Exceptional 148cm Sports Mare – Easter Rose

Introducing Easter Rose, a stunning British-bred 5-year-old mare with a bright future ahead. Standing at 148cm, she’s a versatile and talented sports horse with a heart of gold.

Rose has been lovingly produced by children and petite riders, and she rides far beyond her years. She’s a quick learner with a kind, trusting nature and a genuine desire to please. With her natural talent and scope, she has the potential to develop into a top-level BS or BE pony.

Brave and careful, Rose is very straightforward to handle, rides like a dream, and is always eager to try her best. She excels in showjumping and cross-country, and with a few finishing touches, she’ll be ready to affiliate. Jumps 1.10 easily,

On the flat, she rides beautifully in a snaffle, working in a lovely outline with expressive, balanced paces. She’s well-behaved in open spaces, both alone and in company, and is comfortable with all types of traffic.

A true all-rounder pony club prospect, she’s ideal for mother-and-child sharing, or for a rider looking to develop and reach the stars. Would equally suit someone wanting a safe, quality, straight forward friend to hack and have fun with.

No vices, a genuine, honest pony ready for her next chapter!

100% in all ways. Open to any inspection.

I could go on about Copper all day, a pony who I really feel has it all and I will be very sad to see him go.

Copper has been with me just under a year now and he does it all.

To start with Copper is a complete gentleman on the ground he is cuddly and loving but polite in all ways. Good to clip, box, trim/shoe, dentist tie up etc.

On the flat copper works sweetly and correctly in three beautiful rhythmic paces, the dressage judges love him.

Copper has show jumped up to 90cm and has scope for way more, he never stops, is mega honest and not at all spooky or silly with fillers.

Copper is incredible XC so bold and fearless, jumps ditches, into water, anything you point him at on whatever stride, he has competed in a few events last year and was fantastic every time.

Copper had 3months off over the winter, he was good as gold to get back into work, I then hunted him - we both had the best time and he was fantastic to hunt jumping everything - standing quietly between lines and at the meet.

Overall Copper is a one of a kind pony and anyone that would be lucky enough to have him would be the luckiest person alive!

Where do I start. Immy is one of the sweetest, bravest and honest ponies I've ever had the chance to own.

She has been with us since September last year and since then we have done pretty much everything together.

We go out most weekends to compete, nice hacks or just arena hires. She’s impeccably well behaved and self loads onto our trailer.

She hacks out in the heaviest of traffic on the buckle end, she absolutely loves jumping and dosnt look at anything, she wouldn’t know how to stop . All she wants is to get to the other side.

She’s a buzzy pony that wants to please her rider, she has no ridden vices but she can be a keen ride at times so for this id say no novices but she’d suit most riders be it a small adult who wants to dabble in everything or a competitive young rider.

She will happily go in open spaces for a canter with large groups then come straight back to walking on the buckle.

She’s up to date with pretty much everything , she’s barefoot and super cheap and easy to keep so she’s really is the full package.

I’m currently using a friends tack so whilst she dosnt come with a saddle I’m happy to help out with rugs/transport etc.

She loves a fuss, she falls asleep when she’s had her physio (purely maintenance along with my showjumpers)

She enjoys a bath with our hot shower.

And really nice pony to be around.

There’s much more to say so please get in touch, no time wasters she is only for sale due to lack of space and other horse commitments.

Westwick Romwan, Aka Joey is a lovely family pony. This is a really sad sale as a change in circumstances forces the sale.

He has been lightly backed but due to lack of rider he will need re-starting. He is super laid back and great with young children. We bought him directly from his breeder as a 2yr old so all history known. Lives out all year, but can be stabled when needed.

He loads and travels well, and has been to an in-hand show.

He is used to traffic. He is the sort that when we were backing him we could drop him and then restart no problems.

Good for the farrier and horse dentist. No health issues.

He will make someone a lovely family pony.

He comes with his Saddle company fully adjustable saddle and bridle.

We bought Fleur so that my daughter could go out and start competing on a faster, forward going pony after spending a couple of years on a more kick along pony that could jump a max of 70 courses. Fleur however is a very kind natured pony and is suitable as a 2nd pony, she loves x country and show jumping and is has been great at all the Pony Club activities we have taken her to. We also compete for the school teams at NSEA and won the regional championships in 2024.

She's great fun to hack, is sensible in open spaces and will happily go in front, alongside or behind with other horses, she will also happily hack alone and my daughter is very trusting of her.

We are looking for a new home for Fleur because she has sadly been outgrown by my daughter now who has really shot up in height recently. She will do best with a confident, rider who wants to take her out to compete and have some fun . This pony is showing real potential now to be a super competition Mare, we have competed at 60/70/80 almost always in the ribbons and at home upto 1m. She can be a little green at times due to her age and needs guidance every now and then, but she is incredibly willing to please.

She does not bolt off, or buck and she goes best with confident instructions and direction from her rider, but loves jumping and is a very willing, sweet pony.

Fleur will happily stand for ages whist being groomed and fussed over, she is sweet and cuddly and likes to nuzzle into your shoulder and lick your face, she is very cute, kids absolutely adore her. A very eye catching pony, receiving many compliments when out competing, she schools in a beautiful outline on the flat.

>Fleur travels alone or in company with no issues.
>Easy to load and will happily travel alone or with others.
>All vaccinations and teeth up to date.
>No vices and easy to clip, load, shoe, etc
>Never a problem to catch and can be turned out with others

We are looking for a kind all rounder - To have fun with confident competent teenage daughter. Competing sj, xc, arena eventing, ode etc

And to enjoy hacking with experienced mum escorting out the kids and hacking through the quiet countryside, moors and woods. As well as the odd riding club activity, lesson or clinic.

Would love something with a fairly honest jump and that isn’t too sharp. Can be younger if level headed attitude or older maybe needing a step down. It will be a varied fun life.

Must be good in traffic although our lanes are quiet we do meet the odd tractor. We have a trailer so must be happy to travel in one.

In return we can offer a loving , experienced home at our own indoor stables with lots of turnout, with just our other horses. We have great riding and are just down from Dartmoor. Our horses want for nothing and we are happy to meet any extra needs. We find it hard to sell on so we hope the right horse will stay with us forever.

South west based but will travel a few hours to view. Will wait for the right one if you’re not ready yet. References available if needed. Decent budget. Please phone, message or WhatsApp

Moses the jumping cob needs a new home

I have debated for months whether to sell or keep Moses for my daughter having advertised him previously but with her already having 3 others Moses is up for sale. He was originally bought for my son who has pretty much out grown him and discovered motor bikes instead.

We have owned Moses for over 3 and a half years.

We have done pony club camp, hunted him, show jumped him, beach rides, cross country schooling, led from him and lead off him.

Moses is suitable for all levels, I have hacked out with a novice who could just about trot on him and my daughter (9years old) is jumping him over 85 courses currently. My son qualified for Hartpury in 2023 over 60 cm on him.

He does not get strong in open spaces and is more leg than pull.

Moses loves to jump and jump. We have schooled him over 1 metre and he has so much more to give. His scope is endless and comes out of nothing.

Under saddle Moses is not spooky at all, tractors, trailers, lorries, nothing seems to bother him. He is an excellent Nanny horse.

On the floor he can be nervous if he thinks you are going to tell him off. He thrives on praise, fuss and reassurance and loves a brush and cuddle.

Would love to keep in touch, he is loved and will be missed.

Good for farrier etc

Based Taunton, Somerset

Prince is a beautiful pony inside and out, he has been with us since he was not long broken. My then 6 year old daughter has produced him herself. She is now 12 and hopelessly outgrown him. She has had her new pony a year now but we have just not been able to come to terms with selling him but we know he now needs his next person to love him and give back the love like he has for us.

He has done just about everything except games and Hunting. He loves a beach ride. He is happy jumping but he likes a varied life, great in the show ring but unfortunately my daughter was not interested in the showing side.

He is a forward responsive safe ride, so it would depend on your child’s riding ability if he would be ok as a first ridden. He will do it no problem but he does not like a rider that will pull him in the mouth and tip all over him.

Having said that he is currently being ridden by a complete novice and has come back down no problem and has looked after her.

Ideally I would like a family that has siblings so that he has a long time with his next home just like he has with us.

I will be picky who comes and views him so pleas don’t be offended if I ask for videos before I let anyone book a viewing.

DO YOU HAVE A HORSE OR PONY SUITABLE FOR THE RDA?

WANTED ON LONG TERM LOAN / PURCHASE

Ref #: 249896
  • If you think your equine has what it takes, please contact one of the groups below
  • If you think your equine has what it takes, please contact one of the groups below

One of the main issues that RDA groups face is finding an Equine to suit the needs of the participants in their group.

We are regularly contacted with offers of Equines that are ‘the ideal RDA horse or pony’ when actually what is ideal for one group may not be for the next. We are trying to move away from the stereotypical view that RDA Equines are elderly and somewhat static, our horses and ponies need to be fit, healthy and athletic to cope with the lifestyle in an RDA group.

They can range from smaller, forward going ponies to weight carrying cobs and can take part in a range of disciplines from Riding to Carriage Driving, Vaulting to Show Jumping and Endurance.

If you contact an RDA Group about your Equine please be prepared to fill in an Equine Initial Interest Form which will ask you many questions about your horses’ temperament, health history, experience and lifestyle. Many groups will prefer to have an equine on trial to make sure they are suitable for the job.

For long term loans and purchases they will also be required to have a Pre-Purchase Examination.

If you think your equine has what it takes, please contact one of the groups below.
