“Oscar” is a 5 year old (2019) gelding by Ogano Sitte out of a Plot Blue mare.

Having been professionally produced by his breeder he jumped the age classes in Spain earlier this year before being purchased and jumped by an amateur over the summer. He jumped in the 5 year old classes (1.20) at the Hickstead Young Horse Championships this summer, qualifying for the final - not to be in the final but showed his superb attitude and talent for the future, jumping super in both the qualifiers in a big atmosphere.

Oscar has 3/4 newcomer DCs for next year, since hickstead we have jumped a few discovery’s to allow him to have some downtime and fun (although admittedly he’s a bit causal at that height !)

He will absolutely take a miss, and always gives his all. There is a couple of refusals on his record which are circles due to rider misrepresenting, I have most of his videos and happy to send all our rounds good and bad.

Outside of the ring Oscar is the most polite big chap, he is perfect to handle, loves a fuss and good to clip/bath/shoe/load. He works nicely on the flat with good changes and an armchair canter you could sit to all day.

Oscar has been to the beach and out in open spaces and is never silly or fresh, he wouldn’t know how to buck or rear. Sadly due to yard we haven’t done much hacking but again he is very sensible and will take confidence from his rider to have a go at pretty much anything.

Up to date with absolutely everything, teeth/vacs/physio, no expense has been spared on this chap, good set of X-rays inc back from earlier this year.

Absolutely no novices or tyre kickers. He probably could be your granny’s horse but I would like him to go to a 15* home where he will be produced on correctly and be someone’s absolute best buddy.

Very sadly listed due to personal circumstances and not in any rush to find him a new home.
