Milly was bought by us just over a year ago as a fun pony for my daughter to compete in Cradle Stakes, unaffiliated sj and arena eventing. She has proved to be a great first competition pony.

She will trot the cross poles with my youngest daughter then turn up the speed and win with my older daughter. She has won unaffiliated with us at Aintree, Northcote and Morris equestrian and has also won lower level BSPS cradle stakes classes. She has competed at arena eventing with us and again won around 50cm and 60 cm classes.

We feel that Milly would be best suited to an established small jockey ready to go out and do unaffiliated sj/NSEA/trailblazers/ arena eventing/ pony club. She likes the fun things and enjoys an established jockey. She did a BSPS camp with us and went through the water, ditches , steps etc on cross country no problem and although she can be forward on the cross country she has brakes . She also very much seemed to know the score with games.

When we purchased Milly we were not informed that she had had laminitis in the past. We had her insulin levels checked and these were raised but she does not have Cushings. We have managed her by limiting her turnout to a couple of hours a day but we do not soak her hay.

This is an honest sale as due to my lucky children having other ponies and us doing mainly working hunter shows, Milly is not being enjoyed as much as she should be.

RUBY - A lovely sweet Mare that who is super fun in all ways. Sadly outgrown, and with priorities elsewhere, Ruby is now available and ideal for a young confident rider wanting to enjoy all activities:

* Numerous SJ wins and places, upto 1.10m (jumping bigger at home) - will be happy to step back down - BS 2nd a the Pony Premier 1m (2024), Second Rounds & Championship experience (2023)
* Good Dressage experience - 65% Preliminary (Affiliated), 69% Novice (Unaffiliated) & always placed at Pony Club upto Intermediate level (good lateral work)
* Numerous placing at Arena Eventing (Unaffiliated)
* XC schooled - ditches, steps & brave with the water
* Good to hack, plus Beach Rides etc
* Easy to handle - great to clip/shoe, loads on a trailer first time and will stand quietly all day

Ruby has been sensitively and professionally developed with her best years ahead of her, with an amazing scopey jump but will happily step back down to teach another child. Good flat work (ridden in a snaffle), keen to please.

Ruby is good to hack (alone and in company), plenty of road hacking experience; current home has plenty of farm machinery and she is unfazed by it. Can be turned out 24/7 or in at night, and amazing at shows (including stay aways), up to date with vaccinations, dentist and physio. She has never been lame and is never sick or sorry for herself.

Ruby has been educated in the last 12-18 months with established changes and significant experience of most disciplines, so would make an ideal Pony Club/NSEA/Leisure pony. She is fit and ready to go for her next jockey.

Ruby has only had 2 homes since being backed - testament top her character and the joy she brings.

Will come with some tack and a full wardrobe of rugs.
