Looking for new home

Sally is a 4yr old 13.2 blagdon cob mare, she is a real sweet girl. Although recently broken she’s proving to be a real old head on young shoulders type. Very willing attitude to her work and tries her heart out to please you.

She’s super easy to do in all ways, one in a million temperament, will stand there all day to be brushed.Ridden by children both on and off the lead rein and really looked after them. Has hacked out down our quiet lane and was super. She sees heavy farm machinery daily and doesn’t bother. She’s a really lovely pony who deserves a 10* home.

Although she’s proving to be a star, she’s still very much a baby in the early stages of her education so therefore greenness is still expected and normal.

Serious enquires only please, no time wasters.

Lovely little David - What an absolute little star. As well as being utterly adorable to look at

David is a complete saint to ride and look after. He is regularly handled by a small nervous 7yo girl. she can catch him by herself, lead him all around the garden, brush him and feed him completely un assisted. This super little chap never makes a fuss and is calm and kind at all times.

He is a wonderful little lead rein pony with manners to burn. Ideal to teach any little jockey. Also rides nicely off of the lead rein has 3 eye catching paces and would undoubtedly turn heads in the show ring. Happily pops round a small course of cross poles, slowly and steadily.

Super safe out on the roads, in heavy traffic and open spaces. Very low maintenance, happily lives in or out with mares and geldings. Good with dogs, farm machinery and most importantly, loves children.

Absolutely no vices

Apple has been with us for nearly 3 years but is hopelessly outgrown so on the lookout for her next home. With us she has mostly been used to teach my daughter to ride, for the occasional pony club rally, local arena hires and shows and hacking out. She will hack out alone, and prefers to follow if in a group.

She is easy on the ground, leads well and will stand to be groomed for as long as you want if there is a haynet nearby! She has always been cared for by my daughter, and she is easy to do everything for. She is good for the farrier (front shoes) and is up to date with vaccines and teeth. Never sick or sorry.

She currently lives out at night with another mare, but has been on her own and in larger herds too. She doesn't mind individual turnout and is happy to come in. She comes straight to you in the field.

She would suit a whole range of riders, from a small novice to a competent teen or an older rider. She has been used on lead rein. She will step up or down dependent on the rider.

Priced to sell due to needing the stable for new larger pony for my growing teen.

Comes with bridle and some rugs, professionally fitted saddle negotiable separately.

Great on the lead rein. Happy to be ridden off the lead with a confident small jockey

He is great on the ground, will stand to be clipped and bathed and is fine for the farrier. He lunges well, hacks alone and in company and easy to turn out and catch. Never bitten or kicked, this would not be in his nature.

Schools happily in walk, trot and canter and has done some polework.

Dylan is not a first ridden pony - he started his education later in life so is still green in new situations. He is in no way naughty but is not established enough to take a young child off the lead without further schooling and education.

Dylan is only for sale due to my new commitments and me being too tall for him as a longer term rider. A kind home that prioritises his education is paramount. Please feel free to pm me for more videos and photos, and any more info.

Chase is our much-loved 5-year-old, 12.1hh cob gelding. This sweet-natured boy has been a fantastic pony for our family but is now sadly looking for his next loving home.
Chase is a kind, safe pony who thrives in a child-friendly environment. We used him in lead rein classes for the past two years as well as fancy dress classes.
He was also used in a riding school last summer. We took him to the beach last summer and he really enjoyed it, the rode him off lead there and he was excellent.
He is used to being handled by our four children and loves being groomed and washed
Easy to load and travel

Comet is an absolute star; the kind of pony every child dreams of. She is so beautiful with her white eyelashes. We bought her to restore my son’s confidence after his loan pony bucked him off continuously. She has been the most wonderful step up for my son, transitioning him off the lead rein with confidence. While she’s not a kick-along first pony for a very nervous rider, she is safe, responsive, and loves her job. She is forward but always stops, and if my son has ever fallen, she simply stands and waits for him. She is brilliant in open spaces. We are devastated that my son has grown so quickly and the best home is a must.

She has done so much and is admired (especially those white eyelashes) wherever she goes! Comet takes everything in her stride, and has done so much with us. Including a beach holiday (she was incredible , safely cantering along the beach) is out every weekend at something pony club including jumping, rallies, games, treasure hunts. She happily jumps 40cm courses and is now confidently schooling over 50cm. She loves to hack and we have taken her out alone and in company. I can lead her easily from my horse too, she has also been on hound walks.

She is a dream to load, travels perfectly, and is happy alone or in company. She’s incredibly easy to keep, barefoot, will live in or out, although i would want her to have a decent amount of turnout if stabled. We’ve regularly had an older child continue her education.

Comet truly thrives in a home where she is busy and loved. I dont want her to go to tiny tots unless they have older siblings to enjoy her too, this is a pony that loves her job and deserves to keep having fun!

Serious enquiries only, please and only the best of homes, we are going to be heartbroken when she leaves. Up to date on everything and will go with tack and rugs. 100’s of photos and videos available but please no timewasters. Home will be thoroughly vetted. No loans

Lightly backed professionally last summer 2024 and turned away for the winter. Good with traffic, farrier, vet, loading, children, dogs etc.

Been in vicinity of tractors and farm machinery since a weanling. In the process of being brought back into work so still learning but has hacked out alone with competent and confident rider. Can be sharp so not suitable for a nervous rider or complete beginner.

Would suit competent junior or small, light adult and will eventually make an excellent all-rounder for Pony club/WHP etc.

Vaccinated, microchipped, and worming up to date.

Has always had the company of at least one other horse/pony and this must continue in a new home.

Knowledgeable and experienced home more important than money to continue his education.

Adorable 2017 Irish grey gelding standing at a full up 14hh, this super lad massively takes up the leg and is a lovely substantial type.

Milo has been working in a Riding School so is very used to novice riders and showing people the ropes, Milo is forgiving and easy to ride. Not only has he done school work but he has been out and about to, Milo has done riding club and pony club activities and is easy to take out and about, he has done some showjumping shows too.

He has three lovely comfortable paces, willing to please and isn’t sharp or complicated in anyway. He enjoys jumping and is happy schooling cross country or round bright fillers, he is also happy to step down and do small cross poles in trot for someone nervous or learning.

Milo is brilliant to hack out, unbothered by the big scary stuff and doesn’t care if he is alone or in company, sensible in open spaces and just a generally easy, fun and safe pony.

A sweet lad on the ground and easy to have around. Open to any vet or trainer.

Trial period available.

Lemon

Just under 11h, 9yo palomino & white mare. Sweetest temperament on the ground and quiet enough for children to handle and groom etc. She adores all the fuss and attention, unless you try and touch her right ear.... in which case she pulls a face!

Has spent the last year with us being spoilt rotten with a 5 year old LR jocky and a 7 year old first ridden jockey. . Lemon has done verything with us - Christmas rides, millions of pony club rallies, and camp, local SJ shows and local showing shows, and hacks galore! We searched for months & months for a pony to give our very nervous daughter her first dream pony and Lemon took on the role perfectly. Sadly outgrown by the older daughter who has moved straight to a 12.2 and our younger daughter really isnt interested.

Easy ride - listens to little legs without being at all fizzy or buzzy. Safe in open spaces with lots going on around her. Took part in all the rallies, SJ, mini XC, mounted games (occasionally gives things a wide berth on her right hand side) , fancy dress etc. Both on and off lead.

Loves to hack - we call her Dora the Explorer as she’ll go anywhere you ask. Sensible even in big groups. I can lead her off my 15.2, a bicycle and equally super safe off LR. I frequently take my 2 year old out on her using an Inky Dinky.

Up to date with everything. No health issues or vices. Barefoot, easy to catch, lives out 24 hours here unless off to an event or PC. Lives off fresh air Can occasionally be slow to load (max 5 mins just while she does a poo!), and prefers to be loaded by a small person!

Would love a tiny tot for her that will do lead rein & off lead so she can stay for years!

Located Suffolk IP13.

Impeccable manners on the ground and whilst being ridden

SUPER SUPER SAFE KIND, LOVING, SUPERSTAR

Penny is the calmest, considerate pony who always takes care of her riders. Ridden by tiny tots to small adults.
She would be a fantastic mature ladies perfect mount, if safety is Paramount then look no further.

Tonnes of experience and unbelievably safe. Ideal for a beginner, nervous rider or a rider who wants to progress and have some fun, she is super steady, calm and gentle in every way, she is super chilled but not a plod, even though she is super safe, she responds to the leg and has 3 excellent paces. She is extremely willing and will do anything you ask, even pops a small jump or log, she walks, trots and canters incorporating figures of 8, 3 and 4 loop serpentines.
She is a fantastic all-rounder.

This is a really fantastic pony for anyone to build up their confidence, learn to ride and continue to progress on.
Definitely a 1st pony.

This pony is simply one in a million, she is one of our main RDA horses where she is ridden in the paddock, across open fields and roads by riders with mild to severe learning requirements she will stand at a mounting block and hoist for hours if required, she is absolutely not phased at all by extremely loud noises, shouting and screaming, riders waving their arms and swinging their legs, even dismounting whilst she is moving, she simply stops immediately.

Will take any equestrian that wants a super safe ride.

She really is a true kids or small adult pony, who looks after all her riders, she has spent the last 5 years teaching riders to walk, trot, canter and jump.

15 yrs schoolmistress

Exceptional mare with tonnes of experience for sale. Has spent the last 5yrs in the same riding school where she has been ridden by complete novice, intermediate and advanced riders both children and adults. She has done all flat work lessons, privates and groups, with the same enthusiasm now as when she first started her riding school career. She is very genuine and loves to hack out, she doesn’t pull, rush, spook or get nervous of anything, she is the most loving mare you could ever wish to meet. She is one of the favourite with our SEN children and adults, she participates in all our RDA lessons, hacks and stable management sessions.

Absolutely no vices, when ridden, in the stable or in the field and has brilliant manners enabling anyone to handle her safely and with ease, will stand for hours with no head collar or lead rope being groomed.

She has exceptional manners and ticks so many boxes for someone looking for a very safe easy schoolmistress with no ifs or buts she has absolutely no mareish traits.

Penny will hack out alone or in company in the heaviest of traffic without batting an eye lid. She is 100% safe, steady and collected when ridden in all paces across open fields, regardless of whether she is at the front or back of the ride or on her own, she will not rush or pull even on the way home.

Snaffle mouth with absolutely no gadgets.

She lives out in a mixed herd but is equally happy to be stabled, she keeps herself to herself and never causes any trouble despite being out with 30 other horses.

She is currently barefoot and has excellent manners with the farrier and could be shod if needed. She ties up anywhere, and loves attention.

She is excellent to catch, with the farrier and dentist.

Penny would give confidence to any rider/ handler and could easily compete at riding club level, fun/beach rides.

She can go for months without work then be tacked up and ridden without any fuss, she is extremely low maintenance, she maintains her weight all year round on grass and hay and Haylage during the winter months.
She has never been lame had laminitis, sweet-itch or sarcoids.

In the past 5yrs I can honestly say she has never been lame, sick or sorry, my vet can verify this, she has passed the riding school annual inspections with flying colours, this is equivalent to a stage 2 vetting.

Looking for a five star private home to give someone the opportunity to purchase a safe and very sensible horse, with so much to offer.

First to see will buy, she is one in a million and really can’t be missed.

Absolute heartbreaking sale but we like to change our stock around every 2 years to give our fantastic horses and ponies the opportunity to experience a one to one home again, we have several horses and ponies for sale.

Very sad sale of this sweet gelding who has been my daughter’s first pony and a wonderful family pet for the last few years. We bought him as a lead rein pony for our 6yo which he was brilliant for but she grew in confidence enough to ride him off the lead and for the last 12 months has been hacking and competing in local SJ and ODEs.

Disco is 11.2 Welsh part-bred (green passport) and 17 years young. He loves hacking through forests and along country lanes. He did mini Pony club camp last summer all off the lead rein with my 7 year old and they had a lovely time.

He loves his jumping and has been competing him at 30 and 40cm assisted for school at NSEA and for pony club, competing at Bicton Pony Club Mini champs in August 2024 and has already qualified for 2025. He will jump anything in front of him and doesn’t mind wobbly riders as he will follow the adult wherever they lead. In Feb half term 2025, he came 1st at Bovington RAC showjumping comp in the L/R 40cm and 4th in the Assisted 40cm, (clear rounds for both).

He has been to the Pony Club hunt meet and behaved beautifully. He also went cubbing and hunting on the lead rein with his previous owners. He is happy to be led from a horse and has a quick stride so he keeps up well.

Disco does not really like schooling in an enclosed arena - he is fine when an adult is walking alongside/ on the lead rein but is quite scared of shouty instructors and sometimes naps back to the gate if he doesn’t have a bossy rider. This has only happened a handful of times out of a hundred but worth disclosing. He never bucks or rears but if you come up behind him with a stick/whip, he will scoot forward as we think he has sadly had a bad experience in the past. He is not bombproof when off the lead rein - he still has lots of energy and character but has taught my daughter to love cantering along country lanes, jumping and made her a confident little rider. She’s moved onto her next pony so Disco no longer has a rider and new home sought.

We are still in touch with his previous owners who also love him very much and we can both provide loads of photos and videos. He will only go to a lovely family home where he’ll be appreciated and well-cared for. £3000 incl. tack

Scooby - Perfect First Ridden Show Hunter Pony. Full up 122cms , 13 yrs bay sec A gelding.

Scooby is a much loved family pony been in the same home last 5 years been there and done it type. Taken 3 year old petite child from LR to first ridden.

Taking part in too many to mention , shows, clinics, pony club camps etc..

Super children’s pony with the necessary tolerance to bring a child off the LR. Scooby has the holy grail of canter transitions and works perfectly both independently and on the lunge line. Scoobys favourite thing is to hack. Ears pricked, forward and bold he is a delight to ride and lead from, keeping up with the bigger horses, never spooky or silly he is a real joy and will canter alongside your mount to the joy of small children.

Scooby likes to get on with the job, he is not a dope on a rope he skips along with lovely show pony pointy toes. And as such will not suit a nervous novice.

Forward and responsive for the most part Scooby is also a clever little pony and will try to get away with minimum work in the arena with a child who is not confident enough to push him forward. Never seen to buck rear or bolt we consider him the ideal smart First ridden pony for a confident child. Scooby is a real cutie with a huge personality.

Scooby deserves another 10* family home where he will continue to be loved and cherished and do what he does best ...enjoy the work. Clean limbed and straight. Scooby is quality enough for the big ring although this is not an area pursued in his current home. He will skip around a course of 40cms fences and is not fazed by the mounted games equipment, loves xc. Good out hacking and in traffic. Barefoot and snaffle mouthed.

Very sad sale of our daughters first pony, who we’ve had for the last 3 and a half years. She is now outgrown and needs to find a new young person to teach to ride. Green passport.

Tara has taken our daughter from a nervous lead rein jockey to taking part in all activities, including regular lessons, x- country clinics, PC rallies, PC camps and PC ridden badges. She has only been ridden by children with us.

She is happiest jumping x-poles to jumps up 40 cms. She is not bothered by fillers, ditches, water etc . She will trot around a course at this height but if the height increases over 45cm she needs a rider not a passenger to ride her over the fence.

She absolutely loves hacking and does this alone or in company. She’s safe in heavy traffic, group rides, open fields, woodland rides and beach rides. She also enjoys a ride to the local play park!

She can be loaded on the trailer by my daughter and she will happily travel alone or in company. She’s great with the farrier (barefoot), dentist, physio, vet for vaccinations and to clip.

Fully up to date with all vaccinations, dentist, physio and farrier. No history of laminitis or illness. Fit and ready for her next home.

Lots of photos and videos on request.

Viewings will only be arranged via telephone. No loans sorry.

Price includes rugs, bridle and Thorowgood saddle.
