Bobby is an experienced and eye catching Connemara gelding who we have owned for 2 fantastic years. During this time he has taught my daughter so much, given her many amazing experiences and made her into a confident and competitive rider.
He really enjoys taking part in Pony club rallies/training/tests/camps and represented his branch in Show jumping and eventing teams (PC70 and PC80). He has qualified and been placed at area and regional championships and has numerous wins and placings in PC competitions, unaffiliated SJ and arena events at 70,80,90. Bobby has competed BE 80/90. Bobby has many wins and placings at NSEA JWS and SJ competitions and has qualified numerous times for the national championships.
He is hacked alone and in company round our farm and is used to quiet road traffic, lorries, farm machinery.
Bobby is a forward going competition pony.
He is not suitable for a nervous rider, he needs a quiet, relaxed rider who is willing to build a partnership with him and wants to have fun competing.
He loves to compete in SJ, arena events, PC eventing, BE, XC. Lovely pony for mother/daughter or son to share.
Bobby is a delight to handle on the ground, in the stable, bath, shoe, clip, catch, load, and travel.
He likes a routine of being turned out in the field through the day and stabled at night.
Bobby has equine asthma which is easily managed with dust free bedding, haylage or soaked hay and regular turnout. This is reflected in his price and hasn’t bothered him in the two years we have owned him. He is currently in work and ready to go for the season ahead.
Bobby is a dearly loved pony who is only being sold because teenage rider is far too tall for him now and the time has come to find him a new rider to have fun with.
Bobby will only go to an experienced and knowledgeable 5 star home.
