Star is a 14.2hh, 13yr old Arab x Welsh Bay mare with recorded breeding. She has been very sadly outgrown so we are selling as moving onto horses.

She is the perfect all rounder, having successfully competed with us in SJ, XC, Dressage, JWS & Working Hunter. She loves going hunting, to the beach, to PC rallies, hacking and on pleasure rides. (Videos of all of these available)

She has competed NSEA/Pony Club/unaffiliated and is fast against the clock in SJ, comfortably jumping up to 90cm, covering ground, capable of tight turns and always in the rosettes. However, she is also very happy to step down and take younger riders around cross poles, always looking after her rider and trying her best. She has recently been ridden by a much younger rider at Pony Club so has plenty of scope for someone looking to move up the levels.

Star has 3 well balanced paces and therefore does a nice dressage test.

She jumps XC comfortably around 80cm and has working hunter potential, having previously won the novice qualifier at ESUK and placing in the Championship at her first ever working hunter competition. She has competed at the NESA National Championships at Hickstead the last 2 seasons and come home with rosettes in SJ and JWS.

Star is well behaved at shows, rallies, around other ponies and in a busy competition warm-up environment and doesn’t change after time off. She is excellent for the farrier, dentist, stands happily to be clipped, loads and travels well in trailer or lorry - she is happy to stand on the box at shows and be stabled at away shows.

Star is very respectful of fences - electric is not needed; she has lived both a herd and individual turnout and has both lived out and been stabled at night whilst with us.

She will hack out alone & in company, at the front or at the back but gains confidence from her rider with large vehicles.

The right home is so important as Star is a very special mare and with the right rider she will go far - She is not suitable for very young riders or very nervous riders.

Star has never been sick or lame in her 3 years with us, nor in her previous home. However, we are aware she will not pass a 5 stage vetting and this is reflected in her price. Dora has had numerous wins both in hand and ridden at local and county shows with myself in the last 8 years. Easy to do in all ways;, used to being around farm machinery, good with clippers, vet, dentist, farrier and physio. Hacks out alone or in company.

Up to date with farrier, vaccinations and dentist. Loads and travels and stands at shows like a dream.

As amazing as Dora is she wouldn’t be suitable for a novice, she needs a confident rider to push her to the best of her ability.

HONEST AD- Immy is a 9 year old quirky but fun pony who WILL buck if not having lots of work! Not the type that you can leave and then pick up!

She is the most loving cuddly pony on the ground. Same home since 2021 where she’s had a lot of professional schooling but had a love hate relationship with my now 12 year old daughter who has outgrown her. Immy has done a bit of everything while teaching my daughter how to really ride! She absolutely loves to jump around 70cm but needs a confident competent jockey as she is very forward and needs more education on this as it was not something my daughter perused.
Immy also excels at dressage which has been my daughters preference.
She has done Beach rides, fun rides, riding school pony, hacking in the heaviest of traffic and biggest open fields, mounted games and pony club done however like I have said if she is not worked hard she will play up with the odd buck!

Lives in or out currently in at night but she’s very adaptable. Loads in a box or trailer perfectly every time. Great to groom and bath but doesn’t love the farrier on back feet!
Immy was a riding school pony for a period of time also on working living where a number of children were riding her regularly.
Can come with full wardrobe at additional cost. Home is very important to this extremely loved pony. Honest advert and price reflects this. Huge potential but as she’s no longer in work she is priced accordingly as my daughter has already found her next pony and she’s being wasted currently. No timewasters please

Absolutely Top Class 138cms show pony . Rising 7 yrs chestnut mare Stockhill Carousel.

Maddy was started by us and has been brought on at her own pace winning almost every novice class she has contested over the last two seasons , including the Nps and Bsps champs .

She qualified for Rihs at her first attempt ‘24 and was very well placed in the few HOYS classes she contested . She is a very extravagant mover with plenty of quality limb (not a twig!) and a lovely kind temperament .

Maddy is also eligible for PBA classes , she is ready to really blossom in the open classes now but is sadly prematurely outgrown. We have always felt this pony has a big win in her one day and is really coming into her own now .

Has been incredibly easy to back. Was ridden for 3 months has hacked out and been ridden in the school. Going forward nicely enjoys the job.

Joe is the most amazing pony with so much potential for production wether home or professional.

Backed and ridden by 11 year old over the last 12 months. Brought on very slowly, with regular input from instructor and PC attendance.

Hacks out alone or in company, no vices, no rearing etc very very kind in every way. Jockey will carry on and work towards the season but will be too small for her and he will have to be sold at some point this year. Price will rise the more he does.
