This is very reluctant sale of this total superstar pony. Bought out of the field as an untouched five year old. She has given my daughter the best years and has been a pony of a lifetime. Competition wise my daughter has done everything possible on Caramelle, taking her from unaffiliated prelim to competing successfully at pony FEI. Results below:

Caramelle is just the best in any situation, not bothered by traffic of any sort, farm machinery, buses, bin Lorries, you name it she’s not bothered. In open spaces completely safe, loves a canter through the fields. Great on farm rides in company and on her own, she knows her job and completely trustworthy.

It is with very mixed feelings that I offer this pony for sale. He is totally fab!! However, I am 70 and whilst I feel Icey has a great future, I need to step down a gear.

I feel that Icey's future is as an FEI dressage pony with a confident and competitive teenager, or to go up through the levels with a small adult.

Icey has tons of presence and real wow factor.

He has been carefully produced by adults to do dressage and currently has 173 BD Points up to elementary. He is training at medium level at home.

In 2022, my first year competing him, he won prelim gold at the Associated Championships, 3rd overall in a massive class.

The same year we were demo riders for Gareth Hughes at the BD National Convention, which he took in his stride.

In 2023 he won the prelim overall at the Associated Championships , on 73.28%.

My health prevented me form doing much competing in 2024 but he is ready to go again now.

Icey is a fun hack, good to shoe, teeth, physio. Easy to catch and he loves attention!!

He is a little dramatic about having his ears trimmed or clipped!!

Our beloved pony, Steendieks Dali Gold, is now, with heavy hearts, regrettably offered for sale. Dali’s rider has aged out, and it is time for this easy-to-handle, well-traveled 10-year-old superstar to continue his remarkable career with a new partner.

This combination competed for Ireland at two FEI European Championships (2023 & 2024) and has multiple wins at FEI level nationally and extensive placings internationally, including a win at Hickstead International CDIP (2024).

We are heartbroken to part with this legend but are also filled with excitement to see Dali embark on the next chapter of his journey with another passionate rider.
