Exquisite black 2024 filly bred for top sport looking for a new home. Leprince des Bois x Diarado x Voltaire.

Poppy is a well grown, correct, blood filly. We have thoughtfully bred her by the incredibly successful stallion Leprince des Bois out of a Head Stud Book graded Mare. Leprince himself evented to 4* and importantly retired sound. He is proving to be a popular choice for event horse breeding and his oldest offspring are beginning to go under saddle.

Poppys dam Giulietta is a beautiful and correct KWPN mare by the WBFSH leading sire of eventers, Diarado. She has 2 maternal half siblings at 1.50 showjumping and her own mother has a maternal half brother competing at 160 showjumping. Giulietta herself has been an allround amateurs riding horse until becoming a broodmare. Giulietta was recently presented to at an SHBGB mare grading and successfully gained Head Stud Book status.

We will be sad to see poppy move on but we have a baby due and must cut down on numbers. We would love to see her go to a competition home.

She is based in the east midlands between Melton and Grantham. Open to any inspection.
