An outstanding 2 year old gelding with the best of breeding. His sire Magnetic, was licensed in Germany in 2022 with the South German Studbook, and has since been dual licensed with the AES.

He achieved second place in the 6 year old World Beeding Championships selection trial earlier this year, and is now being slowly produced up the levels.

His dam had been slowly produced and competed at advanced medium, before turning to breeding. Dam’s sire was Samarant, an attractive, dynamic Sandro Hit son who was awarded top scores at his stallion performance test.

While his great dam sire is the well known Olympic champion Don Schufro, who has been the no1 in the German dressage index for breeding stallions over 10 times.

He has produced numerous talented offspring and always passes on his fabulous paces, and excellent temperament.

Oochi has been home bred, and well handled from birth. He has three outstanding balanced paces. His walk is active, rhythmical with excellent ground cover and over track.

His trot has great swing and an active hind leg, while his canter is powerful, uphill and has tremendous ground cover.

2023 small Sports Horse filly to make 15/15.1hh.

Home-bred to make a higher-end RC all-rounder, Widgeon Hill Ceilidh was awarded Gold at the recent British Breeding Futurity as a part-bred native. Despite being only two, she is already an SPSS graded mare, on top of the SPSS Youngstock Evaluation Premium status she was awarded as a yearling.

Her breeding is unique: Ceilidh is by the Highland pony Balmoral Sport, out of the SPSS-graded and ApHC registered mare Chamfron Chipita, who is herself from very versatile American Appaloosa and Quarter Horse bloodlines, including a good dose of TB.

Her dam was never competed consistently or frequently due to my lack of time and energy, but nevertheless evented up to 90cm, did SJ, arena eventing, hunter trials, County-level showing (spotted and Foreign breed classes), dressage (only to Novice but she would easily have gone further with a more competitive rider than I), was borrowed for PC dressage teams and was also approved for para riders to use in RDA dressage competitions. I anticipate that Ceilidh will be capable of doing the same range of activities, and more.

I originally bred Ceilidh as a retirement pony for me, but have reluctantly accepted that a quick-thinking, athletic and intelligent small sports horse is far more suited to an experienced amateur competitive rider (maybe a mother/teenager share?) to produce and later excel in RC competitions, than being the laid-back more-whoa-than-go conveyance I need in the hope of riding into my 70s!

The right home is very important. I am looking for a home experienced with youngsters and groundwork: Ceilidh needs a kind, consistent handler who can reinforce respectful boundaries. She is a friendly and affectionate filly who comes to call, loves being groomed and pampered, and once she feels secure in you as a leader she tries very hard, and learns very quickly. She needs a “doing” home, she will not be the kind of horse you can only ride once a week (another reason she isn’t right for me) and I have a strong preference for a home who intend to compete in their chosen discipline(s) when the time comes. I am also keen that she has a home that can offer her daily turnout with equine friends.

Ceilidh could also be a versatile broodmare providing a total outcross to produce either sports ponies (I’d love to see what she would produce crossed to a Welsh Section B), capable RC all-rounders, or she could be crossed to a TB or warmblood for a larger, higher-octane sports horse with a dash of hardy sensible native pony blood.

With regard to colour genetics, Ceilidh is a bay dun appaloosa: any offspring would have a 50% chance of being spotted and a 50% chance of being dun (higher if bred to a dun and/or spotted stallion) and would be eligible for an SPSS passport. Please note, she has one blue eye and one brown eye so if you can't stand horses with blue eyes, swipe left!

We believe that it is crucial to lead by example. Over the years, Breen Equestrian Ltd has bought many horses at auction; Dorada from Goresbridge, Hello Vittoria from Fences and BP Arctic Blue from Ballypatrick Auctions. 1 year old American Paint horse (APHA registered) filly, born April 2024. 5 panel n/n by parentage. Lovely nature, well handled from birth. Good to catch, lead, pick up feet, with vet and farrier etc. Vaccinated, regularly wormed and trimmed.

Height currently around 14.1hh. Was expected to make 15-15.1hh but given her height now she may be bigger. Beautifully marked. Homozygous tobiano so will breed coloured foals. My absolute dream horse.

Very sadly for sale due to change in my personal circumstances. Will only go to very best home.

This wonderful young horse has been a pleasure to produce for his owner.

He has all the boldness and athleticism to make a serious event horse.

All the movement to go up the levels in dressage, and all the jump for show jumping.

He is also smart enough to do very well at Workers or Large riding horse.

He has done two young horse classes where he behaved impeccably, jumping some tricky lines and spooky jumps at some intimidating venues!

He has also been to a number of arena hires, jumping decent courses including all fillers, water trays etc. He has xc schooled a few times now jumping ditches, banks, going through water confidently and has really enjoyed himself.

He is working sweetly on the flat, is naturally very up hill, has a lot of power and elevation in his movement, and would definitely be good enough for pure Dressage.

He is a sweetheart to do, an easy ride, hacks alone and in company around the roads happily.
