  • The ultimate schoolmistress
  • Push button ride
  • Honest and genuine pony

Quality new forest 14.2 JA Mare 18 years young still full of life looking for her next home due to no fault of her own other than my younger sister has simply lost interest !

Registered Name : Pleuny Esme

Some highlights of Esme

- pony club type

- won the NSEA 1.10 in individual 2022

- perfect BS starter pony

- hacks alone or in company in open spaces or roads

- brilliant at cross country

Has done unaffiliated dressage

- loves beach rides

Esme is the ultimate schoolmistress, has 3 lovely flowing paces , does her lateral changes and is snaffle mouthed at all times. Esme is straight and easy to a fence, she will step up or down for her riding she’s a very kind and caring mare that looks after her rider. Esme has been ridden by a 7 year old girl who is straight out of a riding school, she has ridden her in open fields, on the flat and jumped her at home she is a saint ! She has also been used as a lead rein pony for my severely autistic 4 year old nephew to learn to ride on!

Esme will never take offence to her rider if she is deep to a fence or on a long stride she will always take a miss and never holds a grudge, she easy kind and forgiving. She really is worth her weight in gold and a hard type of pony to find??

Esme has an FEI passport is FEI Life Height Measured she has previously jumped abroad !

A type hard to find, each previous home she’d had prior to us she has been sold through word of mouth she is a known mare on circuit. Esme has good record up to 1.10 nationally and internationally.

Esme is a lovely pony to work with and have around she is a yard favourite. Esme is good around cars or heavy machinery, good clip, shoe, load, travel, dentist etc

She would be a great mother/daughter share, pony club type or a bs starter as she is so versatile. I rode her myself until I was 8 months pregnant and she was the first horse I got back on just 4 weeks after my c section that just shows how safe and sensible she is. She just wants to please her rider and be loved.

Reasonably priced for what she is as she is a hard sort find.

Up to date with teeth, physio vaccinations, worming and farrier

Banagher Gort aka Ronnie. Absolute dream of a pony - gorgeous mother-daughter share for sale due to my daughter wanting to move onto horses.

Up to date with all vaccinations, teeth and worming. He is great to load, clip, shoe (he is shod on his front two) and more.

A real eye catcher with 3 great paces and a bold jump. With the right rider he will go far.

He has schooled up to 1m 20 and competitively up to 1m with my daughter, scope to go higher. Competed up to prelim in dressage, been placed every time, with some more work he could shine. Loves his gridwork and polework. He is good to hack in company or alone. He has been to the beach on many occasions and was really well behaved. Needs a confident rider, so no novices please. He has team chased around the Cotswolds Intermediate team chase with one of his previous owners - he will turn a hoof to anything.

Impeccable manners, honest, one in a million pony, sorts himself out with strides and will dig you out of situations. Has great brakes and can turn easily for jump offs. He is a superstar to stand all day long at shows with plenty going on around. More of a woah than go but can up a gear when asked.

With my daughter he had been to multiple stay aways, and behaved perfectly, super calm and chilled, including at Stoneleigh for the Academy Championships 2024 where they went double clear both days to come 5th as a team out of 45 counties. Just missed out on a bluechip qualifier for 2025. Registered BS and has jumped up to foxhunter with previous owner, still in British novice with 116 points. My daughter has mainly competed unaffiliated with him, they have had many successes together, his BS record does not reflect this as the pressure just gets to my daughter, no fault of his own.

Really sad sale, more pictures and videos on request.

We would possibly consider part-ex for a horse.

Carrie is a lovely stamp of a pony who is talented and experienced in all disciplines.

She is a very sweet, kind natured and well behaved pony. Currently handled and looked after by 12 year old girl who hacks her out alone, Carrie is equally as good to hack when in company both on roads and when in open country.

Carrie enjoys her jumping, and is bold and careful. She is more forward going to jump but is sensible and Looks after her rider, a quick thinking clever pony who sorts her own strides into a fence. She has over £500 BS points jumping. She competes at 80 - 90cm and qualified for the National Championships last year both in the Stepping Stones and the Bronze League final. • For a wonderful, kind soul

We are looking for a superstar pony for our petite 8 year old (120cm) son ranging from 11.2 - 12.2. Would even consider a sporty shetland.

He is confidently walking and trotting off the lead. Canter is still wobbly. He is trotting over small cross poles.

He is a wonderful, kind soul with a quiet determination and big dreams and needs a pony who will help to get him fully established in all paces off the lead and introduce him further to jumping. Something that can possibly fill a first and second pony role.

Will have a varied life to include lessons, hacking, NSEA jumping competitions and pony club.

We are an experienced family home and have a younger sibling waiting in the wings, so would like something that we can treasure for many years.

Sensible budget

  • Talented enough for pony club
  • Out and out confidence giver

Gorgeous 2018 14.2hh Irish cob bay mare suitable for the whole family, this gorgeous cob has worked in a riding school, she will tolerate complete novices and is forgiving for someone learning the ropes or lacking confidence, however not only is she super easy, she is also talented.

We have jumped her up too 100cm, she shows lots of scope and is again forgiving, she knows her job and is certainly a confidence giver in every single way. She never looks, not spooky and loves to please.

She’s bold with coloured fillers and certainly not the type to have a stop, great cross country and has done most riding club activities. She’s happy to lollop round on the buckle but will also do a nice test and she works in beautifully, snaffle mouthed with three comfortable paces.

This super mare enjoys hacking, unbothered by the heavy, noisy or fast stuff, she’s a happy hackers dream, the same if she’s solo or with friends.

A kind girl on the ground, a much loved pony and a firm favourite here, mother daughter share, family pony or riding schools dream all day long!. Open to any get or trainer

Oreo - 148 8 year old mare

  • Qualified BN 2nd rounds 2025
  • Qualified Disco 2nd rounds 2025
  • Qualified Newcomers 2nd rounds 2025

Kind, honest pony that loves the job. Easy to do and handle. Loves to hack, would be brave XC

Plenty of scope and ability with the heart to go with it. I really think this one would go all the way with a good jockey.

No health issues, no vices, no injuries.

Up to date with everything, back, teeth, vaccinations etc.

Only for sale as rider now 16 and on horses.

I backed this pony and produced her so we know full history, my client then purchased her (but kept her based with me) as her second pony and has jumped her BS going from strength to strength.

The rider was learning as was the pony and together they have had great success, the pony doesn't mind helping you out and always aims to please.

She is a fast learner and is finding more and more scope, pops over 125 at home without batting an eyelid (not that we do that often).

Really sad sale - no one wants to see this pony leave the yard but rider now on horses and the reality has set in that having a pony you can't compete BS is tricky to fit in with busy horse show schedule and school.

5 figures (starting with a 2) Please WhatsApp for more details if genuinely interested 07545476485 based Buckinghamshire — at Queenz Equestrian.

DO YOU HAVE A HORSE OR PONY SUITABLE FOR THE RDA?

WANTED ON LONG TERM LOAN / PURCHASE

Ref #: 249896
  • If you think your equine has what it takes, please contact one of the groups below
  • If you think your equine has what it takes, please contact one of the groups below

One of the main issues that RDA groups face is finding an Equine to suit the needs of the participants in their group.

We are regularly contacted with offers of Equines that are ‘the ideal RDA horse or pony’ when actually what is ideal for one group may not be for the next. We are trying to move away from the stereotypical view that RDA Equines are elderly and somewhat static, our horses and ponies need to be fit, healthy and athletic to cope with the lifestyle in an RDA group.

They can range from smaller, forward going ponies to weight carrying cobs and can take part in a range of disciplines from Riding to Carriage Driving, Vaulting to Show Jumping and Endurance.

If you contact an RDA Group about your Equine please be prepared to fill in an Equine Initial Interest Form which will ask you many questions about your horses’ temperament, health history, experience and lifestyle. Many groups will prefer to have an equine on trial to make sure they are suitable for the job.

For long term loans and purchases they will also be required to have a Pre-Purchase Examination.

If you think your equine has what it takes, please contact one of the groups below.

Baledon Song of the Sea.

Successfully competed and qualified, bronze medal winner.

Outstanding registered section A gelding child's pony for sale. I have owned Sparky since he was a 2 year old, he has been correctly produced with us and is a school master. He is a lead rein or could be first or second pony. He is 6 years old and in his prime.

He is up to date with his vaccinations, teeth, back, feet and worming and is open to vettings. This stunning pony has given children confidence from the age of 3 to teenage and has competed successfully at county level lead rein, with a teen rider in open classes and was a bronze medal winner in hand. He would be ideal for pony club camps, having also competed showjumping and whp and has a confident and scopey jump clearing 70cm courses with ease.

We’ve done cross country, beach and river rides, hacked on roads and open spaces. This pony has grown up with my daughter from the age of 2 to now also 6, she has always handled him at home and shows with no issue at all, as he has a calm temperament and is very well mannered. He has never bitten or kicked and has no nasty habits or vices.

My daughter has competed in young handlers classes in busy shows on her own as a 5 year old and he is responsive and always placed, having qualified numerous times.

She loads and unloads him on the box on her own, washes him for shows and he is always perfectly behaved.

Serious enquiries only please as home is very important to us.

Milly was bought by us just over a year ago as a fun pony for my daughter to compete in Cradle Stakes, unaffiliated sj and arena eventing. She has proved to be a great first competition pony.

She will trot the cross poles with my youngest daughter then turn up the speed and win with my older daughter. She has won unaffiliated with us at Aintree, Northcote and Morris equestrian and has also won lower level BSPS cradle stakes classes. She has competed at arena eventing with us and again won around 50cm and 60 cm classes.

We feel that Milly would be best suited to an established small jockey ready to go out and do unaffiliated sj/NSEA/trailblazers/ arena eventing/ pony club. She likes the fun things and enjoys an established jockey. She did a BSPS camp with us and went through the water, ditches , steps etc on cross country no problem and although she can be forward on the cross country she has brakes . She also very much seemed to know the score with games.

When we purchased Milly we were not informed that she had had laminitis in the past. We had her insulin levels checked and these were raised but she does not have Cushings. We have managed her by limiting her turnout to a couple of hours a day but we do not soak her hay.

This is an honest sale as due to my lucky children having other ponies and us doing mainly working hunter shows, Milly is not being enjoyed as much as she should be.

We are based in Cumbria. Please whats app for videos

  • Knowledgeable, 5* Home with Kind yet Competitive Teen Awaits
  • Ideally Established in Eventing & PC 90+ with an Honest, Kind Personality
  • Nothing Young & Green. Preferably Older Schoolmaster Types.

Our daughter has been riding and owned ponies since she was little. She is incredibly kind, hard working and dedicated not only to her equestrian partners but with everything she tackles.

She has had a tough 18 months with her current partner which has seen her carrying out continuous rehab only to be told that he now has to retire at the young age of 7.

During his period of injury, he demonstrated explosive behaviours, in which Sophie has endured many frightening episodes, which understandably so, have left her still very passionate about riding but very nervous.

She has been competing at PC80/90 level and we are seeking a kind, gentle, schoolmaster type for Sophie to go back out and enjoy a varied life of hacking with friends, attending pony club rallies and camps and competing at 90+ with her peers in eventing and tetrathlon.

Must be good on the ground, with farrier, vet etc. Good to load, travel and stay away.

Our home can offer small yet 5* livery facilities, near Nairn in the Highlands, Scotland. We’ve large, well maintained paddocks, flood lit school, direct access to lovely hacking and an incredibly professional support structure of vets, farriers, saddle fitters and physios as well as regular coaching.

References available and also must be able to provide references.

Must be open to vetting and any health issues disclosed.

Ideally located for viewings in Scotland or North East/West England.

Ruby has been sensitively and professionally developed with her best years ahead of her, with an amazing scopey jump but will happily step back down to teach another child. Good flat work (ridden in a snaffle), keen to please.

Ruby is good to hack (alone and in company), plenty of road hacking experience; current home has plenty of farm machinery and she is unfazed by it. Can be turned out 24/7 or in at night, and amazing at shows (including stay aways), up to date with vaccinations, dentist and physio. She has never been lame and is never sick or sorry for herself.

Ruby has been educated in the last 12-18 months with established changes and significant experience of most disciplines, so would make an ideal Pony Club/NSEA/Leisure pony. She is fit and ready to go for her next jockey.

Ruby has only had 2 homes since being backed - testament top her character and the joy she brings.

Will come with some tack and a full wardrobe of rugs.

Please message in the first instance to express your interest, and any questions you might have. We have great facilities for anyone to try Ruby (Nottinghamshire); open to any vetting.

Ruby is a fun competition pony, not suitable for novices and unlikely to suit a nervous rider.

ABSOLUTELY NO TIME WASTERS (those only with a genuine interest in viewing-buying, but I will answer as many questions you like before viewing to understand if Ruby is right for your family)
