for a competitive rider and dial it back for a child or nervous rider who needs a bit of confidence.

It is no surprise then that Orlando is the ultimate all rounder producer. He has proven himself time and time again, not just in the progeny he produces but for the mare owners who have used him, many of them several times over! He is the type of stallion who will sire a foal who can go out and do a nice medium dressage test on Saturday and a 1.10m showjumping course on Sunday, then hacking out with the kids after work in the week.

The type of horse that you can leave without a rug and know it won't melt in the rain or have a nervous breakdown because it's been left out over night. The type that are intelligent, willing to learn and place implicit trust in you as their owner and rider. And then to top it all off......All of that in a beautiful golden package. What more could you want?

Maz, A quality Pony who can turn her hoof to any job. She is willing and easy and never strong or silly.

Doesn't get lit up in a show atmosphere - has been to Pony Club also.

Works sweetly on the flat and would do a lovely test as has good paces

Good in Open spaces, snaffle mouthed always. Her Talent Lies in showjumping, jumps off any stride and is very careful, she has a big canter so also covers the ground easily, making horse distances and also meaning she is quick against the clock.

Quiet as a lamb on the ground, not at all Mareish in anyway. a real pleasure.

A lot thought of this lovely pony so a 5* home is a must.

Maz's only fault is she doesn't hack soley on her own, if she has a person, bike or another horse to lead the way or walk next to her - she is foot perfect!

Charlie Brown has been in the same home since he was 3 years old. Charlie has always enjoyed hacking, fun rides, schooling and beach rides.

In 2024 Charlie started competing. We have successfully competed at Dressage, Showjumping and Eventing. His results include top 3 placings at Prelim level Dressage and double clears at 70cm eventing. Comfortably clears 75cm out Showjumping and he qualified for the National Horse Events Champs.

Charlie is excellent to hack alone and in company. He will happily go out front or stay at the back. He is great in all traffic including tractors, lorries etc. Charlie schools nicely in a shape in all three paces. He is starting to establish lateral work and changes over a pole too. He is a fast learner and would move up the dressage levels easily with the right rider.

Charlie has a loving nature and is a real character! We think Charlie would make a great family share, hacker, riding club or low level competition horse. He is a fun pony looking for a competent and experienced home to continue his education and fulfil his potential, and although he is never nasty he isn't suitable for solely a novice rider.
This is a very sad sale as I have decided that I would like to move up the levels. I feel that Charlie is much happier sticking at the lower levels.

The right home is paramount, he is a very special pony and deserves the best!

Digby is a lovely allrounder who loves a bit of everything.

Great conformation, loves to jump, doesn’t look at fillers, great movements for a test. Would make a great WHP/ pc pony.
Very honest and snaffle mouthed. Hacks alone or in company. Would suit a mother daughter/ son share. He needs a competent rider.

He’s been out and about plenty doing sj, xc, dressage, camp, gallops and a bit of showing.

He is a Welsh pony so can have his moments but he loves his job and is keen to please. Hes never nasty, just not a kick along. He’s great fun!

Sadly with university I don’t have to time to continue bringing him on. He’s come a very long way in the two years I’ve had him and I would love for him to carry on in that direction. He’s got the potential to go a long way in the right home.

Good to catch, travel and for the farrier.

Dilly is a 14.1, 17 years old, Welsh section D mare. We have had her for three years and we have loved every single second with her. She has taught my daughter so much and is now hopelessly outgrown. We have put this off for as long as we can as we utterly adore her, but she is definitely ready to go on and make someone else’s dreams come true now.

In the three years we have had her she has qualified for the Pony Club Regional Dressage Champs every year, qualified for the PC Regional Showjumping Champs and qualified for the Riding Club Combined Challenge and came 6th.

She won the local show jumping league at one of our local venues and has had numerous wins and placings at local showjumping and dressage competitions, too many to mention!

She is good to hack, shoe and catch. Up to date with teeth and vaccines. We do sedate her for clipping. She is happy at a show in company or on her own. Loves stay away shows, fun rides, PC camps and riding on the beach. Always super safe and a fantastic all round Pony Club pony.

The most loving mare who will literally give you the world. We are heartbroken to have to sell her but she deserves all the love and attention a new family can give her.

Menai The Curator - A very tough decision to part with our gorgeous Bailey, the most genuine pony in every way, he really is a one in a million!

Bailey has taken my daughter safely into jumping HOYS and RI 14hh M&M WH tracks and has proved to be honest and genuine being placed in many qualifiers.

He is sane and sensible but also has that sparkle and presence needed at the top!

Bailey has impeccable manners, is fantastic to hack and steps up a gear to have lots of fun. He is a substantial pony suitable for a competent child or small adult.

We would love him to continue with his WH but he would also be suited to dressage as he is so obedient.

He is a competition pony so not a novice ride, although very sensible, he has the adorable spirit of a Welshie.

This is a difficult decision so please only serious enquiries.
