We have owned her for three years and she has been an absolute joy.

She has taken my non dressage daughter to elementary level, regularly scoring in the 70's.

She has three beautiful expressive paces and is very eye catching.

Very easy to handle, shoe, box, clip. She hacks alone or in company and travels to shows happily alone.

She is up to date with vaccinations, teeth, farrier.

Would be most suitable for an ambitious young rider or small adult.

The Longhouse Chinoiserie

Chino is a striking 14hh 7 year old chestnut mare. She shows all the capability for the FEI work and is running through the pony team test in her training.
Chino is currently competing at BD elementary gaining great scores with multiple wins at this level.
Chino is responsive without being sharp and has 3 super paces which are consistently well marked. This, combined with her trainable and willing attitude makes her a fantastic FEI prospect.
To take to shows and handle Chino is a mother’s dream, she is at her happiest on a show ground. Chino has been to regionals, countless premier leagues and the Sheepgate U25s and behaves exactly the same as she does at home. Chino will load onto anything and happily travel for hours or wait at a show ground for as long as needed. To jump and hack Chino is a fun teenagers pony and she has accompanied my young warmbloods out hacking, proving to be a sensible example to them. Chino will happily walk round the block or equally loves a blast across the fields.
Chino has had a few sessions under a top GB team rider who has been nothing but complementary of her quality, potential and willing to please trainable attitude.

Chino is by Premium graded German dressage stallion ‘Hilkens Charismatic’, who is by a son of ‘Champion De Luxe’ and out of a Dam who has produced 6 licensed stallions.
Chino’s dam has also produced successful BD youth ponies, some of which are being produced as FEI ponies.

Chino is a fit, young dressage pony and would thrive in an ambitious competition home. She is a mother’s dream for a keen BD youth/pony rider. She is currently trained by a 5’7 rider and takes up the leg nicely but also been ridden by an 11 year old. She would easily step down for a younger rider or equally step up and do the FEI work.
Chino is a pleasure to have around and is ‘Miss Reliable’ on our yard.
She is currently barefoot, has never had a sick day, will be clipped without a head collar and is good for the dentist, farrier, physio etc.
