CARRICKNAGAT DUN - 133cm 11yo Gelding.

Gerry is an absolute mother’s dream to have at home on the yard and away at a show.

Gerry is the ultimate example of a competition gentleman. Gerry knows his job and does not require calmers, hours of working in or a week of drills at home.

Gerry has spent his time in previous homes contesting in ODE’s, NSEA, SJ, Dressage, Hunting and working hunter.

Gerry is currently entered for his first BE season where we see his future as a top Under 18s team pony.

Gerry’s flatwork is highly established and he is out competing at novice dressage level.

Currently jumping 90/1m WHP and Gerry will be a top 133whp for HOYS with his excellent conf and limb. A cracking uphill wag of going always gains Gerry fantastic Jump scores.

Recently stepped down for a young boy to compete in Nursery stakes.

At home Gerry carries a side saddle and would be an absolute picture out hunting.

Gerry hacks alone or in company, good to shoe , clip …

Luna is a fantastic little pony with a brilliant attitude towards work.

She has been in the same loving home for nearly four years, where I originally backed her and had her in my schooling livery as a 4-year-old. Now sadly outgrown, she is back with me on sales livery.

She hacks out alone or in company and will even lead off another horse. Would not suit a first ridden.

Full breeding is known.

Molly is a smart all round, experienced competition pony who is equally happy hacking around the farm

Recently Molly has been to local shows jumping with a small girl, previously she has jumped up to foxhunter with 220 points. She will help her rider out at lower heights and isn’t spooky, she needs a little more accuracy as the fences go up

She is good in open spaces and with other horses, jumping xc fences and will come back to your voice

Molly moves well on the flat, goes in a shape and does her flying changes so would do a nice dressage test

She was good to clip, almost falling asleep while I did her face, she is good to load and shoe. Molly has been seen to pull a face in the stable, there’s no malice to it but we feel she would suit a more experience/competent handling home. She is unfazed by an unbalanced rider and isn’t sharp

Numerous videos available, only for sale as she’s a pony too early for her current young rider

Woody is an eye-catching all rounder with 3 lovely paces, he has participated in all PC activities and excels in jumping. He has the potential to be a BS pony as has great scope and can be competitive in a jump off.

He is snaffled mouth and definitely more kick than pull, he is a brilliant pony to learn on and gives his rider lots of confidence, as well as this is a brilliant lead rein pony and would do exceptionally well in the show ring. He is super in open spaces never gets fast or strong, he hacks alone and in company, woody is a lovely pony to have on the yard.

He is easy to do in all ways and is up to date with teeth, vaccinations, physio and farrier (barefoot)..

11.2hh 10yo Welsh section A chestnut gelding

Fantastic children’s pony, Bobby does it all, from looking after kids on the lead rein to jumping courses and doing dressage tests. Bobby is happy to step up or down to suit rider.

Bobby is a very smart pony and moves well. He has good conformation, and works in a nice frame. He has competed in showing classes including sunshine tour at Hickstead (stayed overnight) doing both in hand and LR classes. He also has done the TST amateur champs at Stoneleigh.

Bobby has also competed in dressage including pony club mini champs, where he gained a score of 67.75%. He has also taken part in the BD inter county challenge training at Intro level.

He has done all pony club activities including camp, xc, mounted games, picnic hacks etc. He has done Showjumping to 50cm with owners, with myself he has jumped both SJ and XC fences to 60cm.

Great out hacking, good in traffic. Good in open spaces. Both with others and alone.

To ride he responds nicely off the leg with good breaks and a soft mouth. Has taken current nervous kid from LR to riding and competing off the lead rein. With a less confident child just coming off the lead rein he can slow down near the gate, but with a child who will put there leg on he won’t do it.

Good to do on the ground, good for small children to handle. Good to load, for the farrier and dentist. No history or Lami, lameness or colic.

Seen at livery. History known, was sold by myself to current home via sales livery in Sept 2023 after being in his home prior to that for 5 years, now sadly outgrown, ready to teach the next little jockey!

We have had the pleasure of owning Penny for the last 6yrs.

Just coming back from a loan home we are looking for her next family.

She is a perfect leid rein pony, safe to hack and loves a fuss. Not a ‘push button’ pony in the arena, but I feel this has helped my daughter become a better rider.

Been on many fun rides, mini competitions and painted pink and sparkly countless times. Tried PC games at home, brave and nippy with no fuss with equipment or when being vaulted onto.

We would love to keep her but she would be wasted just stood in the field, she needs to go teach the next little person.

Easy for loading, farrier, clip and dentist. No issues with any type of traffic/farm vehicles she often leads the way.

Lots more photos and videos upon request. Much loved mare so please no time wasters. The right home is very important to us.

Alfie needs no introduction! He is a top class section A known for his big flashy movements!

We bought Alfie for our two daughters - our eldest has enjoyed doing workers on Alfie, competing in the junior and Open sections, and has jumped a few HOYS 122 classes on him but unfortunately her legs are now longer than his!

Alfie has given our younger daughter a lot of confidence in the FR classes and also FR WHP, qualifying for London on their first attempt in first ridden m&m sports pony in a strong class of 18. He would also be a strong contender for the lead WHP classes!

Alfie will always jump a beautiful round and is very careful, he’s given our youngest enough confidence to jump and win the arena eventing at the WPCS performance show as well as winning section A workers!

Alfie still enjoys to compete in the flat classes and is fabulous in the FR and junior classes as well as the inhand gelding and young handler classes!

During the winter months with both girls have used him for some showjumping, pony club and hunting! Alfie would also do very well in the dressage arena as he’s school beautiful!

Previously Alfie done exceptionally well as a lead rein and there is no reason why he could not go back to this!

At home Alfie is handled daily by our children who do everything with him but would take the Micky given the opportunity- Therefore Alfie does need a competition home!

Alfie will continue to compete until he finds his next rider. We would be happy to keep Alfie until the end of the season or he is available now with his entries.

Rowhill Dawn aka Dinky

13.2hh rising 8yo
Partbred New Forest mare by Skywalker, out of an unregistered forest mare

Dinky came to me in Feb 24, having come off the forest in December 23. She was unsure of domesticated life but has always shown a willingness to please and learn. I have given her all the time she has needed through each stage of groundwork and ridden life.

Dinky is now a happy, bubbly little pony who is enjoying learning everyday. She is impeccably well-mannered and can be handled by anyone, often being led by non-horsey relatives. She has 3 balanced, floaty paces on the flat and has proven confident over poles. She is now jumping small courses and has seen fillers, water trays, oxers and combination fences without a worry. She is an extremely quick learner and is progressing in the school everyday, she is forward and riding nicely in a contact, leg yielding and starting to get flying changes when jumping. Although much more confident than when she arrived, Dinky can be green at times, where she will take a moment to process new things, and therefore will need a quiet, confident person to continue her education.

She is snaffle mouthed, always sane and sensible, never strong or silly. She loves hacking! She is happily hacking alone and in company, in front or behind. She is forward out hacking but not silly or strong, just loving life. She has proven to be good in traffic, she will sometimes have a look if something rattles or flaps in a funny way, she has been past tractors, lorries and heavy machinery without a problem. We hack on small country lanes with only small pull ins to get out of the way of traffic but this has never been a problem.

Dinky has been to multiple arena hires, spider rides, clear rounds, an in hand show where she behaved impeccably, two ridden shows where she won her first dressage with 66.52% after just 4 weeks of being backed, and picked up 2nd and 3rd in prelim tests at British Dressage under an affiliated judge. She has jumped on grass and on a surface, including indoor and outdoor arenas. She takes everything in her stride and is a pleasure to take out. On her first beach ride she went in the sea, walked, trotted and cantered in front and behind and was an absolute pleasure. The longer she is with me the more she will do and price will increase, we’re currently going out in the lorry every week to different venues doing different disciplines. She would make an ideal allrounder, PC/RC pony, competition pony, endurance pony or would thrive in the show ring.

Dinky is happy to live in or out, with others or on her own. She is completely unfazed if all the other horses are brought in and she is left out, or if everyone leaves the yard and she is left in, she really is so easy to have around. She’s good to catch, clip, bath, for the vet and farrier, and loads well into our 3.5t lorry. She is currently barefoot and is up to date with feet, teeth, wormer and vaccinations.

Dinky is a forward thinking pony, she is still green and takes confidence from her rider, therefore she would not be suited as a first pony but would be ideal for a competent child, small adult or mother-daughter share. I am 5ft7 and ride her comfortably.

Dinky will try her heart out and make the best friend for her next jockey. She really is the sweetest mare and is a much loved yard favourite. The first person to view her will love her. She is fit and ready to go.

5* experienced home only for this super little mare. I have an abundance of photographs and videos to share. Open to any vetting.

Based on the Isle of Wight but happy to help with travel where I can. Text or email for more details.

Sad sale of our beautiful dun mare

She has enjoyed everything pony club has to offer!, dozens of camps, rallies, practices, loves mounted games , beach rides, dressage, cross country, unaff show jumping, clinics and showing. She is a joy to hack and will go first , last , on or off the lead rein and is safe in open spaces.

She enjoys hacking but is no kickalong, she is well behaved but because she is forward (and can be spooky but only if in front) , she is more suited to a more confident child if off the lead rein or a small adult.

Good in traffic, around dogs , loves a pamper and is always loaded and handled by children, good to travel alone or in company and well behaved at the event.

She lives in or out , with mares or geldings and we have had no issues with laminitis.

Stands happily to be shod and clipped.

We are looking for her next home who will love her as much as we do. She enjoys a quieter life now, so we do not want her to go to a home who wants to jump any bigger than cross poles as she has recently started to refuse over 40 cm's with children and does take confidence from the rider with jumping.

We have had the vet check her fully with no medical cause identified. She has years left of fun for the right family. Presently, she is ridden by an 8 and 11 year old and a 5ft 3" l/w adult.

She has given my girls lots of joy, she taught them both to canter and enjoyed all pony activities, so they are now ready for the next pony.

Really sad sale. Good home is essential

Comes with tack and some rugs. Up to date with flu /tet.

Tom Thumb is a super little 12hh approx grey 15 year old gelding.

He has experience in a variety of different disciplines, has hunted and with us recently has been placed showjumping and working hunter.

He is nicely forward going but snaffle mouthed. He has a super canter and easy way of going. His jump is correct and he has a good natural technique, he’s brave and doesn’t seem to bother with fillers water trays etc.

Occasionally if fresh he can have a little buck, but when turned out regularly and in work this doesn’t happen often !

He was bought by his owner a few months ago for her young daughter but has proved to be just a bit much pony for her at this point in her riding.

We would say he’s a super fun, ideal first competition pony for a keen competitive child looking for a step up.

Romeo came to us from Ireland he started out a little unsure of stable life ( would just stand at the back not knowing he could look out ) but now is like my best friend and is the sweetest boy .

He’s too small for us as he was sold at 14hh but he’s definitely just 13.2 .

Been hacking out on main roads , walks trots canters in arena lovely and pops a jump with ease .

I think he’d make a fab pony club type for a kid that wants to win events and I do think he’d be one you could train up for mounted games

He’s still green but no nastiness or he isn’t spooky at all .

Mo is that hard to find, versatile & proven Pony Club pony who has mastered every PC discipline but is now hopelessly outgrown. He has taken his jockey from a nervous 6yr old to a confident and capable 11yr old on so many adventures & taught her so much.

Mo has many strings to his bow including selections for numerous teams including - NI schools jumping teams, PC area eventing team, PC area SJ team, PC games team, NI Polocrosse team and selection for Team Ireland participating in the Four Nations Championships 2023 in England. He was again selected for the 2024 team.

He was on the winning Area 17 PC eventing team qualifying for Auchlishie, Scotland where they picked up a top 10 finish in UK PC eventing.
He finished individual 5th in the Area 17 home Championships and qualified & finished top 5 in the Northern Ireland rising stars SJ finals.

He has attended PC camps, both junior and senior, stay away shows, Balmoral show, PC Spring Barrier Festival in all 3 disciplines and has already qualified for this year’s Festival on their 1st attempt.

Mo is super smart with a quick brain who adores jumping, he will happily pop around x poles but over larger fences is when Mo really comes into his own. He has masses of scope and is amazing against the clock. He has many wins and placings never coming home without a ribbon.

Mo will produce a lovely pleasing dressage test and is mannerly & responsive to aids. He is forward yet safe and will step it up or down according to his riders ability. He rides in a snaffle for dressage and SJ and a Wilkie for XC.

Mo adores the beach and forest rides, he hacks out alone and in company unfazed by traffic or farm machinery.

He will take a child safely over any hunting country & is mannerly with hounds. His love of XC is evident as he never says no to a fence including ditches, banks and water. He is super clever and light on his feet keeping him out of trouble. He has hunted with Route Hunt in Northern Ireland with pictures and videos available.

Mo has no vices and is lovely to do in all ways, he’s excellent to shoe (hot or cold) bath and clip. He travels in a trailer, 3.5 or 7.5 lorry and is handled and loaded by the children. He loves a cuddle and fuss from his people. He is tidy in his stable when in and always comes cantering in from the field when called. He can live in or out with mares or geldings, he’s everybody’s friend.

He is simply an awesome little dude who deserves the very best of homes where he can continue teaching kids how to ride correctly and have the best fun doing so.

Finding the right home is of the utmost importance for us as he is one very special pony. Based in Co. Down, N.I, transport can be arranged.
He is up to date with vaccinations & dentist and will come with a full wardrobe of rugs as well as his tack.
Open to any vetting & PC references can be made available if requested.

PRINCESS

* 12.2 and 14 years old.
* Perfect Pony Club pony in every way
* Impeccable ground manners.
* Qualified in all four aspects of the Sunshine Tour ‘24
* Easy to do for an eleven year old child
* Will trot around a course or win 70cm jump offs.
* Gets positive comments at every show we attend.
* Very well schooled and often wins dressage comps.

Princess has been the most wonderful pony for Sophia and she is the love of her life. She is close to being outgrown, and we are starting to look for her next home.

She will turn her hoof to pretty much anything (has done games, but was not Sophia’s favourite), will hack alone or with company. Is not spooky or silly.

Loads in a trailer or a lorry by herself and will travel alone or with a friend. Will stand with a hay net at a show while you go and get cheesy chips!

Has done stay away shows with no problem and loves camp!

She has taken Sophia from trotting over cross poles, and being handed over to her instructor at her first pony club rally on a lead rope, to jumping 80cm courses at home and over some pretty hefty cross country jumps. However, I would not say that she is a typical first ridden pony, as she is wizzy, particularly in canter. She does have breaks. I would say she needs a gutsy rider. Ridden in a snaffle most of the time, a universal for Cross Country.

It is absolutely imperative that Princess has daily turnout in her new home, but with restricted grazing. She has high insulin levels, and has never had laminitis as this is easily managed.

Would love to find her a Pony Club home.
