Bailey 14hh 10yr cob mare

Fun allrounder for RC / PC / hunting / fun rides etc.

A cob for a job, Bailey is not sharp, spooky, overly forward or reactive but is a capable little type for lots of fun!

She has recently been borrowed for both senior and junior camp due to pony injuries and been a star for everything asked of her, including the 85cm ode at the end of senior week.

She's responsive to aids on the flat, but will also go off your voice, with tidy transitions and halt to trot/walk to canter when asked.
Schools in the school or field, however doesn't want to be in the school day in day out as gets bored.

She enjoys jumping and has jumped everything asked of her, sj and xc, fillers, water etc, again nicely forward and takes you in but not strong or fast. She'll trot or canter in and is forgiving of a wobble.

Done some SJ and combined training at RC level with my 10 year old and been out on hound exercise proving mannerly and sensible, she really enjoyed this and is fit and ready to go for this season for either a child or small adult to enjoy.

Good in open spaces with and without company, she'll hack round the fields and also lead the youngsters round, do gates etc.

She hacks well in company, good in traffic. She does prefer to follow or be up sides and I assume has mostly hacked in company.

She can be nappy to take alone and try to turn back, if pushed she will bob, we're working on this.

She was a little nappy at camp when she'd been stood around with all the others for a long time then had to go away, but was fine when she was kept busy with a job in front of her.

She needs someone that will ignore her, send her forward and I think before long she'll probably not bother much at all.

She'd be pretty much anyone's ride apart from this, but she does enjoy getting out and about so I'd prefer to see her in a fun home where she'll be able to go out and have fun doing PC/RC etc anyway rather than solely a hack about.

Nice and easy to have around, happy in, out, wherever you put her. Settles well, food is of upmost importance to her! And settled well while away at camp and at another yard while back and forth to junior camp.

Good to catch, lead, bath, groom, trim (currently barefoot and manages v well), she'll sometimes take a minute to load, she's been on a trailer, 3.5t and bigger lorry. She's better onto the lorry but literally just has a sniff of the trailer, realises you've got a snack, give her a shove and she's on and she travels well with or without company.

Not sure how she is to clip.

No lumps/bumps, slight mallenders but not sore, we just keep it soft and moisturised.

Open to vet

She is a sales livery
