Absolutely top class 148cm 5 year old dapple grey Connemara mare by Dunally Lad out of a Temple Active Atlas dam (I love you Melody), N/N HWSD,

Hebe was Purchased from Clifden as a 3 year old, she has been slowly and meticulously produced by a teenager with a big future in mind, she works in a soft natural outline with 3 correct balanced paces.

She has been to a variety of arena hires and training days and has a fantastic sensible attitude to her work, showing a careful, scopey jump. She is unphased by fillers and loved her first outing xc, jumping ditches, steps, skinnies and water. She is confidently jumping courses of 90cm with plenty of ability for much more,

She has super conformation, tough hard feet and is good to box, shoe, clip, catch and in traffic. Stands politely on the trailer and is used to children; cattle and farm machinery. She hacks happily alone or in company and is everyone’s favourite. Snaffle mouth at all times and safe in open spaces. The perfect pony for a confident child to take up the levels. The ultimate grassroots prospect and more.

Hebe has also been lightly shown both in hand and ridden, being placed every outing and behaving perfectly at the evening performance.

Hebe is sure to make a top class competition pony in any sphere that is chosen for her. No vices or veterinary history. Up to date with worming and vaccinations. Happy living in or out and sane enough not to need riding everyday. A combination of temperament , looks and ability that is VERY hard to find.

Substantial price required for this one in a million pony.

Bodernog Heulwen (Katy)

Katy is sadly completely outgrown by our daughter, we have had her for 3 years but have known her since she was a 4 year old.

She is a hugely talented pony who is looking for her next rider to continue to give her the life that she loves.

Not only is she a very capable pony, she is so loving and will always be your child's best friend. She is so easy to do in every way wether you are at home or a stay away show, she takes it all in her stride and will look after her rider.

She is a talented dressage pony with metronomic rhythm which is greatly appealing to judges, who have even got out of their boxes to come and tell us how much they love her! She also loves to jump and enjoys cross country.

Highlights:

Cavago Associated Championships Premlim Bronze Section Champion 2024
Trailblazers 2023 Combined Training Prelim/ 60cm Pony Champion
Trailblazers 2024 2 x 1st place
Summer Area Festival 2024 Onley Grounds 5th place
Summer Area Festival 2023 Field House Equestrian 4th Place
Selected to represent Wales at the BD Youth inter-regionals 2023 and 2024
Represented Area 5 Pony Club at Spring Festivals

The kind of home we are looking for is one where she will be able to do all the things she loves, whilst dressage is her highlight she loves to jump, currently 80cm but will happily drop back, she loves cross country and a good gallop on the beach. She has done many Pony Club camps and she has been to many multi-day stay away shows all over the UK, she really isn't phased by a new venue.

She is a talented pony and would need a kind and able rider for a perfect match, she isn't a first ridden. This is going to be very difficult for our family so she will only go to a home where she will be loved and who will make the most of her talents. She's currently competing Prelim/ Novice and training Novice/ Elementary.

She had sarcoids lazered when she first came to us 3 years ago with no evidence of recurrence.
She will happily hack out but she isn't a fan of motorbikes so we put her behind one of our others if we do meet one out and about. I have loads more pictures and videos, we are about an hour and 10 minutes away from Chester. This girl is really worth the journey.

She will come with full wardrobe including GP saddle, bridle and rugs.

For sale from a private loving home and through no fault of his own, a beautiful Connemara cross Thoroughbred darker chestnut coloured colt foal born June 2024 with huge potential

The sire of this foal is Josie Jump who is a true superstar of a Grade 1 Connemara stallion. He has won in multi disciplines at top level both in Ireland and in the U.K. Photo included in this advert.

He has a superb temperament that is passed on to his offspring and he is loved by all. See the link below for more information. Other videos can be found via a Google search.

https://sportpony.org.uk/josie-jump.shtml

The dam is a lovely Weatherby's National Hunt very well bred ex racehorse mare who has a kind, gentle nature which has passed onto her offspring. A video taken of her when she was in training a few years ago is included in this advert.

This dark chestnut colt foal is sure to make a fantastic all rounder competition large sports pony / small sports horse. He already shows incredible movement and stability. He has a bold engaging and playful character, very friendly and very loveable. He has seen road traffic, farm machinery and is used to lots of everyday yard and household sights and sounds, dogs and different people. After finally losing his lighter coloured newborn baby coat he has revealed his real colour, a beautiful darker chestnut coloured coat.

He has been microchipped and is passported and registered with Sports Pony Studbook Society and British Connemara Pony Society. He will be eligible for British Connemara classes.

Please only genuinely experienced owners for this foal, that can provide evidence of a truly 5 star loving home.

Lily is the cutest little Connemara pony brought over from Ireland having done mostly pony club and we have competed her in BS 138 classes.

Confident 80, 90-1m05, very honest, will take a knock rather than a stop. Jumps 1m10 regularly in training but not quite top track.

Qualified Turriff show 2 years running. Loves cross country and arena eventing! Equally such a pretty pony for WHP.

Forward going so a second pony but not strong, snaffle mouthed, safe, never naughty.

Very easy pony, lovely ground manners, good to travel, clip etc.

This is a gorgeous pony who has done it all, is fit and ready to go - a super easy buy for someone special.

Pure bred Connemara mare 10 years old full up and rides bigger but with the benefit of a 138 AHC

This pony has done literally everything for my daughter, bringing her from local pony club level to competing and winning at regional and national levels across a wide range of disciplines, including:

  • Showing – winning at County and winning and placing at National level including placing in the top 8 at The Royal International Open 143 Show Hunter Pony 2023 (highest placed amateur produced), qualifying for 148 Performance Pony at The London International and Pretty Polly Mixed Height Show Hunter Pony at The Royal International.
  • Show Jumping – regularly competing and clear at 80 and 90cm classes in both Pony Club and Unaffiliated classes. Won 100cm PC SJ class at Bury Farm in last two weeks.
  • Eventing – placing top 3 and double clear at PC grassroots ODEs in 2023 and placing in top 6 at Eastern Regional Championships.
  • Working Hunter – clear and placing in top 5 at BSPS Summer Championship Novice Plaited 143 2023, top Junior 100cm Training Stakes at BSPS Winter Championships 2024, 2nd at RI Open Plaited Working Hunter qualifiers 2024 and winning Novice M&M 143cm class at NPS Summer Championships 2024.

We have also taken this pony on hound exercise and hunting in a snaffle and taken her pony racing at Lingfield Park. She placed at the NPS Arena Eventing 90cm qualifier at the Summer Championships qualifying for the national final of this event. Her past owners did a lot of dressage with her and qualified for Pony Club Nationals but my daughter isn’t that interested in pure dressage. She has been to plenty of Pony Club events and camp. She is easy to ride in an outline, has brakes and only needs the briefest warm ups at events. She is only for sale because my daughter’s priorities have changed and she has her hands full.

Beyond these results she is a completely safe pony; the most novice rider can be out on her but she can change up the gears for more experienced and forward riders. She hacks out in company or alone, goes first or last and is dependable in traffic and open fields. She is easy to clip, shoe, plait and wash and good for the dentist and vet. She is never sick or sorry. She is good in the stable and is a dream at stay away shows. She loads easily and travels quietly, standing on the lorry all day and other horses can be taken away without a problem. Almost whole life history known.

The downsides of the pony are minor: she’s not particularly cuddly and, although she can be affectionate, it’s on her terms. We turn her out a lot and I think she’s better in a quiet environment. We have a lot of stallions on the yard and have put her on regumate during our season which I think has helped chill her out and would recommend continuing. She also has a typical “fleshy” Connemara lip so we change her bit quite regularly and only use a fixed or sleeved bit.

No dealers please and a text to arrange a call would be appreciated.

Robin was brought to make a HOYS level working hunter however unfortunately he is not gutsy enough so would therefore suit a more low level/dressage/first ridden type home. He was shown very successfully inhand as a youngster inc winning WPCS Medals and being 2nd at the Royal Welsh.

He is a 1.5 pony off of the lead and would be ideal for a small child or small adult/teen wanting to go and have fun. He’s a beautiful mover and we feel he would be a super dressage/BYRDS prospect if schooled up for this.

Robin is forward but safe as houses. He’s completely snaffle mouthed and not sharp (but also not a half a mile an hour kick along!) however he is not a HOYS pony purely because of his height!

He will pop a cross pole/50cm but that’s really his limit as it’s not his favourite thing to do however with a keen gutsy rider I’m sure he could easily progress with his jumping.

Robin is a real mother’s dream. He is easy to do in all ways and is handled daily by children and by a 75yr old lady with no issues whatsoever. He’s good to catch, load, travel etc and has no lumps bumps or vices.

A 10* home is an absolute must as we all love him here and it’s a very sad sale! If he was brave enough for HOYS workers, he wouldn’t go anywhere!!

No day dreamers, video collectors or loans/LWVTB ETC.

Perfect 128 BS starter pony for stepping stones and springboards. Would happily step down and bring rider up the heights.

Honey is a super fun pony who enjoys a bit of everything. She has a nice steady pace but will kick it up a notch when asked. My daughter has been given the ride on her as owners have moved to Australia. Since coming to us she has placed in every class she's jumped, most recently gaining their first stepping stones double clear on the first time jumping BS together.

We have found her to be super honest and straightforward, point and leg on and she will jump off any stride!

She is an absolute gem to handle with impeccable stable manners. Settled so quickly when she came to us. She really is the sweetest mare!

Maisie is a real poppet in every way. She has tons of experience teaching children the ropes of pony club, competitions and equine management. She is regularly handled by children and never steps a hoof out of line. She is calm and sensible and loves people, fuss and attention. Happily lives in or out with mares and geldings, great with dogs and a pleasure to have on the yard.

To ride, Maisie is pleasantly forward going. She works off the leg in an outline and has 3 eye catching paces. She loves to jump and has competed up to 90cm with many victories. She is forward to a fence although not strong or silly. She is always ridden in a snaffle, even when cantering through open spaces with a little jockey onboard. When on the lead rein Maisie is happy to plod along at her leaders desired pace, she is however not a kick along pony, she enjoys her job and is keen to please.

We haven’t hacked her alone as her jockeys have been too young. We have led her out hacking alone and she has been excellent. Happily walks away from the other horses and isn’t fussed by busy roads or spooky objects. She is a star out hacking with others, goes first or last, has good breaks and throughly enjoys herself.

This little sweetie really loves her job and would suit a home wishing to utilise her knowledge.

She has good breeding and although she’s in her winter woolies at the moment as she’s currently without a jockey, when she’s clipped and clean she’s a real head turner.

No vices. 99% to shoe, box, catch, clip. Open to any inspection.

Priced to sell as we are lacking space and although we have kept her ticking over she doesn’t have a permanent jockey at the moment. Please No time wasters or silly offers.

Superb breeding:

Sire – Arvalon Dion OS 72520 and Dam Peasedown Aphrodite 164560.
Grandparents - Synod King Cole 43646 and Peasedown Ronnie 69570.

One in a million, exceptionally talented dream competition pony. The ultimate all-rounder! A competitive childs dream pony. Honest and willing and always helps her rider out. No vices. Fast, forward and loads of fun!

Eye catching pony with three lovely paces. Has been carefully produced by 12 year old and also schooled regularly by light weight professional dressage rider. When jumping she is careful, brave and not at all spooky at fillers. Stays in a beautiful rhythm, doesn’t get strong or over jump but is a forward ride. Comfortably jumping full course of 80/90 and is always in the ribbons.

She doesn’t know how to be nasty under saddle, never bucks or rears. Gives everything her whole heart.

Has done everything. PC rallies, unaffiliated SJ and BS since June, excels at XC, beach rides, mounted games, pole clinics etc. You name it, shes done it with her current jockey. Hacks alone or in company, totally un phased by traffic, farm machinery, dogs and livestock.

Water trays, no problem! Jump off turns to die for!

Would excel in the showing or WHP world.

Very sadly outgrown by my 12 year old or trust me this pony would never be up for sale.

Qualified:

British National Championships 128 Stepping Stones 2024
Cats & Pipes Scope Festival 2024
50, 60, 70, 75 Trailblazers & Sunshine 2023/2024
Orsett Country Show 2024

Dressage – produces a lovely test with scores of 69+ (highest placed Junior rider in Brook Farm Championship 2023)
3 x 1st places at UK Pony Summer Premier 2024

New to BS but plenty of double clears and placings. Started in June 2024 so low mileage, showing lots of promise. Accumulated all required points in month of June to get qualifications for Nationals Champs and Scope by end of June 24. Sadly had to slow down on the competing front due to a death in the family (jockeys Grandmother).

Not rushed with heights due to age but has oodles of potential. Will go far in the right hands but would equally be superb for an active pony club home. Safe as houses, my daughter has never once fallen off her, never nasty and loves a fuss.

Plenty of videos can be found on Instagram handle – erin_bessy_pepsi (ensure you are looking at the right pony, not the Connemara). Nothing to hide so please feel free to check her out, theres hundreds of videos of this combinations shenanigans.

This truly is a very sad sale and she will only be sold to the very best of homes as we want to ensure your child is a good match for to reach her full potential. To be brutally honest I don’t think we have even tapped the surface with how much she has to give. She a Duracell bunny and never runs out of energy.

Up to date with dentist, farrier, vaccinations, physio.

Can be viewed in Brentwood, Essex (5 mins from Junction 28 on M25/A12).

Open to Vets/X-rays etc. Never a single day lame, sick or sorry!

We’ve had “King” for almost 4 years.
Our son was inexperienced and learning about showjumping when he started with him.
He has also being playing other sports so time commitment to showjumping hasn’t always been as consistent as it could have been.
In spite of this, King has taught him a lot, brought him to Dublin twice, placed in the 128 Premier final and the Cavan Halloween Grand Prix this year among plenty of other highlights.

With a confident, competitive rider, King has all the tools needed to win in the main arena at the Dublin Horse Show or the equivalent big track internationally.

He is physically very fresh as he has never been under pressure to jump any track.

He has never seen a vet (other than routine vaccinations), physio or chiropractor and has never been on any supplements in the time that we’ve had him.
He has no vices, is very calm at shows and in the stable.
While our son has been riding him since he was very small and learned a lot from him, King would ideally suit a strong competitive rider to realise his full potential.

Very sad sale of this handsome boy, he was sold as a first pony and he is a second pony.

He's a fantastic lead rein pony.

With his previous owners he's done pony club, mounted games, shows and fun rides.

Very well bred, half brother to Hoys winner and his grandmother won Royal Welsh several times.

Rupert is good to catch, groom, bath, pick his feet and to be clipped.

He does need a confident rider as he can be strong when leading sometimes.

Suitable for older child or small Adult

I don’t have videos as was sold to me as a first pony and my granddaughter prefers her older pony and won’t ride him as she lacks in confidence.

This line sounds so cliché but it’s true to the core for this post - Absolutely HEARTBREAKING sale of our best girl, Tiggy!

The pony I wanted to keep forever and if she was 15hh, I would never ever give her up.

Before I even get into the ad, I’d like to make it clear that a first refusal contract will be put in place and only the absolute best home for this girl will be considered because she truly is our world. I want to stay in touch with any new owners.

We are in absolutely no rush to say goodbye to her so will be taking our time in finding her the most suited home.

Tiggy is approx 11.3hh and an absolute superstar! Everyone on the hunt field wants her!

Tiggy is a forward going, fun girl who would be best suited to a hunting home, or a PC home.

Tiggy is not nasty in any way but very occasionally, if feeling fresh she will have a little bronky bronk as my kids like to call it. It is very light hearted and not intended to ditch her rider.

Out on the hunt field, she’s a pleasure. She doesn’t like to have any horses too close to her bottom (although is foot perfect with the hounds!) so we pop a ribbon in. However at shows etc, she’s always been fine.

She is forward and so a bold little jockey needed off of lead rein, although she does have all the brakes! She is also happy to be lead and mooch at the back as she has been with my little boy since he was less than 2 years old. She will also mooch at the back/stray away from the field if necessary.

She will pop anything you face her to and isn’t spooky of anything at all!

She pops round a course of jumps very sweetly. She is not fussed by coloured poles, fillers etc and loves to jump! We have done some unaff showjumping with her.

We have also taken her to PC where she’s played games etc and the flags and other equipment doesn’t phase her at all.

Despite us mainly hunting her, there isn’t much this pony has not done. XC schooling, hunter trials etc etc!

To hack she is super trust worthy. My 9yo daughter hacks out alone and she is about as bomb proof as they come on the roads etc. My daughter hacks her through a very large town (Stevenage) through the underpasses and down main road verges and she’s never put a foot wrong. She’s brilliant with lorries, machinery, motorbikes, bicycles and everything in between.

Brilliant in open spaces, she will happily walk, trot, canter or open up as you wish. She loves exploring new places and we have done LOADS of this with her - Beach rides, forest rides etc. She LOVES the beach.

She’s never had a day sick or sorry with us, never been lame, never required a vet visit (unless routine jabs). Never had lami etc.

She’s fab to load, travel, clip, have the dentist etc etc!

I cannot express in words how much this little mare means to us and if money were no object and my daughter stopped growing, she’d stay with us forever but realistically she deserves to find another fun little jockey as my daughter is now growing tall on her.

Happy to answer any questions/send videos pictures etc and as above, I am truly in no rush. The home is most important.

Antrim unique -Full up 138 pony, 15 yr old mare

We bought this pony a year ago for my daughter, but she's just too petite for her. Would do well with a competitive teen in pony club type all round home.

Very sound, polite mouthed, forward thinking mare, good on the flat.

A pleasure to handle, good to shoe & load

Rizz came to us in summer '24 as a fun all round pony for my daughter to play with at home. We've had heaps of fun with her over the last few months, my daughter loves her to bits and is very reluctant to let her go but she already has 2 other show ponies and Rizz needs to be out competing which we just can't factor in with the others we have. It's not fair to just keep her as a play pony when she can be so much more.

Her happy place is jumping, she absolutely loves it, her face lights up and she's very bold and brave.

Never refused or ducked out and I'm confident she'd jump pretty much anything! Not fussed about fillers or 'spooky' fences at all.

She's fabulous to hack out, not silly or spooky and we're yet to come across anything she's fazed by.

She's taken part in some NSEA training sessions with my daughter's school and behaves impeccably each time.

Due to her love of jumping she is forward and enthusiastic and she needs a confident and capable jockey who's raring to go to share this enthusiasm with. With the right person she'll be the most fun pony!

This said she does have brakes, always comes back when asked and is voice responsive. She schools nicely on the flat too.

Can be wary of new faces but once you've gained her trust then she's very loyal and loving. Laughs on the daily and loves to play with coat zips and shoe laces, she'll stand and play with you for hours.

Can get a bit stressy if travelling alone, stomps a bit initially and bashes her haynet about but soon settles once you get going. We've only ever really travelled her solo and as soon as she steps off the lorry at your destination she's cool as a cucumber.

5* knowledgeable home required, she'll only go where we feel is right.

Not a first pony.

Passed a 5 stage vetting in summer last year.

Heartbreaking sale of our beloved pony Joey, who wins everyone hearts over! We purchased Joey in 2022 as a first pony for our son who was a complete novice from pony club/lead rein level to start unaffiliated with. With a glittering history with previous owners we didn’t hesitate and what an amazing journey we have been on, now he is ready to do that again with another small jockey!

Starting out through the stepping stones level, we quickly collected numerous clears and placings and slowly progressed through the levels to win our first major Grand Prix at South View in the 11&unders final where we realised this pony is going to be very special! Never coming home without a rosette, we went onto winning the Onley grounds Grand Prix in the winter . That season we stepped up another level with a relatively novice jockey still and won the winter royal international qualifier at Onley indoors to qualify for the final, going clear all 3 rounds!

Consistently jumped the HOYS qualifiers all year for such an unlucky 4 faults again through nerves from the rider and learning at this level but this pony always went through the start and finish, and this was a decent score given the tough tracks throughout the summer premiers. We eventually gained our HOYS 2024 ticket .

At HOYS Joey was amazing he went clear and into the jump off in both his and Freddie debut at HOYS, couldn’t have asked for a better pony to experience it all with. Qualified for London Interantional Horse Show December 2024.

Selected for England home pony teams 2024 jumping 2 x double clear, getting his jockey his England badge.

So many people can vouch for this pony who jumps out of pure heart for the job, very sound and correct and enjoys being a normal pony hacking through the forest. Not a mad type and will educate the smallest of jockeys the ranks of British showjumping. Honest, kind and straightforward ride. Quick in a jump off and loves to be competitive! Always aims to help his riders out and just a pure pleasure to take out and own.

Good trial facilities, hundreds of videos from starting out to top level available and references from professional trainers. Based Gt Hallingbury, Herts
