We are searching for our daughter’s next best friend as she has very sadly outgrown her current pony (who has a home for life with us). Our horses are kept at home with us & our daughter, Ivy, is involved in every aspect of their care, so a trustworthy, best friend type is a must. Ivy currently enjoys varied activities with her pony including hacking from home, boxing up for forest rides, XC, clinics, local shows & lessons. We are not looking for a ‘world beater’ or a ‘rosette machine’ - we enjoy spending time with our horses & they are treated as part of the family, so temperament is hugely important. Up to now, Ivy has enjoyed attending regular clinics & local shows, jumping up to 70cm. She would like to find a new partner to progress with, enjoying the same variety with a horse comfortable jumping around 80/90cm.

Ivy’s current pony is not a kick along, she can be quite forward when jumping, so she would be fine with a responsive ride, however, we are not looking for anything too keen/strong or whizzy. Absolutely nothing that rears or bolts. Sadly, Ivy was bolted with when viewing a pony previously, so we would like to find a sensible horse who does not become too strong or excitable when out hacking in open spaces, alone or in company.

We live in a rural area & hack along quiet roads, but we do sometimes meet our local farmer, so we need a horse who is confident to pass farm vehicles.

We often box up to go for forest rides or to attend clinics, lessons & shows so our new horse needs to be happy to load & travel alone or with company.

We understand that no horse is perfect & we are not searching for a ‘unicorn’ so please be honest about any known quirks or habits as we are open to manageable imperfections. We will not buy unseen & would wish to have the horse vetted.

is a beautiful 16.1hh sports horse, been slowly and professionally produced , she had her first foal as a 5 year old after being lightly backed as a rising 4 year old, after weaning her first foal she was then slowly produced for 18month out jumping BS upto 1.5m, She was then put back in foal again for 2025

Sadly our circumstances have changed so she is regretfully up for sale, it breaks my heart to even write this advert. But if the right home comes along i would let them go.

Vaccinated upto date and herpes vaccine also been given. Completely sound no previous injuries full history know as I bought direct from her breeder as a 4 year old

She has been produced mainly for showjumping but will turn her hand to anything, goes well on the flat and snaffle mouthed, totally uncomplicated ride, safe and sensible, catches, loads & travels great and a dream to clip and with farrier, although she's straight forward she's not a plod along horse for a novice she's a keen forward thinking mare who will give you her all.

Beautiful weight carrying piebald cob gelding . He is great to look after a real gentleman loves being groomed. Good to catch,Load,Bath,Stable great with farrier front shoes good feet.

He has masses of thick mane,proper wedding dress tail and lots of feathers. He is good to clip. Olly is a lovely cob and has only had two owners from birth. I bought from a farm to teach my novice boyfriend to ride on, All my friends ride him all different riding abilities . He is happy having total beginners on lead rein.

During the time we’ve owned him we have done lots of fun rides . He is great to hack alone or in company we live on a very busy country park with hundreds of Cyclists,walkers,Dogs etc popping out from everywhere. He is also use to cattle, Sheep and Pigs. We are in the farming community here with lots of big tractors and machinery up narrow lanes . He is also great with quad bikes he lived next to a scramble bike track.

Olly is a brilliant happy hack and is happy being tied in the pub beer garden and loves lots of attention from people. I am looking for a happy hack home for him he will pop logs in the woods. Olly isn’t a show jumper or dressage diva more a family friend . He has no health issues and cheap to keep. I am only selling Olly because my none horsey boyfriend doesn’t like riding.

15.2hh 7yo ‘sports cob’ Gypsy is a kind, fun and competitive gelding. 

He has a HOYS winning half sister from his dams side and Jaguar Mail on his sires side. With balanced and expressive paces Gypsy always marks well in dressage consistently posting low 30s. 

He is a super careful jumper rarely having a pole and would make a very competitive pure showjumper. Gypsy is great fun cross country, straight and brave and always fast!

He is a consistent double clear machine and has picked up some great results up to BE100 including multiple top 10 placings, 3rd at Chillington Regional championship and a win at Askham Bryan. 

His focus has been eventing but he really could excel in any sphere and would probably suit a PC/RC amateur who wants to be competitive at everything and have fun.

Gypsy loves his hunting and will jump anything you put him at. Stands sweetly at the meet and will go all day anywhere in the field. 

Good to hack alone or in company but would prefer a friend when around heavy traffic. 

He is a really genuine happy chap and has no malice whatsoever but can be bouncy and forward going so no novices please. Super easy to do and is a gent on the ground, good to clip shoe travel etc.

Yorkie schools beautifully on the flat, he has a lovely way of going with super movement and elasticity. He has quality paces and a real wow factor. He adapts very well to different riders. His schooling getting back to novice/elementary level at home. He has so much class and potential to affiliate and such a good work ethic and trainable temperament. I would love to see him fulfilling his potential in a dressage home.

Yorkie hacks out alone or in company, he is good on the roads and in open spaces. He loves a hack through the woods or on the roads and is very enjoyable. He has been doing lots of hacking with us. We wouldn’t mind him going to a happy hacking home either.

Yorkie has a big personality and great temperament. He loves nothing more than being the centre of attention. He loves people and will make someone an amazing best friend as he is extremely loving and loyal. He loves all the attention of being groomed and pampered.

We have started doing some jumping with Yorkie too and he is enjoying it!

He is tall but not a heavy sort so wouldn’t suit a heavy rider.
