Looking for preferably something with experience up to 130+ and in the age bracket of 9-13 (however still interested in something a little older which still has jump and is need of an easier life, maybe a grade A), 16hh min would be needed with me being tall and preferably a forward ride but not fussed. Ideally a large breed native but I would consider a Traditional, native coloured or a coloured 15hh SHP.

Mare or gelding, 4 years plus, 13.2 -15hh (but within breed height restrictions)

The perfect pony will have a proven CV at HOYS / RI level but I will consider an outstanding novice with some mileage, must enjoy hacking and be good with all traffic. A bonus if has also done some dressage

Things I like:
- A good front and length of rein
- A neat head with a kind eye
- A pony with good manners that enjoys attention
- A forward, light, supple and snaffle mouthed ride
- A pony that enjoys hacking alone or in company

I am looking for a eventer (gelding)either a younger horse to bring on or an older horse that needs to come down some grades. I enjoy all phases but his paces must have potential of reaching medium level dressage and be able to jump up to 100 now or in time.

My budget is around £10,000 and so I do not mind a horse that needs work as long as they are sane and trainable, I am getting too old for sharp horses, especially riding around the farm with birds, deer etc. alternatively an older horse that has been there done that would also be an option.

I would still like to be competitive but at a lower level now, I do travel on my own and so need a horse that is manageable.

I have another older horse so will have company and would be turned out daily.

I am very open minded so please throw any possibilities my way.

Im a confident rider with many many years of experience with different breed of horses. However, as I am nearing 40, i am now looking for my last horse of a life time, so looking for a nice allrounder to have fun and bring me back home safe and in one piece.

I own a small holding which consists of stables, arena and 10 acres of land.

Currently have 5 horses at home which consist of a pony for my daughter, 2 retired that have been with me for years and 2 youngsters I bred myself.

Things I am looking for in my next horse - they must be easy to do in all ways, I often will go to shows by myself or with my young daughter.

Confidence giver and forgiving in the jumping department, someone to help me out when I get it wrong - nice steady approach when jumping, don’t want something that locks on a shoots forward.

Hack out alone and in company.

Must work in a nice soft outline as I do like the odd dressage test.

Must be able to go on a fun ride without going mental.

No bucking, rearing - I understand it is impossible to ask for a bomb proof horse but something not spooky.

I am actively looking and have a healthy budget for the right horse.

Height - 15.2hh to 16.2hh don’t want anything smaller. May consider something bigger but I am only 5ft2 so don’t want to be over horsed.

Age - 7 years to 11years may go slightly older depending on how old. But don’t want to go any younger as I do what the horse to have experience.

Ideally looking to buy from a private home, someone who has had their horse for a while and knows a lot of history.

One of the main issues that RDA groups face is finding an Equine to suit the needs of the participants in their group.

We are regularly contacted with offers of Equines that are ‘the ideal RDA horse or pony’ when actually what is ideal for one group may not be for the next. We are trying to move away from the stereotypical view that RDA Equines are elderly and somewhat static, our horses and ponies need to be fit, healthy and athletic to cope with the lifestyle in an RDA group.

They can range from smaller, forward going ponies to weight carrying cobs and can take part in a range of disciplines from Riding to Carriage Driving, Vaulting to Show Jumping and Endurance.

If you contact an RDA Group about your Equine please be prepared to fill in an Equine Initial Interest Form which will ask you many questions about your horses’ temperament, health history, experience and lifestyle. Many groups will prefer to have an equine on trial to make sure they are suitable for the job.

For long term loans and purchases they will also be required to have a Pre-Purchase Examination.

*I have ridden all my life and now I just want something that is safe and sensible. So first and foremost I don't want anything that bucks rears spins or bolts!

*Breed wise I have no preference. Over the years, my daughter and I have had various breeds (my retired horse is an Iberian but he moves like a WB) so I am open to all sorts.

*I can't have anything too small, (I am 5'9") and I don't mind if it's mare gelding or a well behaved stallion.

*I don't want to jump so thats not a requirement but I would like a horse I can hack out by myself and take to clinics in my small lorry (by myself). I am not fused about the competing side of things but maybe the occasional BD show in summer would nice?

*I would like something working at advanced medium as a minimum. In the past I have trained up to PSG/Int1 movements.

*Age? I am not overly concerned. Also anything with medical issues may not be ruled out, as long as I know what I am dealing with, therefore can judge the commitment I am making.

In return I can offer a 10* home with professional support on the ground and a home for life. We are fortunate to be able to keep our horses at home and have our retired ponies and horses still with us! I am happy to provide references and to keep in touch with the sellers. - Nice person
- Good to mount, load, shoe, clip and catch
- A more leg on type, not a complete kick along but also not whizzy or with questionable brakes.
- Will pop smoothly over some small jumps. I am out of practice jumping so something that will help me out would be perfect - however have no ambitions to go much higher than 80.
- Ideally within 2 hours drive of Watford, although willing to go a bit further afield for perfect.
- Colour not important but ideally not grey
- High 4/low 5 figure budget for the right horse.

Horse will have a fab home on a busy livery yard. I am a first time owner but long term sharer/part loaner and have loads of knowledgeable support.

I am an adult looking to do get out and about and do low level SJ/XC, local shows, clinics, fun rides and lots of hacking. I am used to riding a sensible ID who wouldn't dream of bucking, bolting, rearing etc and is a yard favourite as a hacking buddy, I am looking for similar in my next horse.
