  • New Forest

  • The ultimate schoolmistress
  • Push button ride
  • Honest and genuine pony

Quality new forest 14.2 JA Mare 18 years young still full of life looking for her next home due to no fault of her own other than my younger sister has simply lost interest !

Registered Name : Pleuny Esme

Some highlights of Esme

- pony club type

- won the NSEA 1.10 in individual 2022

- perfect BS starter pony

- hacks alone or in company in open spaces or roads

- brilliant at cross country

Has done unaffiliated dressage

- loves beach rides

Esme is the ultimate schoolmistress, has 3 lovely flowing paces , does her lateral changes and is snaffle mouthed at all times. Esme is straight and easy to a fence, she will step up or down for her riding she’s a very kind and caring mare that looks after her rider. Esme has been ridden by a 7 year old girl who is straight out of a riding school, she has ridden her in open fields, on the flat and jumped her at home she is a saint ! She has also been used as a lead rein pony for my severely autistic 4 year old nephew to learn to ride on!

Esme will never take offence to her rider if she is deep to a fence or on a long stride she will always take a miss and never holds a grudge, she easy kind and forgiving. She really is worth her weight in gold and a hard type of pony to find??

Esme has an FEI passport is FEI Life Height Measured she has previously jumped abroad !

A type hard to find, each previous home she’d had prior to us she has been sold through word of mouth she is a known mare on circuit. Esme has good record up to 1.10 nationally and internationally.

Esme is a lovely pony to work with and have around she is a yard favourite. Esme is good around cars or heavy machinery, good clip, shoe, load, travel, dentist etc

She would be a great mother/daughter share, pony club type or a bs starter as she is so versatile. I rode her myself until I was 8 months pregnant and she was the first horse I got back on just 4 weeks after my c section that just shows how safe and sensible she is. She just wants to please her rider and be loved.

Reasonably priced for what she is as she is a hard sort find.

Up to date with teeth, physio vaccinations, worming and farrier

We have had five and a half fun-packed years with Harry, he is now sadly outgrown and my daughter is busy competing on her 13.2hh. I had hoped to keep him for my younger daughter but she just isn't interested.

Harry did step down nicely to do the job of first pony for us and taught my daughter then aged 7 to ride, on the lunge, progressing to riding by herself around the school, jumping small courses and attending weekly pony club rallies. He also did the same for his previous owner's little boy. However, I would say Harry would be much happier being a second pony, he is clever, he has an engine and he can be strong jumping bigger courses.

In his time with us he has done PC and NSEA jumping and dressage, however he has not been out for quite a while due to being outgrown, a broken wrist (trampoline) and other sports commitments, we have kept him ticking over, so he is fit and ready to go. He has jumped around 80/85cm courses at home and on clinics. On the few occasions we have taken him cross country schooling, he has gone up/down steps, jumped ditches and gone through the water. He has participated in sponsored rides, he is safe in open spaces cantering in the fields, and has given my daughter the joyous feeling of galloping on Camber Sands beach at dawn! He has been to pony club camp and he has previously participated in some mounted games winter pairs competitions and training.

I think as a working hunter pony is where Harry's talent lies. He goes in a lovely outline and he is great over rustic fences. He is gorgeous looking and wears a beautiful white mask on his face. In his previous home he had a very successful showing career. He can also produce a very smart dressage test.

Harry is great to hack alone/company. He has been a lead rein pony for us too and I have regularly taken him out with a child on board in one hand and dog in the other. My daughter from quite a young age would take him for a good canter around the fields alone, sometimes following a herd of deer, whilst I walked up with our dogs. He has been well behaved when we've met traffic on our lanes. He is good to load and travel, but prefers company.

Harry has no vices - apart from his love of eating, but sadly for him, he is kept on a strict diet! He is absolutely no bother to catch, bath, clip, vet, farrier (barefoot). He would suffer from sweet itch and also get a sunburnt nose so I keep him protected during the season. He has never been lame or unwell, my physio checks him when she does our horses and he's never needed any treatment. He's always perky, friendly and happy to see you.

£5500 or £6000 including his Kent and Masters Pony Club saddle and full wardrobe. Open to vetting. Sad sale of a much loved pony. 5* home required.

Milly was bought by us just over a year ago as a fun pony for my daughter to compete in Cradle Stakes, unaffiliated sj and arena eventing. She has proved to be a great first competition pony.

She will trot the cross poles with my youngest daughter then turn up the speed and win with my older daughter. She has won unaffiliated with us at Aintree, Northcote and Morris equestrian and has also won lower level BSPS cradle stakes classes. She has competed at arena eventing with us and again won around 50cm and 60 cm classes.

We feel that Milly would be best suited to an established small jockey ready to go out and do unaffiliated sj/NSEA/trailblazers/ arena eventing/ pony club. She likes the fun things and enjoys an established jockey. She did a BSPS camp with us and went through the water, ditches , steps etc on cross country no problem and although she can be forward on the cross country she has brakes . She also very much seemed to know the score with games.

When we purchased Milly we were not informed that she had had laminitis in the past. We had her insulin levels checked and these were raised but she does not have Cushings. We have managed her by limiting her turnout to a couple of hours a day but we do not soak her hay.

This is an honest sale as due to my lucky children having other ponies and us doing mainly working hunter shows, Milly is not being enjoyed as much as she should be.

We are based in Cumbria. Please whats app for videos

Toffee

Approx 14.1 (a little bum high so may finish off 14.2) rising 5 year old mare. Connie x , breeding part recorded.

Where do I start with Toffee! She is the kindest little soul with the most willing and ‘aims to please’ temperament.

Toffee has been properly started and not rushed or ragged about. Backed at the beginning of this year and brought on slowly. She is a stunning pony with a beautiful pretty head, well put together and a nice mover.

Toffee hacks alone and in company, loves to box up and go for a hack in the woods and pop some logs. Just started jumping and has a lovely good jump. Went out to an arena hire and popped round a course of fences with planks very sweetly. Done a little XC schooling and was very honest. Works happily in the field. Lovely soft mouth, she wouldn’t know how to pull and is nice off the leg.

Really nice pony to bring on for any discipline be that happy hacking/pony club/sj/dressage and would look lovely in the show ring.

A petite pony but takes the leg and has been ridden by 5’6 rider who didn’t look too big. Toffee would be best suited to an experienced home looking to continue bringing on a young pony. She wouldn’t be at a stage where she’d like an unbalanced or flappy rider but she has been ridden here by a competent 11 year old and they got on great! She is a safe sensible pony just obviously green due to age.

Clean 5 stage vetting (10/4/2025) before I imported her and ready to find her new humans to love.

Good to load/clip/handle/wash off/tack up.

Meet Cookie, or Valepark spring time as he is known with the Dartmoor pony society.

This happy chappy is looking for his next family to love and teach.

Cookie is a star at upgrading and down grading to suit his riders abilities. He is calm and kick along with a nervy rider on board. He is however versatile enough to upgrade with a more confident accomplished jockey and throughly enjoys jumping, forest rides, hunter trials, PC and always gives his rider a fun but safe experience. He really does enjoy his job.

Cookie has successfully competed at local level, always coming home with ribbons and smiles all round. Would be a great m and m or WHP competitor in the right hands.

3 very nice paces, rides off the leg in an outline when asked, equally as happy to plod along on the buckle.

Cookie happily hacks alone or in company, never fazed by anything. Fantastic in big groups and open spaces. Never strong or silly, always in a snaffle, basic bridle, no martingale etc.

Currently living out but has lived in previously. Requires virtually no maintenance, a really sturdy little good doer.

Handled by children, has a lovely temperament.

Bare foot at the moment. Great with the farrier/box/catch/clip. No quirks or vices. Open to vet inspection etc. no previous medical issues.

Hazel is a rising 11 year old 14.2hh Chestnut Appaloosa/Welsh Section D Mare. She is a brilliant hunting pony - this is her "calling" in life! She also loves any sort of ride in company (fun rides; hunt rides) but she doesn't like showjumping as this is just not for her.

Hazel has been ridden by my young teenage daughter. She has hunted with the Cottesmore this season and went up front with the Huntsman on Pony Club Day, jumping all that was in front of her. She has also hunted in Yorkshire during the '24/'25 season and stayed out until dark.

Hazel has been involved in the Pony Club with my daughter for the past 2 years and has been at residential camp and won several rosettes.

Hazel is a lovely, friendly pony with no vices. She is good to clip, shoe, teeth, load etc and is fantastic on the ground with children playing around her. She has also lived with pigs and is bombproof.

She is a free moving and forward going pony, particularly in open spaces, she is not however, hot or fizzy. She would suit a hunting mad teenager/small adult.

Sad sale due to my teenage daughter wanting to do some low level eventing/showjumping.

For Sale ‘Extra’ an amazing Bay, Welsh Section ‘C’ Gelding.

Extra is the most amazing pony and this is genuinely a heartbreaking sale which is due to our daughter outgrowing him. It is now time for him to cast his magic with a new rider but needs a loving home.

He is not a lead rein but is a great first pony for a rider with an independent seat, confident in walk trot canter as he can be a bit speedy.

Do not be fooled by age, he is 21 but he has qualified for the NSEA Grassroots Nationals and Hickstead in the past month and regularly appears in the top three, jumping 50 to 70cm. Favourite competing places are Wellington, TandP, Snowball Farm, Bury Farm and the BCA.

Extra is great to catch, will never kick, fun to tack up and will stand all day being pampered and decorated for pony club events!

He hacks alone or in company, and is great in traffic.

He has done unaffiliated dressage, cross country and LOTs of show jumping (which is our daughters love).

Great to load, travel, clip and shoe.

Our vet says he will pass vetting and is amazed by his athleticism and references from his weekly instructor can also be made available.

He will only be sold to the very best loving home, and all enquiries must provide video’s before we would agree to visits.

We purchased this lovely pony from friends as 3yr old to continue the backing process and for him to be my grandsons l/r and f/r pony, however grandson has probably spent time with him in yard about 4 times in last 2 years he is just not interested.

Sadly due to my health issue's the backing has not got any further unfortunately.

We took him to one show in September 2023 but he's been a field ornament mainly since which is a total waste of top pony.

Coming in at night so in no way feral and quite the opposite as he loves people.

With former owners he excelled in-hand and took so many first and championships so has huge potential to be as accomplished under saddle once backed.

He had got as far as a toddler sitting on whilst led around, long lined and done ride and lead on roads from their other pony but having been 'abandoned' on this side of things since with us will need to start a re cap.

He is priced as unbroken but if he doesn't go this coming fortnight I plan to get my sorry act together in order to back him and obviously this will then be reflected in asking price that will go up.

I'm so limited on time hence happy to sell now at the price shown.

Good to do with all normal things, i.e farrier, loading lorry or trailer, easiest boy to catch and thinks he is THE important one, easy to bath, worm with syringe a doddle.

Measured last week and he stands full up 12hands.

Really would like to follow his progress and stay in touch as he is integrated in our hearts.

Phoenix really is a superb chap.

He'd be great fun for a confident rider who wants a pony to have fun with and gain experience on.

Phoenix works nicely on the flat and loves to jump. He'll go steady for a less experienced rider, and step up for someone more experienced. He hacks out happily through the woods, in open fields and in traffic both on his own and with company. He's perfectly behaved away from home, and has brought home plenty of rosettes!

He would be fantastic in a Pony Club home.

Phoenix is not spooky and is a chilled, easy going boy. He's well behaved on the ground and lovely to have around. He'll stand patiently for a groom and is good with the farrier and vet / dentist. He has no vet history, and he's currently shod in front.

Don't let his age put you off. Phoenix is young at heart, in great shape, and ready to share his experience in a new home.

We are based just outside Billingshurst.

Popsi a lovely natured and well mannered pony, both on the ground and in the stable.

Can be led by children, currently in a home with 3x children and on a working farm, very good in traffic with farm animals and machinery.

Happy to be groomed, tacked up, enjoys baths, easy to load and good to clip.

Been with us for 2 years mostly ridden by my now 9 year old daughter, who is looking to move onto her next pony.

Currently In pony club with us and has done a bit of everything with us including.
Showjumping
PC Games
Cross country
unaffiliated showing
beach ride
Schooling
hacking

Can be strong but always safe and has never bolted. Happy to lead or follow/ be at the back, with a group or solo. Enjoys showjumping, although has a wonderful scopey jump, out competing she is very comfortable and successful at jumping a course of 40/ 50/ 60cm. Can put in the odd refusal at higher levels/ fillers. But never nasty just stubborn.

Qualified with my daughter for the junior series final at Bishop Burton in the 60cm class in 2024. Happy with other ponies in the field, more a 1.5/2nd pony for a confident rider but had also been used as a a lead rein pony in previous home. Popsi had lovely paces and would easily school up to do dressage or showing.

Mo is that hard to find, versatile & proven Pony Club pony who has mastered every PC discipline but is now hopelessly outgrown. He has taken his jockey from a nervous 6yr old to a confident and capable 11yr old on so many adventures & taught her so much.

Mo has many strings to his bow including selections for numerous teams including - NI schools jumping teams, PC area eventing team, PC area SJ team, PC games team, NI Polocrosse team and selection for Team Ireland participating in the Four Nations Championships 2023 in England. He was again selected for the 2024 team.

He was on the winning Area 17 PC eventing team qualifying for Auchlishie, Scotland where they picked up a top 10 finish in UK PC eventing.
He finished individual 5th in the Area 17 home Championships and qualified & finished top 5 in the Northern Ireland rising stars SJ finals.

He has attended PC camps, both junior and senior, stay away shows, Balmoral show, PC Spring Barrier Festival in all 3 disciplines and has already qualified for this year’s Festival on their 1st attempt.

Mo is super smart with a quick brain who adores jumping, he will happily pop around x poles but over larger fences is when Mo really comes into his own. He has masses of scope and is amazing against the clock. He has many wins and placings never coming home without a ribbon.

Mo will produce a lovely pleasing dressage test and is mannerly & responsive to aids. He is forward yet safe and will step it up or down according to his riders ability. He rides in a snaffle for dressage and SJ and a Wilkie for XC.

Mo adores the beach and forest rides, he hacks out alone and in company unfazed by traffic or farm machinery.

He will take a child safely over any hunting country & is mannerly with hounds. His love of XC is evident as he never says no to a fence including ditches, banks and water. He is super clever and light on his feet keeping him out of trouble. He has hunted with Route Hunt in Northern Ireland with pictures and videos available.

Mo has no vices and is lovely to do in all ways, he’s excellent to shoe (hot or cold) bath and clip. He travels in a trailer, 3.5 or 7.5 lorry and is handled and loaded by the children. He loves a cuddle and fuss from his people. He is tidy in his stable when in and always comes cantering in from the field when called. He can live in or out with mares or geldings, he’s everybody’s friend.

He is simply an awesome little dude who deserves the very best of homes where he can continue teaching kids how to ride correctly and have the best fun doing so.

Finding the right home is of the utmost importance for us as he is one very special pony. Based in Co. Down, N.I, transport can be arranged.
He is up to date with vaccinations & dentist and will come with a full wardrobe of rugs as well as his tack.
Open to any vetting & PC references can be made available if requested.

Texas is a 14.1 Connemara pony, 6 years old, she has spent the past year with an 11 year old girl.

Soft snaffle mouthed, 3 correct paces and works in an outline, jumps round a course of coloured fences including fillers and planks, takes you into them nicely, has jumped logs out hacking, hacks alone and in company.

She has a laid back attitude to busy environments, regularly takes place in pony club group lessons.

Has always been handled by her competent little owner, ridden bareback in from the fields, lunged etc but we think she would make a cracking pony club pony for a teen wanting to put their own stamp on something and go out and have fun.

Good to clip, shoe, worm, catch etc but can be mare ish and pull a face at other horses. Loads and travels perfectly.

For sale as rider lost interest and is giving up, currently being schooled by petite adult, up to date with teeth, physio, worming, saddler, sold with a year old gfs saddle, bridle and rugs.

  • Pretty allrounder perfect for pony club and showjumping
  • Forward responsive ride with scopey jump
  • Sweet natured and easy on the ground

We have had Bubbles for two and a half years and she is now very sadly outgrown.

In the time we have had her she has done pony club, day and stay away camps and rides on the moor and beach.

She is a pleasure to have on the yard with a very sweet personality and my children can do everything with her.

She has taken my daughter from jumping 50cm to 70 cm courses and has schooled higher. She loves jumping and is quick in a jump off.

She isn’t a first pony as she is a forward going and responsive ride. She is best when kept in regular work (3-4 times a week is plenty), good to lunge and will ride and lead, easily keeping up with a bigger horse.

She is good to catch, load, clip and with the farrier and dentist. Doesn’t change when out in open spaces and good in traffic.

Unfortunately our competitive career with Bubbles has been limited as she was diagnosed with a bone cyst in her stifle last year. She has been treated for this with joint injections and has been given the all clear from the vet and physio and has been back in work for 3 months and is happily doing everything asked of her. She has been priced to reflect this, I am more than happy to discuss this further.

She will come with tack and rugs including Kent and masters saddle.

Ellie is sadly totally outgrown, she is a forward thinking pony who needs a competent jockey, so strictly no novices.

She has competed in all pony club activities. Loves jumping for fun! Super games pony.

Barefoot, vaccinated and microchipped, she has had her teeth and back done regularly and is a dream to load and travel and good in traffic.

Ellie has amazing ground manners, loves a cuddle and attention.

Has been hacked out on her own with us, but is equally happy in company, also well behaved in open fields. Loves and thrives off work, a real gem.

Rugs available and tack negotiable.

Please no time wasters, this pony is worth her weight in gold but ready to do another job for another lucky jockey.
