Heartbreaking sale of our amazing girl who is now sadly outgrown.
Flora is a British Spotted Pony, also listed as a Pintaloosa on her passport. She came to us with very low mileage, and we have owned her for over two years. Both my daughters have done so much with her and had a lot of fun with her. She's easy to look after, a pleasure to have on the yard, lives in or out, shod in front, barefoot behind.
Achievements so far:
• BS British Novice and Discovery, qualifying for second rounds (last year) and Blue Chip Championships.
• Sunshine Tour Championships and Supreme Championships, showjumping.
• Pony Club Regional Championships Showjumping and Eventing
• Arena Eventing, qualifying for Riding Club Championships.
• Pony Club Senior stay-away camps and Pony club rallies
• Plenty of ‘stay-away’ competitions for both BS and Pony Club.
• Lots of local shows with plenty of placings.
• Beach rides
Her greatest love is showjumping and has been competing 80-95cm easily, she’s consistent and always in the ribbons. She has three correct paces, schools well and can produce a nice dressage test.
She would suit a small teenager or lightweight adult. She loves her job but needs a confident rider as she is forward going, she wouldn’t suit a novice or someone looking for a first pony.
Up to date with vaccinations and teeth. Loads and travels well in a lorry or trailer. Easy to keep, with us she lives in during the day and out at night. Easy to clip and bath (which is handy as she is very white!). Easiest pony to take to competitions and stay-aways. We hack a lot, she prefers to hack in company as she can be more nervous on her own.
I cannot praise this pony enough, if my daughters hadn’t outgrown her, we wouldn’t be selling her. We’ve never had her officially measured but at home, with shoes on she measures approx. 140cms. My daughter has been competing her in the 148cm sections as she is too old to do the 138cms and she easily copes with the striding. She would possibly measure in for the 138cm section for a younger rider with a height measurement.
5* home a must. We’re not in a hurry to sell her as finding the right home is essential. Lots of videos available and happy to answer any questions.
