I’ve had the pleasure of owning Duke for 6 years and in that time he has taken me from jumping 90cm to 1m15 and 1m30 at home. Everyone who knows Duke knows how unbelievably special he is.

Duke does everything and anything from hunting to show jumping he has done it all! He has a record competing at 1m10/1m15, BS and unaffiliated. He absolutely loves his jumping, he is strong, quick and competitive .

He really is part of the family and on the ground he can be handled by a toddler! He loves beach rides, fun rides and long hacks. He is an absolute cross country machine and will jump everything and anything put in front of him. He is the bravest horse I’ve ever met with an absolute heart of gold. All good to clip, shoe, load etc, the usual.

This is the hardest thing I will ever have to do and homes will be vetted. I am of course open to any and every question regarding Duke as his new home is the most important thing to me.

He’s wasted potential at the moment and needs to be out having fun! I have loads more photos and videos on request.

She has experience in flatwork lessons, both private and group, as well as participating in our in-house low level showjumping and cross-country novice classes and competitions. She is confident over coloured and rustic fences and has a bold, careful jump.

Winnie also loves to hack out and does so safely and calmly. She will happily hack alone or in company and has been exposed to the heaviest, fastest-moving traffic imaginable. She is completely unphased by buses, lorries, farm machinery and all types of vehicles. She remains safe and steady in all environments and does not rush or pull, even in open spaces or on the way home.

Although she is happy to go at a quiet, steady pace, she is also responsive to the leg and has three balanced, steady paces. For more experienced riders, she will work with enthusiasm and energy, always staying calm and sensible.

Manners, Temperament & Handling

Winnie has outstanding ground manners. She stands for hours to be groomed and fussed over, with or without a headcollar or lead rope. She is never marish or clingy, and she’s happy living in or out. In the field, she keeps herself to herself and never causes trouble, whether stabled alone or turned out in a mixed herd.

Winnie has a history of excellent health and has never had laminitis, sweet itch, sarcoids, or any lumps, bumps, or unsoundness. She is currently barefoot with strong, healthy hooves and is equally happy to be shod. She is excellent to catch, great to load and travel, and good with the farrier, vet, and dentist.

She is incredibly low maintenance, requiring no daily work. She can have weeks or even months off and return to ridden work without any fuss. She maintains her condition year-round on a simple diet and is easy to manage in every way.

She passes her annual Licence Inspection, which is the equivalent of a Stage 2 vetting.

Lea is a 15hh, 16 year old Irish bred bay mare.

We have owned Lea for 3 years. She has been a fantastic transition from pony to horse but it is sadly time to find Lea her new best friend.

Lea would suit a pony club home for someone who wants to do a bit of everything. She has done lots of pony club rallies; flat work, jumping, XC and a bit of Mounted Games. She has been to two pony club camps, been on lots of beach rides, taken part in School Show jumping, fun rides, hunter trails and loves hunting. She has evented up to 80 and Show Jumps confidently at 90.

Lea really enjoys hunting but needs a competent rider, as she can get very excited whilst hunting.

Lea is good to hack out and good with all traffic. She hacks out alone or with company but prefers to go out with others.

Would suit a competent teen or small adult. No novices, as she can be strong.

Great to Clip, Shoe and load (with a control head collar).

She is up to date with all vaccinations, and dentist.

A very sad sale due to his owner moving away.

Pedro is a real genuine gentleman who loves fuss and cuddles, he has three good paces and has previously show jumped before joining our dressage livery yard so we have now mainly produced his flat work, he is a pro at long reining and still does lots of pole work. He hacks out well best in company, and is always up for a good canter on our local common, So he really is a great all rounder and turns his hoof to anything you put him up to.

Pedro would suit a confident rider as he has a big canter and can look for confidence in his rider, he would make a great teenagers horse for someone looking to learn a bit of everything and have some fun or someone with confidence and experience would compliment him well.

Spudley has 590 BD points and has competed up to Intermediate eventing. After a break through no fault of his own, he has now been brought back into work and is back up to fulll fitness for competition. 

He is absolutely superb on the flat and would look after and teach any young rider. He has been out show jumping for an outing and popped round 80cm beautifully for a third place in a big class. He has been cross country schooling with a relative novice on board. 

Spudley is an absolute dream to hack out alone or in company, doesn't mind a large group and will not get strong or silly, never bucks, rears or naps. 

Behaves beautifully at competitions, loads and travels well. Will stand on the lorry and wait his turn and ties up to the side as well.

Sue is a beautiful 16.3hh chestnut mare looking for a loving home. Very sad sale due to work commitments and travelling so home is a top priority!

Sue is a very easy going mare, an uncomplicated ride and never gets strong. She has her own funny little ways of doing things (she is a mare after all) but once you get to know her is the easiest horse you could hope to ride

Been on numerous fun rides and hunting, happy to sit at the front or back and always in a simple rubber snaffle, never gets strong and just sits in her quiet, even canter!

Schools beautifully in all 3 paces and is the queen of grid work

Hasn’t done much showjumping other than the odd unaffiliated, some classes in Ireland as a youngster and a BSJA on a ticket

Hacks alone and in company however can need a lead off the yard if she gets attached to another horse (will go from there alone)

Has had a couple of lovely foals before being brought back into work and makes a great mother

Never sick or sorry, she has a scar just above one hoof from a cut as a young horse however this has never affected her!

The time has now come to find The wonderful Mr Ed his new forever home.

We have owned this fantastic horse, now aged 17, for over 9 years.

During this time he has been ridden by a wide range of teenagers and adults in our pony club centre, which sadly closed 10 months ago.

I had hoped to keep him forever but he is being wasted and has so much talent and experience still to give.

Ed is a stunning Irish bred, 16.2hh gelding who works beautifully on the flat, with placings at Unaffiliated Novice dressage and countless winnings Show jumping including Pony Club team SJ at Hickstead.

He pops round 100 tracks, happily taking a miss and always helping his riders out. Previously to us owning him, Ed hunted with Surrey Union.

Ed is 100 % in traffic and is an enjoyable, comfortable hack in company.

Ed makes all his riders look and feel fantastic. Everyone that has ever ridden him loves him.

He is the easiest horse to ride and jump and a really kind, genuine horse to do.

He is super easy to handle, catch, clip, shoe and loads and travels beautifully in our 7.5t lorry. He currently lives out but is also happy in and has super stable mannors.

I have owned Inka for 6 years and she has now retired from jumping. Now looking for a quieter life. She has been a lovely friend and successful showjumper for me and loves to work.

She is no longer able to compete, but will make a super hack and general ride, and would be fine at low levels of dressage. I cannot fault her, she is very easy to handle, shoe, box, groom etc. and would never hurt you.

I am very fond of Inka and would like her to find a new home where she will still be ridden. She is very safe and I jumped on her after 3 months in the field and she was as good as gold. I put her over a couple of cross poles as she loves to jump, but please understand the odd jump in the school is OK, but she will not compete now. She prefers her own field, and is fine with horses next to her.

It is very important she finds a kind and loving home, and I will need reassurance before she parts company with me.

Easy to do in every why. Catch, load ( trailer or lorry) lives in or out. Happy with mares or gelding’s or on her own.

Has been looked after by my 14 year old daughter with no problems. Riding on her own, loading her into the trailer, catching her.

She loves fun rides where she will jump everything. Been trail hunting with my daughter and was great.

Evie however doesn’t want to compete anymore so would not suit a pony club home, hence this reluctant sale.

She is excellent with the vet, farrier and goes to sleep when clipped!
