Fergus is a fantastic stamp of a colt, great conformation, great feet, beautiful head, lustrous coat, and a charming, affectionate nature. Photos never do justice. He has lived his short life turned out with companions his age under the firm guidance of older mares. He is brought in daily to be groomed, checked over, and walked out. Stunning eye catching colt born May 2024. Showjumping success from both dam and sire.

His sire ‘J’taime flamenco’ (ridden by Billy Twomey) was successful in age classes, winning seven of the world’s major Grand Prix including HOYS, Belfast, Amsterdam, Barcelona and Valencia.
Team GB Member, Michael Whitaker said of Je T’aime Flamenco, he is “One of the most exciting stallions to be available in the UK – a major winner of International Grand Prix. A stallion who has performed consistently through all the grades.”

His Dam ‘Beluga Z’ has competed successfully in FEI young horse classes in Kroneburg where she was ridden by Anthony Condon as well as in the UK foxhunter and 1.30 classes respectively. Poppy is a well grown, correct, blood filly. We have thoughtfully bred her by the incredibly successful stallion Leprince des Bois out of a Head Stud Book graded Mare. Leprince himself evented to 4* and importantly retired sound. He is proving to be a popular choice for event horse breeding and his oldest offspring are beginning to go under saddle.

Poppys dam Giulietta is a beautiful and correct KWPN mare by the WBFSH leading sire of eventers, Diarado. She has 2 maternal half siblings at 1.50 showjumping and her own mother has a maternal half brother competing at 160 showjumping. Giulietta herself has been an allround amateurs riding horse until becoming a broodmare. Giulietta was recently presented to at an SHBGB mare grading and successfully gained Head Stud Book status.

We will be sad to see poppy move on but we have a baby due and must cut down on numbers. We would love to see her go to a competition home.
