Standing at approximately 16.1hh–16.2hh, he is a beautiful stamp with an athletic model and the most wonderful temperament. Safe, genuine and kind, he truly is the sort you could “put your granny on!” Ride him backwards, carry an umbrella – nothing seems to faze him. He is as safe as houses.

Johnny is a pleasure to have around, being lovely in the stable, easy to handle and travelling well. Having come over from Ireland, he has proven himself to be a genuine, straightforward horse with a fantastic attitude to everything asked of him.

He would make a superb showing prospect, a fabulous riding club horse, or a brilliant all-rounder for someone wanting something a little different and truly special.

Clydesdales of this quality and temperament are exceptionally hard to find, and Johnny has been thoroughly put through his paces, as you can see from the pictures.

9-year-old | 15.1hh | Beautiful, chunky cob mare

Megan Trainor is a beautiful 15.1hh, 9-year-old cob mare with plenty of substance. A real weight carrier, she is ideal for somebody looking for a bigger, sturdier type with a little more leg on.

She has all the basics established in the school, working in walk, trot and canter, and is very much more woah than go. She is a steady, sensible mare who can be geared up when asked, but she is naturally a lovely, uncomplicated ride.

Megan hacks happily both alone and in company and is a proper “leg in each corner” type — solid, chunky and beautiful.

With her temperament and stamp, Megan would be an excellent addition to a riding school, riding centre or RDA programme. She would also be well suited to a novice rider wanting to learn the ropes on a steady, confidence-giving mare.

A lovely mare with plenty to offer and a fantastic type for a variety of homes and jobs.

Fun forward thinking maxi cob mare that will give someone a lot pleasure doing a bit of everything, hacking, possibly hunting, fun rides, local showing etc.

Lizzo is a lovely type, she’s a real leg at each corner model and has inches of bone. Shes well up to weight. Lizzo is not a boring ploddy cob. Shes very much a sports horse trapped in a cobs body! She’s forward thinking and off the aids, she’s not silly but ticks along in a good rhythm. Really nice mover and a natural jumper too. With a little more work on the flat she could do a lovely dressage test. She’s going to best suit a rider who appreciates a forward cob and is capable of riding through their seat, she’s not a mare that likes having her mouth hung off so novices need not apply. She’s has three good paces and works naturally on the bridle just needs to learn to accept and come round riders leg a bit more. Lizzo has a super jump and could go on to enjoy a bit of show jumping with more education. She loves jumping XC and is bold and brave, jumped straight round full XC course but is green, she’s very genuine though. We think she would make a super hunting cob. She loves her hacking both alone and in company and is good in traffic. She enjoys a pub stop and is happy to stand and chill.

In her previous home Lizzo has done some unaffiliated showing. She has also bred a couple of foals in Ireland, could go on to have another hence being a late starter to ridden work and green for her age. She’s switched on and needs a decent rider but is kind and keen to learn and everyone here who has sat on her loves her! She's realistically priced due to her current level of education, in a few months time she will be the dream!
