Apple has been with us for nearly 3 years but is hopelessly outgrown so on the lookout for her next home. With us she has mostly been used to teach my daughter to ride, for the occasional pony club rally, local arena hires and shows and hacking out. She will hack out alone, and prefers to follow if in a group.

She is easy on the ground, leads well and will stand to be groomed for as long as you want if there is a haynet nearby! She has always been cared for by my daughter, and she is easy to do everything for. She is good for the farrier (front shoes) and is up to date with vaccines and teeth. Never sick or sorry.

She currently lives out at night with another mare, but has been on her own and in larger herds too. She doesn't mind individual turnout and is happy to come in. She comes straight to you in the field.

She would suit a whole range of riders, from a small novice to a competent teen or an older rider. She has been used on lead rein. She will step up or down dependent on the rider.

Priced to sell due to needing the stable for new larger pony for my growing teen.

Comes with bridle and some rugs, professionally fitted saddle negotiable separately.

14’2 14 year old mare. Has brought my daughter on from a nervous 10 year old girl who would only walk to a super confident teenager that loves hunting and fun rides, that will jump anything inront of her, (ditches, hedges, walls, gates and rails)

She’s great in open spaces,will hack alone and in company, loves the beach.

She’s not a fan of going around the arena 7 days a week but would happily play over the jumps or play gymkahna games.

Has attended pony club camps (don’t enjoy the dressage part) but my daughter and Ellie had the best time ever!

William is a perfect balance of leg and breaks - steps up or down according to rider.

Hacks like a dream… planes / trains / cars / bikes / dogs / tractors etc, he doesn’t bat an eye. Alone or with friends, he’s happy to go.

He has competed at many shows with us and is always placed and impeccably behaved. He has done in-hand / lead-rein / lead-SJ.

Prior to us, he was in his last home for 5 years as a kids PC pony and mature ladies hack / commons ride.

Lives in / out / mixed. We have 24/7 field shelter and turnout and he is brought in of a PM during the winter.

No vices (except his clumsy feet if you don’t mind yours)

Loads 100%. Take him alone or with a friend to show he’s still the same. Will stand with a net all day. If he travels with another, there’s no bother for his travel buddy to go off and leave him there.

Up to date with everything teeth / flue / feet / wormers

He came to us fully clipped so he spent a year with that presentation as we went straight into show season, but we grew him out as our preference, please see the hacking photo taken very recently.

He is perfect to clip. Now that we have grown his legs and mane back, we don’t clip his legs, they are otherwise a little bit ticklish to clip.

He’s on a replacement Petplan passport so has been registered as 1st January. However, technically he would be rising 15 this spring / summer.

Too much to say about him, he’s worth his weight in gold.

We got William to help me after a conference knock set me back and he has fulfilled that role (and then some) the kids have also been enjoying him too.

Circumstances see his reluctant rehome.

Mambo as he is known at home is a loveable, sociable little chap with a huge personality. He is well marked and will be perfect for the junior CHAPS classes. Fully passported with the Shetland Pony Stud Book Society and overstamped with CHAPS. 2nd at Cheshire only time shown, stood on the trailer on his own all afternoon, no bother at all.

Good to load, bath, trim. Up to date with feet, worming and vaccines.

Only offered as my little boy is just not interested at the moment and he’s got too much to offer to be stood in the field waiting. He loves attention and deserves a small person to spend time with him.

We have had Bear on loan for 5 years where he has taken my daughter from lead rein to jumping 80+. He has been to loads of PC rallies from dressage, sj, arena eventing, xc and musical rides. We did try games but it's not for him. He has also been driving but not with us.

He will hack all day and not bothered by any size of machinery, dogs, bikes, runners etc on his own or in company. Beautifully schooled as a youngster, he has all the right buttons and is gorgeous to ride ( I ride him well as my daughter).

All up to date with everything and has never had a day sick or sorry. Will travel on his own or with others in a trailer or lorry, has never kicked, reared, bucked bitten or ever shown any hint of nastiness but does need sedation to clip. Has been barefoot since we have had him and has great manners in his stable, happily letting my daughter clamber on.

He is however a coloured cob and is v clever and cheeky so needs an experienced handler, he will walk over you to get to a piece of grass if he thinks he can but once the rules are in place he is a s good as gold.

He does take all his confidence from his rider so not a novice ride and although will happily go to ls of little shows etc he is NOT a competition pony and likes to be busy with a variety of things.

Belle - The most loving family type pony, a good all rounder or equally the perfect mother/daughter share.

Belle has been with me 4 years, being a riding school favourite. She will wait patiently for the rider to mount, never strong or silly and snaffle mouthed at all times.

She participates in local shows and hacks out through woods, busy roads and in open spaces. Belle will easily pop round a course of 60-90cm courses with fillers and had been placed at local shows.

Belle is up to date with her vaccinations, worming, chiropractor, dentist, saddle fitting and farrier (barefoot). Belle absolutely loves attention, the sought that follows you in the field for a fuss or a bum scratch! She prefers the human company over anything else.

When I had Belle, we didn't realise she was in foal which came at a big shock! Belle produced a beautiful filly back in April 2022 and recovered really well. Since having a foal she has been an asset to the riding school and all the children love her!

She is never nasty, bites or kicks

Belle is an ideal 2nd pony for a teenager wanting to do schooling and low level competing or a mature person looking for something reliable and safe!

This has been a heartbreaking sale as the riding school comes to a close the end of April. Belle could make a confident teenager very happy with what she can offer. Belle will be available the end of April but accepting viewings now.

This lovely pony has a great character, she had a foal so was later starting now has been long reined, lunged, walked out in hand and is brave and honest, easy to handle.

Sat on once and wasn’t worried at all but I feel to big to continue her education. Good in traffic and loved a loose jump and had a great natural technique.

Kind around children I think she will be versatile from lead rein, show pony or pony club.

Up to date with vaccination, teeth, trim and wormed. Easy to load and travel.

Nicely marked. I cannot fault this pony, you’ll either end up with a family favourite or you will double your money with more work as she has a great brain. Including tack and rugs

Honest Advert!!

Fingle is a super, striking little chap who is incredibly kind, he is wonderful with my 2 year old daughter and doesn’t move a muscle when she sits on him. He was born on Dartmoor and is classed as a Hill Pony. He was totally wild when initially purchased.

He lives in or out and doesn’t mind if he is left on his own at any point (a haynet and hes happy!) Good for the farrier to trim.

He was professionally broken in as a 4yo and even learnt to pop a fence HOWEVER he has been literally used as a companion for the last 2 years and has gone slightly feral! In no way nasty, he is just a worrier and so needs patience and time to remind him that life isn’t scary! He comes in at night with my event horses and goes out during the day currently and so is very used to being mucked out around etc and isn’t fazed by daily life on a yard. He does all this of his own accord though, I don’t even bother with a headcollar which whilst it’s very cute…it hasn’t helped with his love of “doing his own thing”!! Hence why he really deserves someone to put some work back into him.

He is the ultimate good-doer and embarrassingly is rather overweight currently (think “cuddly”!) however he is also very much of a solid build and I think he would excel at driving.

A loving, patient and calm home is sought for this sweet lad. He is wasted here and isn’t being done justice at all and I need to get something smaller and far older and wiser for my little girl to learn on.
