- Allrounder, exceptionally well-trained and beautiful boy.
Ace of Diamonds is the most beautiful, gentle, steady gelding and a beautifully put together horse. We have had him since we got him from his breeder as a colt - where he has been brought on exceptionally carefully. An exceptional gelding - Autumn Hunted and Hunted 4 seasons, very steady, doesn't pull, phenomenal movement & carriage due to his spectacular Sire.
We have spent many hours developing and training him with the Parelli Natural Horsemanship method, since getting him. His breeding lines are absolutely sensational, very elegant and classy.
Never had a lame day, he is turned out all year round, but equally happy stabled and travels incredibly well. Easy to clip, pull mane, plait, shoe. Very frequently washed as he looks so glorious when he's clean!
He hacks in busy traffic daily if hacking out. Hacks alone, hacks in company, in front, behind, middle, with 1-2 other horses, or with a string of horses. He ride & leads happily, again, in front, behind, alone or in company.
Due to his natural capability and movement (due to his breeding - sire) he could turn his hoof to any discipline, however with us he has done fun rides, and tons and tons of hunting. Covers all country, very careful and the sweetest boy; with a lovely character, he is inquisitive and a delight to have around.
He's been trained exceptionally well in his time with us; we bought him as a colt, so he's only ever known 2 homes - the breeder and us - he was kept by the breeder whom she bred from, due to his phenomenal lines. With us he's been the most fantastic family horse, shared amongst us as a family, fun rides, riding all over, and hunting.
He's the sort of horse you can drag in from the field after weeks away, tack up on his own and hack out, and throw him back into the field without a thought the only difference one would notice, is his interest in the 'world' but he is not fizzy or fussed about traffic / horses / dogs etc. He rides out alone, or in company, farm traffic and farm life, inc. busy A roads, shoot 'traffic' and farm traffic. Loads in a trailer or lorry, (3.5 or 7.5T)
We ride our horses in Dr Cook Bitless Bridle's, but otherwise he's in a snaffle and is gentle in the mouth. Only vice is he can be a little messy in his stable, so a small hole net is recommended, or he'll drag all the hay out!
Coming from a family yard, for sale as I go abroad with work and don't need as many horses at home, as I can share my mothers/sisters. My mother’s work constraints mean I am reducing my workload for her at home. NOT an urgent sale, we will continue to bring him into work for the upcoming hunting season and only sell to the right home, while we do need to reduce pressure at home, he is a spectacular boy and only the right home will be considered.
Ace of Diamonds (Diamond Echo is his proper name!) is so gorgeous he could easily be turned into an Eventer, or show jumper, or anything your heart desires - he is honest and willing and so gentle, he has a lot of love and life to give and his new home is very important to us.
He has also been a pro model for us, as modelled on one of Nicholas Sparks' novels!
His Sire:
Treliver Decanter is a distinguished British Warmblood stallion renowned for his exceptional temperament, powerful athleticism, and impressive pedigree. Sired by the renowned Dressage horse Dimaggio, he possesses outstanding movement, elasticity, and a natural ability to excel in both dressage and show jumping. His conformation, balance, and elegance have made him a sought-after choice for breeders aiming to produce top-quality performance horses with both talent and trainable temperaments.
