Poppy is the prettiest little mare with a kind nature and lovely manners, lives in or out, barefoot, good for farrier, good to load and travels well. Not fased by farm traffic, quads, dogs, sheep, cattle, etc.

We’ve done all sorts of pony club activities and hacking at home. She’s a good allrounder but would excel in showing and working hunter, has a good jump in her too.

With a hesitant, not so confident rider Poppy will mess about so not for a complete novice. Happy to discuss this.

Poppy has a Green passport and we’ve had her for 18months, she was in her previous home for 5 years, we would like to keep in touch with any new owners as would the previous owners.

Happy to chat and answer any questions, very honest sale, finding the right home is important.

Based in Northumberland but going to near Darlington for the christmas holidays where she will be available to view.

Pedigree New Forest mare Willow (Jetset Whispering Willow) is by HOYS winner Knavesash Knight and you can certainly tell! Beautifully put together and super cute she started her working life in the show ring doing well in junior ridden classes, before having 2 years off to have a foal (retained by previous owner). We bought Willow in February for my Daughter to bring back into work and produce as a project over Spring/Summer. We've held on to her far too long as we just fell in love.

Willow soon remembered her flat schooling from the show ring and took to show jumping and cross country with no hesitation. Willow has a great jump on her. She has been to lots of unaffiliated show jumping competitions and has never come home without a rosette. She's quite fast and can do her turns. Equally she is quite happy to trot and pop. She jumps fillers and rustic fences and is calm in the warm up. Willow has schooled round our own cross country course and has been out to Boroughbridge Livery cross country locally and to Thornton Lodge where she jumped everything first time. Willow has competed in the Express Eventing at Nothallerton Equestrian Centre where she jumped double clear around the 65cm (jumping some of the bigger jumps along the way) including steps and going through the water.

My nervous youngest daughter has taken Willow to Pony Club over Summer including rallies in open fields and indoor dressage - she behaved impeccably at both even the 'riding with your hands on your head' bit. References available.

Last weekend we took Willow hunting with the bloodhounds. It was as if she'd done it every week of her life. She stood quietly at the meet, was extremely mannerly at all times and was quite happy to stay in a steady canter in the field and take her turn jumping. She returned home calmly and recovered well.

Willow hacks out alone and in company, is very good in traffic and around heavy machinery and farm animals (we live on a busy working farm). She's one of those ponies that is quite independent - happy to turn out or come in on her own or go off alone for an adventure in the horse box.

Willow is easy to do including grooming, catching (comes to call), loading, travelling and clipping. When she arrived Willow was nervous about having her feet picked up. We have worked on this and she is much improved. We used a lickit for the farrier at first and now she's not even bothered. She is barefoot and only need a trim every 8 weeks. Willow has a small mark on her face (barely visible) - this was from an infected fly bite at the end of the Summer which has now healed. This has been vet checked. She is up to date with vaccinations.

Willow has no vices, has never reared or bolted and is always in a simple snaffle (we've never really got her out of a steady canter even when we've tried to go galloping in the park) and has only done a kick out/little buck on the rare occasion she's had a tickle with the schooling whip.

Willow has been a joy to own from day one. If she was a couple of inches taller I would have kept her for my youngest Daughter as she gets on so much better with her than her own pony. Typical. Willow takes on everything in life with enthusiasm and is very nosey and curious around new things, places and people. She's very affectionate and loves a cuddle but has also got that little bit of sass and attitude that makes her so appealing - she has provided us with many months of entertainment - she particularly likes bossing the big showjumpers in the field and will take no nonsense from anyone.

Willow is the ideal second pony for a child and the perfect family friend for a small adult too. The video shows a snapshot of everything mentioned above. This really is a very sad sale of a genuine and lovely pony.

Wanted genuine horse/pony for a fun varied life. Mainly for experienced, ridden all her life mum to hack out with children and ponies and alone around our quiet country tracks and lanes. Must be safe to hack in traffic (we do see some farm traffic) and not be overly spooky/sharp. Good in open spaces and must travel well in a trailer

Ideally to do a bit of riding club clinics and lower level sj/xc, pop a log in the woods or go for an amble along the beach that sort of thing.

Would suit something older or younger as long as has a genuine chilled outlook. We are happy to bring on in other ways. I have a confident capable daughter who is more than happy to hop on if needed and horse wanted to do more exciting things.

We keep our horses at our home in lovely indoor stables with lots of turnout. They want for nothing and are a very much loved part of our family.

Happy to wait if your not quite ready to move your horse on yet as the right horse Is paramount. Would consider sale, loan or lease. Our Email is bluemoon3218@hotmail.com or ring/text number below

* if you’ve tried to call and leave a message previously please do so again as for some reason I couldn’t access them thanks

Potential allrounder: riding Club, pony club mountain & Moorland WHP, dressage, hacking, liberty work, attuned natural horsemanship , best friend!

Heather is unspoilt but very low milage due to no fault of her own. I purchased her in 2017 as a 4 year old and she has only been lightly ridden until this August due to my workload and caring long term for poorly family members. I'd love to keep her for ever but I feel she needs to go out and have fun before she gets any older, and be able to build a relationship with just one owner or family.

At the moment she is being professionally brought on by the well known professional Horse trainer Connie Colfox and her team. Heather is really loving being their and being ridden. Mostly she is now being ridden by a teenager and is really working well and enjoying being ridden on the flat, jumping and hacking out in company and alone.

she is a good strong old fashioned true to type Forester who moves well and rides bigger than 14hh with a good front. she has a green passport and was bred as a performance pony. Born June 2013.

She was purchased by me the owner to do all the things mentioned above as well as doing Equine Assisted Learning an therapy, which is what I do as a job. She has been a very good equine assisted therapy pony with young people and adults, and helped many people, but she's been telling me she just wants a one person or family home. She has always been well handled and has done lots of ground work and, liberty work, and has been doing activities such as ground work, being lead over obstacles, attuned natural horsemanship, mindfulness, and walk and talk in the woodland .

We are looking for a one owner or family who are knowledgable, common sense horse people who will have fun with her.

Please note back in 2017 and 2023 Heather was also poorly for a while, she had injuries to her stifles in 2017 (X rayed and all OK now), and she also came to me with stomach ulcers from an early age which have been treated and healed now, this was discovered in 2022, My vet last confirmed that all is OK in 2023 and advised the best treatment she can have is being ridden and being kept fit. I will have all the info in writing from my vet that all is now healed she was last checked as being all OK in 2023. hence the option to loan before buying. The owner or loaner needs to be sensitive to the fact that other than 2 months before lockdown she has not been ridden much until 23rd of August this year so it's going to really take until the spring to get her really fit.

Viewings at Connie Colfoxe's yard, Bridport, Dorset.

Sorry to have to say this but no nervous or novice people, or big livery yards, or dealers pease.

We have owned Dizzy for 2 years and used her mainly for Pony Club, Show Jumping, some Cross Country, and hacking/ fun at home.

My (now) 14-year-old daughter is relatively small for her age and has competed her locally, including Port Royal and Bishop Burton - 70cm, 75cm & 80cm, and is regularly placed. She has also hunted with her previous owners.

Dizzy has only had 6 owners in her 18 years and currently lives alone at home but has previously been in livery yards.

She is not a spooky pony, is perfect in heavy and farm traffic, and good in open spaces. She is excellent to hack both alone or in company.

Dizzy is not a first pony, and not suitable for a novice rider. She is ridden in a Wilkie for all disciplines but does get stronger when jumping and can throw in an excitable buck. Although this is usually at home or in lessons, and my daughter was never phased, she doesn't tend to buck in the ring when she has a job to do.

We have her on Oestress as she can be mareish at times, but she is not bargey and is easy to handle.

She is good on the ground, loading, farrier, clip, and is fully up to date with Vaccinations and Dentist.

I have many videos and photographs available on request.

This is a sad sale and has been a difficult decision. Serious enquiries only, knowledgeable home only and no timewasters. Genuine reason for sale.

Affectionately named Gorilla, this pony has been there and done it. He has trained several children to ride correctly who have then gone on to become really good successful jockeys. He works properly on the flat, on the bridle and will do nice changes both ways in a snaffle.

Gorilla has loads still to give and is still very competitive with recent wins on his record up to 1m here and in Ireland. He is quick off the mark and turns on a sixpence. But more than this his value is in what he can teach a young person. He will teach your child how to stay in a consistent canter rhythm, and see a stride, he has loads of experience and loads of jump.
Gorilla will take on the fence but can be bitted accordingly.

Gorilla is kind, well mannered, easy, and good in all ways.Reason for sale: bought for 9yo girl still on 128’s, and is too powerful for her, although has won 2x70cm classes (club & BS) on him. Had a vetting in September.

BS number 399398 £633 actual 340 points, 207 Irish points, good to box, shoe, clip etc no vices, no lumps or bumps, fit, sound and ready to go. He is a well known pony, if you put his name in google plenty of results will come up!

Super Smart New Forest Pony

  • Backed this summer

Due to a change in circumstances we are selling our pony.

Joey is a fully registered green passported New Forest Pony. He is a 13’3 4 year old black gelding. He has good breeding and will make an amazing pony

Joey is a young horse who was broken in over the summer. He is walk trot cantering under saddle and hacks alone and in company.

Out hacking he is more confident and relaxed but in the school he can be more tense and spooky. Occasionally he can get his back up when fresh / unsure when getting on or putting leg on.

Although he has never bucked or reared he does need a firm rider as may try and nap (nothing bad just typical young horse trying his luck )

He also has sweet itch in summer months but this is controlled by regular washing and a sweet itch rug.

He is up to date with farrier and vaccinations.

On the ground he is really patient for such a young horse, happy to stand being groomed, good bathing and travelled really well when we collected him.

He can be sold complete with saddle and wardrobe.

Due to his age No nervous or novice riders.

Sensible offers considered.
