Wills is a lovely chap with a cheeky personality, he is a joy to have on the yard
A real head tuner, Barbie pony, always in the frillies
Flatwork
Wills is naturally built uphill and oozes presence. He has beautiful, straight, balanced paces. Has only been schooled by my daughter, she has taught him basic laterals and even flying changes.
Jumping
SJ naturally scopey jump can be spooky with fillers, turns and burns but equally quite happy to trot round a course of x poles
XC has done ditches, steps, skinnies etc no problem, can be hesitant to go into water but improving with every outing.
Hacking
Wills will go in front, behind, middle … anywhere! As safe as they come with buses, tractors, trailers etc. will happily walk out on the buckle, or always up for picking up the gears and going for a gallop
Wills loads and travels like a dream, and will stand all day at shows. Fully up to date with teeth, vet, feet etc.
Has done a bit of everything whilst we have had him: mounted games, area dressage, sj teams, beach rides, camp, stay away shows - he’s seen the world, and my daughter has had the best time doing it all with him
Wills ways
Of course he isn’t perfect, didn’t have the best of starts to life so can be nervous around new people, but as soon as you get that bond he’s your best friend.
If you want to ride before his mates are coming in from the field make sure you are heavily armed with carrots - or just leave him in (he’s quite happy to stand in with a net)
He is fine to clip but does not like the big clippers on his legs (we just use small ones now and he is fine)
This pony is absolutely adored by our family and it is a heartbreaking sale, but kids grow and ponies unfortunately don’t.
Homes will be heavily vetted
